Amazing facility with amazing staff that goes above and beyond caring for the residents. Round the clock nursing care, in house physical therapy, lots of activities, and great food. The pasture is complete with cows and horses and a stocked pond. There’s plenty to do at Summerfield. You won’t find a more complete retirement community on the Mississippi Gulf Coast!!

I have personally worked in and stayed in several Assisted Living communities, throughout several states, and Summerfield most certainly remains at the top of my list of favorites. The grounds are breathtaking and consistently beautifully maintained; the inside is always clean and odorless. The residents are very active, happy, and genuinely enjoy their time with all those they engage with, whether it be staff, visitors, or other residents. Summerfield truly is a senior living community that I would recommend to everyone.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this assisted living facility. The staff is caring, compassionate, and always treats the residents with dignity and respect. They go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable, safe, and at home The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. There are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged, and it’s clear the staff genuinely cares about their well-being and happiness. Communication with families is excellent. The Administrator, Sandy treats everyone like family. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe, supportive, and caring place for a family member.

I can’t express how incredible summerfield was for my grandfather. I was so worried about his mental and physical health going into an assisted living facility but it brought him sooooo much life. He met the best of friends he’s ever had, the staff was so incredibly loving and supportive towards him, and there was always something fun that he was doing!! Summerfield was a true blessing for him and our family!

I have never been to this senior assisted living facility, but I’m eager to start volunteering my services here. It excites me to see such positively written reviews for a facility, crediting the staff for all of their hard work and care for the residents. I was adopted at birth, and was not fortunate to have either paternal or maternal grandparents through my adoptive family, so I missed out on having that opportunity to create a bond and shared memories with them. However, I am wanting to adopt a few locally in Gulfport where I now reside after my time in the service. As a believer and doer of the words written and spoken in The Holy Bible, it gives specific commands and instructions on how we are to take care of widows and orphans! I am truly hoping that I am able to a be a source of comfort & strength, and a beacon of light to these residents, while adopting a few of my own! Though I have not formally met the staff, I thank you for what you do to ensure you prioritize the safety, care, and well being of the lives of others at your facility! A first impression is truly a lasting impression & what you do and don’t do matter. These reviews matter!!

I cannot say enough good things about Summerfield. My mother lived on the independent side for about a year, and loved every minute of it. From the staff, food, activities, she had a wonderful experience. She had to be moved over to the memory care unit, and again cannot say enough about the care she received from the staff (Holly & Krissy most notably). They were always attentive to her changing needs and worked with us to make it work for her needs. I would highly recommend Summerfield, it is a beautiful property with wonderful people and care.

Summerfield Gulfport is the most beautiful senior living facilities I’ve ever seen. Everyone is so happy and friendly anytime I’ve been there. I could sit and watch the cows and horses all day! And I itch to drop a line in their catfish pond! I had the privilege to eat thanks giving lunch there and it was like being at grandmas house! The cooks are top tier! And their barn dances are a hoot and a half! There is always incredible entertainers coming and going! If you’re on the fence about who to trust your loved ones with I highly recommend summerfield. Go take a tour and you’ll see what I’m talking about you’re not throwing them in a stale lifeless environment here. Youre giving them quality of life with a multitude of activities where they actually care.

My mom has been at Summerfield Assisted Living for over two years. The staff and administrators are amazing! The activity schedule is beyond wonderful. The residents are well cared for and treated like family. I’m so grateful for Summerfield!

Absolutely an amazing place, feels like you are living in a country home. Horses, geese, barn and even a fishing pond. The facilities are just as nice. Seems as if the residents are always involved in some activity. The staff has been great. Welcome me with open arms. Can’t image a better place to spend my Senior years.

Summerfield has been such a wonderful place for my mother. The staff truly go above and beyond to make residents feel cared for and respected. The building is always clean and welcoming, and there’s a genuine warmth the moment you walk through the doors. The management team communicates well and is always open to feedback. You can tell they really care about both the residents and their families. The activities are engaging, the meals are great, and the nursing staff is attentive and compassionate. It gives me such peace of mind knowing my loved one is in a place where people treat them like family. I would highly recommend Summerfield to anyone looking for a safe, supportive, and loving community. Also, they have horses and cows! How cool is that

I’ve been here for two years and I love it! The residents and the staff are all very nice and helpful! We have church service on Sunday mornings, we have activities all throughout the day (bowling, movies, games), we have a library. We have 3 meals a day and the food is delicious! We have a beauty/barber shop. We have housekeeping once a week. Summerfield is a great choice!

As a service provider to multiple communities across the state, I can say I’ve seen it all. Summerfield in Gulfport has all the bells and whistles. Although I’ve not had a lot of interaction with the residents I’ve seen enough to know they area happy and well cared for. The community is clean, smells great everytime I’m there, the staff are friendly and always helpful. I’ve never witnessed any place have the quality events and entertainment I’ve seen there (Barn Dance)! I’d absolutely recommend them to any member of my family.

I’m new to the area and was looking to volunteer my time when I came across Summerfield Senior Living of Gulfport. The staff were so welcoming and the facility was immaculate! This place is beautiful inside and out. The residents were enjoying their time with all sorts of activities and strolling the beautiful grounds which has a gorgeous barn and lovely gardens. I wholeheartedly enjoyed my time there and would recommend this place to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for themselves or loved ones!!!

I have lived at Summerfield for almost 3 years. For the past two I have been the President of the residents Council. The facilities are always clean and in good repair. Special acclaimation goes to the activities department who ensures a plethora of daily activities to suit every need. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The grounds are beautiful with a stocked fishpond, greenhouse, and barn with a horse and four cows. The residents are happy and this reflects through the entire facility. Just come see for yourself.

I have returned to work at Summerfield and have found wonderful changes throughout the community. Our memory care has loving staff who truly care about the people there. Our residents are happy and active! Residents are taken out for scenic drives and occasional lunch outings. The apartments are clean and well maintained. The main living area has undergone some positive changes as well. Resident art hangs throughout our comfortable and safe areas.

We helped our father move into Summerfield a couple of weeks ago and he LOVES it there! During our visit, the staff and residents made us feel like family right away. We were amazed at the beautiful interior and exterior of the location. The quality of activities available for residents was impressive. We joined the residents for lunch in the dining room and were offered a nice variety of menu options, including dessert! The food was delicious and portions were impressive.

This community is gorgeous! The atmosphere here is very warm and welcoming. You always see the residents with smiles on their faces and engaged in fun activities through out the day. Summerfield memory care unit was good for about a year. They have gone downhill in the last 3 months. They have cut Staffing and cut out housekeeping and have raised the rent. They have 2 techs 1 RN for 18 residents or patients who need to be watched closely. The memory care unit needs housekeeping more than anyone, should not rely on family to do it when we are paying over 5k a month. The staff is outstanding and I love them all but are so understaffed. Management needs to step up and do something. It breaks my heart to write this review because at one time I would of given them 10 stars.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Summerfield. My parents moved in on day one and I can truly say that all the staff are caring and hardworking. The facilities are exceptional and beautiful. And they went above and beyond when my mother went on hospice and passed away.

Summerfield is recognized as a 5 star senior living facility in Louisiana, Now they are bringing their expertise to the Gulf Coast with programs for a more country setting with many outdoor activities and programs. The amenities, grounds, caliber of health care services offered are very impressive and cater to a healthy lifestyle for seniors. I know it will be a leader in senior residential living in the area.

I am very impressed at the holistic program that Summerfield/Gulfport will offer. The countrylike setting on 21 acres is like a resort. It is a well thought out facility that any senior either independent, assisted or memory care status would be happy to call home.
