I called from out of state because I could not get hold of a former classmate of mine at her number at Oakleaf Village in Toledo. I talked with Ricky on 2-3-23, left her my number, she had my classmate leave a msg from a diff phone nbr than I had! Next day I called to verify the nbr, Joanie said it was the correct nbr, Pat cannot hear her phone, and they were working on fixing it. What a wonderful job by these two ladies, in a senior home, and the love they have for their job and the clients! I am so thankful there are people who DO care for our seniors who need their care! I informed the Director of the compassion from these two ladies, and pray these two ladies, and all other caregivers at Oakleaf Village of Toledo, Ohio are blessed each day for their "jobs well done." It was a nice experience when I was visiting. The room even on lockdown looked well decorated and felt like actual homes. The food was great, the staff was well mannered and respectful. Even answered my questions I had pertaining to nursing. Although when trying to drive in there was cones in the way of the entrance, you had to drive around them and on the curb, and then when inside the building they just told me directions in a big building I had never been in. Ended up lost and some lady helped me. Other than that is the place it lovely.

Wonderful place to work. Great co workers and community. Have had the best Nurse week here. Managers are there for you and try very hard to keep residents and staff happy. Highly recommend this place to work or live.

My mother lived at Oak Leaf. My sister and I were hesitant at first to put her into a retirement community. After Mom was a resident for a couple of months, we wondered why she hadn't gone sooner. The very best part of this facility is the WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL staff, they are A+. My mother had some problems with pick up times, etc and the staff knew her schedule well enough to keep her on track. Everytime I pass Oak Leaf I think about stopping in just for appreciation of Jackie, my mom's nurse and the other staff who were so very kind. Thank you and God Bless all who work there.

Oakleaf is home! Home -safety, comfort, caring and heart this is what we found here at Oakleaf. The most recent move in of our Father has proven the decision for Oakleaf is a perfect fit. We were at a point where Dad needed to leave his much beloved (where he lived 60 years) home. Our search was vast but it was at Oakleaf through the assistance of an attentive, professional and caring staff that our needs and wants were meet. The residential and staff community along with the variety of activities at Oakleaf are exceptional and life enriching. This is home!

OakLeaf Village is a nice community with happy people, both residents and staff. Every time I visit, the lobby is filled with folks having fun. The sales staff was professional and thorough in answering all my questions.

What a beautiful facility! They hosted a Sylvania Chamber of Commerce event and we got a quick tour of the place. The lobby was a lively place with many residents enjoying a little live entertainment before dinner. I got to see an apartment which seemed to have everything one could want to enjoy life. Thanks for hosting!

My wife and I visited today checking out a place to move my father-in-law from Atlanta. Cari was knowledgable, caring and spent over an hour with us showing us the many amenities on site. We spoke with several residents who were pleasant and seemed very happy at OakLeaf. Impressed by the many activities that seemed to be available to residents. Several different choices for apartments and the setting for the building is lovely.

Over the years my wife and I have had relatives, acquaintances, and many church friends happily reside at Oakleaf Village in Sylvania, Ohio, where you will find some of the most caring and considerate staff anywhere. Our daughter, Dena, is an employee and considers Oakleaf to be her home away from home. We both enjoy volunteering at various events during the year and look forward on Friday mornings helping in the dining room (The Acorn) during breakfast hours.
