Bonaventure Tigard exceeded expectations! Before visiting this location, I toured seven other communities on behalf of my client and his family. I was impressed by the warmth and professionalism that Armanda Soto brings to her role as Executive Director. During my tour with Ms. Soto, her dedication to quality senior care shone through. I knew immediately that Bonaventure would be a great fit for my client. On the occasions I've visited him since he moved in, it's evident that he's well cared for and thriving in his new home. His family is thrilled! I've been consistently impressed by the positive attitudes, friendliness, and compassion demonstrated by the team at Bonaventure Tigard. Ms. Soto's exemplary leadership and dedication foster a welcoming environment for seniors to enjoy their lives while receiving excellent care. Highly recommend!

I've worked at Bonaventure of Tigard for about a year now. The management and team are really a family. We work closely together and I've never worked in a facility that works so well as a team! Foods great, I order the biscuits and gravy daily!

The past 7 years has been an amazing adventure each and everyday. The residents here and always welcoming and kind. Seeing their smiles and laughter throughout the community is one of the greatest joys of being here. The team is very caring and everyone does such an amazing job. Our community is clean and well maintained and has such a homie feel.

13 of us went to the show Shaboom it was the most delightful relaxing experience all the residents who came left so happy. Jennifer is researching future trips for May. This will include Oregon Gardens and the Japanese Garden. Two weeks ago we went to the Tulip festival it was wondering to be able to go on these trips that Bonaventure puts together for us. They are so fulfilling.

I have worked at Bonaventure of Tigard for about a year now. Hands down the best work environment I have ever been apart of. Bonaventure gives you room to grow, I started as a caregiver, then promoted to med tech, AND THEN! With the support of my coworkers and management was promoted to Assisted Living Director. Management truly knows how to get their staff to be as passionate as possible in this field of work. 1000% recommend this facility. I have been BEGGING my grandpa to come check it out!

I have been a resident at Bonaventure of Tigard for over 6 years. I know that things are not perfect in this world, but I like to see people who are striving to make this the best possible place for senior citizens to live. I believe the present staff is very kind and caring led by directors Armanda and Kammi with directors Erma, Julianne and Chris all working together as a team who believe the residents should come first. We also have caregivers, kitchen staff, receptionists and housekeepers who work hard to try and please us. We are like family here with very friendly residents who look out for each other. The 8-year-old building is attractive and bright with high ceilings and nice size rooms. It is close to shopping, doctors, and entertainment. It is comforting to know that we have a backup generator if the electricity goes off which fortunately it did not do during the recent ice storm. I have visited other retirement communities but have not found one that I like better. I have made some wonderful friends here and I am very happy at Bonaventure of Tigard.

I am surprised about some of these negative reviews...disgruntled former employees? Regardless, Bonaventure has been GREAT for my 89 year old Mom. She was at another Assisted Living facility which was legitimately not good before Bonaventure. Bonaventure is clean. Open. Good food. Caring staff and lots of activities. My Mom's apartment is large and modern. She constantly says how much she enjoys living there!

A woman I know is a chef there and she told me that all the food served there is fresh and local, nothing frozen. She said it's a first rate place to live.

I have worked with Bonaventure for almost 2 years now. It's a wonderful establishment. The team members are amazing along with the wonderful residents. Everyone is kind and truly makes a difference, I couldn't see myself working anywhere else. The environment is warm and welcoming from the minute you walk through the doors.

I am proud to say that I am the Activity Director for the Memory Care Unit at Bonaventure. After 4 years I am still amazed at what I see and get to share with our residents on a daily basis. Recently we had art work by two of our residents chosen for The Alzheimer's Association's annual Art Auction. Very exciting! Lately we have all been singing and playing musical instruments for Thanksgiving (Jingle Bells). They are so talented, I often forget I work in Memory Care. I still look forward to coming into work each day. I am grateful that Bonaventure has such a wonderful facility where I can utilize my talents. I feel so strongly about Bonaventure, that I even moved my mom in last year. She loves it here.

I called this community to get information about costs and services, and let me just say that I got much more than that. The people I spoke with were very professional, knowledgeable, and very understanding of our families situation. I'll be looking to make a decision soon, and they are definitely in the running. I would recommend them if you are looking for a loved one.

This is the best place I have ever had the pleasure of serving seniors at! Residents are always smiling, laughing, and having a good time. Bonaventure is set up so staff is encouraged to get to know the residents, which shows in the way that staff takes care of the residents. The majority of staff at Bonaventure has the kindness and compassion that is needed to do this kind of work successfully, they are there for more than a paycheck! The facility is beautiful and clean.

My mother in law has been here six months and enjoys it very much . The staff is very helpful and kind, there is lots of activities to keep her busy. The place is always clean and the other residents help each other out like a small community.

Our family has had experience with other Independent and Assisted Living facilities and we have been pleasantly surprised at the kindness of the staff AND the residents. My mom has felt very at home here, making friends and enjoying the activities Bonaventure has to offer. She suffers from memory/confusion issues and everyone has been so caring and understanding. Mom always comments on how clean Bonaventure is and how nicely the grounds are kept. We (her family) is grateful to have a found a place where our mom feels safe and happy.

Had the chance to review the property today and meet with some of the staff. I also have a friend who recently lost a love one who resided at the facility and her experience was very caring and supported. 4 stars because I do not have a direct relation living there. But have heard many positive from acquaintances. Would definitely check them out if looking!

My parents moved there in Feb and it started well.. but now the food service, both quality of food AND service has gone steeply down hill. It takes an hour to get served at dinner... and then they bring you a cold cheese sandwich. Poor management seems to be the issue. Also the Wifi service to the building goes down every other day and no one seems to have any answers. No response from Salem on what they plan to do to correct the situation. Very disappointing.

It's a very beautiful place and they try to accommodate the people that live there with lots of activities and fun things to do. They have a great staff that is very friendly and fun to be around. There are lots of smiling face and great encouragement to do fun things!
