Just try to call the nurse number between the hours of 5-10pm any night. (And even throughout the day, but recently I tried for about a week between 5-10pm to change medicines for my mother. You will not reach a nurse. They do not pick up so if you need to tell them something you need to go there. They do not have an answering machine either so you cannot leave a message. You cannot call a supervisor because they take messages, but no one ever calls back so it too is a dead end. When you cant reach staff, it is frustrating. Even if it is a "well check up" when Mom does not answer the call for a day or two.

My mother was at Brookwood for a little over a year. The experience was very rocky in the beginning due a particularly rude social worker. My mother wanted a single room and Brookwood informed my I’d have to pay $1,500/month out of pocket for her to do so. Upon her death, they’ve continued to charge me for her room. Despite numerous attempts to contact them via voicemail and emails I’ve yet to hear back in over 3 weeks. I’d seek another option for your loved one before settling on Brookwood. The experience I’ve had a been very jarring and traumatic. I’d hate for anyone else to have a similar experience.

Brookwood is not the place to go. The aides don't answer call lights, they sit around and talk on their phone. When things are brought up in the office everything goes in one ear and out the other. Food is no good and it's not cooked right. You get the food cold. Laundry people lose clothes. Cleaning crew are terrible too. Stay away if you want to live.

I left my previous company after 16 years.. Brookwood has opened my eyes and showed me so much appreciation. They have been so awesome to work for even on the rough days someone will cheer you up and make you smile. That's what I love about this place I can't wait to continue growing h

I have been at Brookwood now for approximately two months and it has just been an amazing experience. There are just so many wonderful individuals I feel truly blessed to be a part of this team. There are great things on the horizon for this Community.

Brookwood is a facility that strives to create such a positive atmosphere despite the current covid-19 pandemic. I have had the opportunity to be able to observe such emotional and positive interactions from the staff towards the residents and their families. 2020 was such a difficult year, but being able to see the connection and the efforts staff go to, to normalize and comfort that resident population was eye opening. The resident connection was such a warm and emotional one that it also caused me to feel the emotional relationship, a feeling that gives me pride, happiness and faith in Brookwood.

I have worked for Brookwood for a long time and have enjoyed working with all the other departments. The staff here is helpful and is fast to jump in where help is needed. The residents are fun to be around and have a great sense of humor. The activities department is always engaged with the residents keeping them active and moving.

Brookwood is an exceptional community of employees, residents, and families. The attention that goes into personalizing the care for each resident makes me very proud to witness every day. There is a strong loyalty and commitment to the care of and for the residents. The people that work at Brookwood make it very clear every day that they are there to improve the lives of the residents they serve.
