Agree with the comment above. Heron Woods gave less than one month notice to these seniors who depended on meal service. Absolutely terrible handling of this property being sold.

You need to take Heron Woods down from this site since everything that is mentioned is no longer true. I have an elderly friend who moved into Heron Woods almost four years ago thinking that was the last home she'd need. In the past few month, they have closed their Assisted Living (Heron Manor) and turned it into low-income housing. Now, Heron Woods has just dropped all activites, housekeeping AND MEALS for their residents!! Some of these people have lived there for years and are in wheelchairs and now have to find a way to feed themselves. It is truly a sad situation. The staff (who are now losing their jobs at the end of August) are so caring but will now be out of a job.
