You always made sure Eddie did what he loved best dancing and singing. You always made sure he had a dance partner. My family and I all highly recommend Westwood Inn. After a thorough search for the right place for our parents we knew Westwood was the correct choice. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. The staff is kind, caring and professional. Every department has stand-out employees that our family will always remember fondly. We also needed the hospice services available at Westwood, and were very pleased with Assured Hospice as well. Overall, the past two and a half years were very positive for our family. My father was a 4 yr resident who suffered from dementia. There is high staff turnover, lack of training & nepotism in hiring. My father, who was a FALL RISK, was often left unattended in his room during the day against our wishes.

Our parents were residents of Westwood Inn for 3 years. Our mom and dad for 1 year until his passing, followed by 2 additional years for our mom as a widow. The last 10 months mom was in memory care until her recent passing. As a family we could not have been more pleased with the entire facility from Independent Living to Memory Care, the activities and more importantly the care they were given by the ENTIRE staff was great. Were there any concerns for us? Sure, there may have been a few, but these were our parents that we want the best for at all times. Reflecting on it now, over the course of 1100 continuous days of care, there really wasn’t that many concerns. Based on stories I have heard from friends about family at other facilities in the area and/or outside of the area, this place is the tops. Our parents did have the utmost care during their 3 years stay here. If we were doing this all over again, we would not choose any place else besides Westwood Inn. Thank you, Westwood Inn!

I fell in love with the building and staff from the first time I walked in. Rinku Topiwala and the care team here are SO welcoming! They take excellent care of their residents! Desiree Raspberry the director has been such a pleasure to work with professionally. Sonia has also been extremely helpful in their community! Westwood always has the best events and life enrichment for their staff. I love clean and updated the building is too. Thank you Westwood for being such a great example of top notch senior care

My father was in to other senior facilities before this they couldn’t come close to the professionalism of Westwood. From the very first appointment my family had a good feeling. We were not wrong I can’t name everyone but a couple of shout outs Kimberly at the desk autumn James, just everyone were attentive, professional, and always kind to my father. The facility was clean. It was easy to get around. I would recommend it highly to anybody, there is no doubt in my mind that Westwood runs as efficiently as it does because of Desiree she is the executive Director between her and Rinku. It ran like a clock. If there was ever an issue, Desiree handle it on the spot without an attitude, and always professional. And let me say there were not many problems that had to be handled. The bottom line is no place is perfect but Westwood is as close as you’ll ever get.

On behalf of my entire family, we were so happy with the personal care and support from the entire staff. My mom developed close relationships with most of the loving people who work there. The entire process of getting my dad into Westwood has been spectacular. From the moment we met with Sonia Mosey we knew we had found the perfect spot. She took time to get to know my dad - ask him what he was looking for and what his concerns are regarding moving into an independent living facility. She gave us a perfectly guided tour - introducing virtually every person on the staff as well as knowing most of all the residents - we were very impressed. The facilities are fantastic, clean, fresh and very comfortable. I’m so glad we found Westwood and look forward to many years of improving the quality of Dad’s life. Thank you to everyone at Westwood you are all truly special and caring people.

I was very pleased when I toured Westwood with my husband for my mother in law. It’s very clean and they have very friendly staff. We ended up choosing Westwood over 3 other communities. I can’t say everything has been perfect but when he brings up concerns to administration they are always available and take care of the issues right away. I can absolutely say that my mother in law loves her new home and we are pleased with our decision.

Westwood Inn is an outstanding place for your loved one. The staff is always courteous and helpful, and the residents there always seem to be in a great mood. My friend’s mother says she especially enjoys and looks forward to the entertainment they bring in regularly, and the events coordinator Jodi does an amazing job. All the staff there is exceptional. I highly recommend this place.

My grandmother lived in memory care for her last days. Every time we would visit she was happy and smiling. She lived in another facility before she moved to Westwood and there is no comparison to the love and compassion we received there. Thank you Westwood for all that you did.

My mom moved in to Westwood when it first opened. We have never regretted our decision, she is in independent living, but gets all her meals, housekeeping and laundry done for her. There is also crafts, entertainment, a book club that she loves, movies, and daily happy hour. She is busy most of the day, and has met some wonderful people there. The staff is awesome and she had great friends she eats with daily. Her quality of life has definitely improved.

The change in Mom has been so amazing. She has purpose again and enjoys all of the activities that Westwood has to offer. We enjoy celebrating the holidays with the residents and she loves to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren at these events. The staff is very caring and welcoming and we couldn't be happier knowing that she is safe, busy, and happy.

Moving my mom into a room at Westwood Inn has been the best decision for her care and safety. This can be a very difficult process but the staff at Westwood made it much easier with their knowledge and no pressure approach. She has been a resident for almost a year and the burden it has taken off of me knowing that someone can assist her right away has been a huge relief. The facility is always clean and I am constantly greeted with smiling faces every time I visit. Every day is filled with activities and families are always encouraged to join in. I highly recommend considering Westwood Inn if your loved one needs the extra care.

My mother moved to Westwood 14 months ago and is thriving. She especially enjoys the variety of activities offered daily. The facility is beautiful with offers several areas to gather in small groups to play cards or enjoy conversation. The happy hour pub is a fun place to gather each day before dinner. The best part of Westwood is the warm and friendly staff. They go out of their way to ensure everyone is comfortable, well cared for and enjoying their day. I’ve recommended Westwood to several people looking for senior living for their parents.

My mother is absolutely loving her new place. The staff has been helpful and responsive. Maintenance is prompt and even helps with non-building related items (powered wheelchair). The entire process from first tour to move in has been supported well by the staff. What a comfort it is to the family to know mom's safe and cared for. Thank you Westwood Inn!!!

Westwood Inn is a wonderful home for my aunt who recently moved to Michigan. Her caregivers are awesome and very attentive. The facility is beautiful with many amenities and activities and the staff members truly care about the residents like they were family. Sonia and Justin helped my aunt get settled every step of the way and made her transition easy and stress free. They even put her favorite wind spinner outside her window so she could see it everyday! I would highly recommend Westwood Inn to anyone searching for an assisted living facility for their loved one.

My 96 year old Mamma is the happiest I’ve seen her in years!! Westwood is gorgeous and the staff gives her all the attention she thrives for. The move in process was seamless and I’m so greatfull that Sonia and Justin treated us like family and helped every step of the way…. Mom and I actually cried together, we did it! I’m looking forward to spending countless hours in the game room playing cards with her and meeting new friends. I believe I have my girlfriend back - not the woman who constantly talked about being lonely. Thank you for the sincere warm welcome, we’re overwhelmed by your hospitality!

We are so happy with Westwood Inn and would highly recommend them ! Westwood offers many options including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. Their new facility is just stunning and beautiful. They have numerous eating areas, a lobby playing wonderful music, a library, and nice covered outdoor areas.......and that's just a few things on the first floor. On the second floor, they have a full service hair salon, a full movie theater, activity and exercise areas too. What we like about it, is that it doesn't feel like a hospital setting.....unlike many other places. We wanted something relaxing and comfortable for our mom that had some decent space to it, which we found difficult to find in our due diligence of other facilities in the area. Westwood has wonderful roomy apartments that include granite counter tops, full size refrigerators, dishwashers, and nice restrooms in each unit. Nursing is top notch and we can't say enough about the Westwood nursing team. They were kind and attentive to our mom all the way through her final days. They handled all medications and helped when hospice services were necessary for our mom. They were proactive and properly communicated with the family. The front office is professional, prompt and flexible - we appreciate Anna the Executive Director of the facility and her entire team. They had a good can-do attitude and we felt mom was in good hands at all times. The food is good there too and they have a varied menu of nice options. We know picking a place can be stressful for a family. We went through it and that process. It's not easy. So, it was a true blessing to find Westwood and that mom loved them, which was the most important. We would recommend them !
