My father was a 4 yr resident who suffered from dementia. There is high staff turnover, lack of training & nepotism in hiring. My father, who was a FALL RISK, was often left unattended in his room during the day against our wishes.

Our mother lived in Westwood in memory care for over a year. This was a very difficult time for myself and my family, however, there were some true caring individuals that spent time with her and made her days there as comfortable as they could have been. The special events, activities and the pub were all well-liked amenities. Special thank you to Rinku, James, Brianna, Autumn, Vanessa, April, Brandon, Trina, Sue, Jodie, Lisa, Debbie and all those that had a genuine and kind relationship with her.

My father was in to other senior facilities before this they couldn't come close to the professionalism of Westwood. From the very first appointment my family had a good feeling. We were not wrong I can't name everyone but a couple of shout outs Kimberly at the desk autumn James, just everyone were attentive, professional, and always kind to my father. The facility was clean. It was easy to get around. I would recommend it highly to anybody, there is no doubt in my mind that Westwood runs as efficiently as it does because of Desiree she is the executive Director between her and Rinku. It ran like a clock. If there was ever an issue, Desiree handle it on the spot without an attitude, and always professional. And let me say there were not many problems that had to be handled. The bottom line is no place is perfect but Westwood is as close as you'll ever get.

On behalf of my entire family, we were so happy with the personal care and support from the entire staff. My mom developed close relationships with most of the loving people who work there. I was very pleased when I toured Westwood with my husband for my mother in law. It's very clean and they have very friendly staff. We ended up choosing Westwood over 3 other communities. I can't say everything has been perfect but when he brings up concerns to administration they are always available and take care of the issues right away. I can absolutely say that my mother in law loves her new home and we are pleased with our decision.

The entire process of getting my dad into Westwood has been spectacular. From the moment we met with Sonia Mosey we knew we had found the perfect spot. She took time to get to know my dad - ask him what he was looking for and what his concerns are regarding moving into an independent living facility. She gave us a perfectly guided tour - introducing virtually every person on the staff as well as knowing most of all the residents - we were very impressed. The facilities are fantastic, clean, fresh and very comfortable. I'm so glad we found Westwood and look forward to many years of improving the quality of Dad's life. Thank you to everyone at Westwood you are all truly special and caring people.
