Mother was a resident at Terra Point for a few years. I kept a close eye on things. I feel confident to say, we trust this facility. The staff is legitimately kind hearted, we had no issues with communication. Executive Director Mrs. Perkins always made time to answer our questions and concerns. Mother's room was always clean and tended too. There was plenty of space for her to wander and the participate in activities. She was a handful, but they always treated her with respect and dignity. This review is more of a thank you for caring for my mother than anything else. * The in house chief, she deserves a review of her own. Her culinary skills and attention to details. She could easily be representing a Scottsdale restaurant.

Terra Pointe has been put in a tough position caring for our father. Unfortunately some Anderson family members have their visitation restricted from court orders, doctor(s), guardian and care staff(s) recommendations. With these restrictions, our fathers mental health has improved greatly. Most importantly, the care team at Terra Pointe has shown they sincerely care about our father's wellbeing. Not allowing family politics affect his lifestyle and healthcare. They all work together to ensure that he's happy / active member of their community - including the dining staff who willingly fulfill special requests for him! Posting on behalf of Sheryl......My Mom became a resident of Terra Pointe in October 2022. When we began this difficult journey, we were overwhelmed and emotional. Then we had our tour with Jennifer, and she instantly made us feel comfortable and put our worries at ease. The facility is beautiful, clean, welcoming, safe and the rooms are peaceful. The thing that stuck out for me and warmed my heart was as we toured Jennifer knew every resident's name and said something personal to them that made them each smile. I knew then that this was the place for my mom. Andrea and the staff are the absolute best caring, friendly, knowledgeable and greet our family by name. I love when I visit, and I see the residents and staff in the activities room laughing, smiling, dancing, and singing together. Most important they care for my mother as if she is a member of their own family. I would most definitely recommend Terra Pointe to anyone who has a loved one suffering from Dementia/Alzheimer's. New management and supervision now. Things at the facility have improved. I removed my previous one star reviews because the care and the attention to the patients has improved significantly with new management and overall changes. It is a lovely setting and the rooms are comfortable and home like.

Forever Grateful and I praise my Lord Jesus for Terra Pointe Memory Care, after taken more than a few tour's to other facilities, this place give me the peace that my husband will be well care. if you believe in ANGELE'S this place is full of them!!!! Caring for my husband for 7yrs of his dementia was a journey that only love , patience and kindness can endure. I thanks God for caregivers is a hard work and only special people can achieve it. I WILL GIVE THIS sPLACE A TEN!!!!

My mom has been a resident at Terra Pointe since September 2018. When my sister and I went for our first tour, we met with Eva and Claudia who was wonderful and caring and made us feel very comfortable. When we left, I immediatley said to my sister, "I want this place." The whole facility is well maintained and always clean. The staff is always friendly and caring and they do an outstanding job of taking care of everyone. I can't imagine how hard it must be. I would recommend Terra Pointe to anyone who has a loved one suffering from Alzheimers/Dementia. You will have peace of mind knowing that your loved one is in the right place! Also, they always have yummy cookies when you walk in and Jackson, the resident dog, is there to greet you on the weekdays when he is there!!

I have been at the community several times and this is the most caring staff one could ask for. The community always feels bright and clean and the residents always appear well cared for and happy. I have also had the opportunity to eat there and the chef and kitchen staff prepare the most delicious food in the world.

Not enough staff for residents. People left alone and lots of falls

Our mom was at Terra Point for 1 year, initially we were very happy with her care and the staff. She moved in shortly after they opened so the resident to caregiver ratio was amazing. We are a very hands on family and visit often. But as the number of residents increased the staff did not and we noticed it was a problem. One night in August we got a call from them saying our mom had gotten out of Terra Point through the fire door exit! This was not noticed by the staff for 2 hours and the alarm that should have gone off was not functioning. She was wandering down Union Hills which is a very busy road at dusk on Friday night. Luckily a neighbor saw her trip and fall at a church and called 911. The ambulance took her to the hospital as a 'Jane Doe' to treat her injury but mom could not tell the ER staff who she was. We are still unclear about the details but we were not notified about the incident for 2 hours. Mom is very healthy and wasn't badly hurt which is a huge blessing considering what could have happened. Then another incident happened in Jan. We got a call again in the evening saying mom had fallen and hit her head. Staff said we should come take her to hospital or they can call a non emergency transport for her. It turned out that she was in the tv room with many other residents and fell but there were no caregivers to tell us what happened. She broke her nose and her knee. She was taken to two hospitals and is now in rehab to learn how to walk again with a brace on her leg. This has been a nightmare and very costly with hospital bills and nighttime caregivers. The owners of the company are probably glad to get rid of mom. We are now looking for a new memory care to place her after her rehab. But this has costs us over twenty thousand dollars in our of pocket care and the owners have made no effort to compensate. Please look for another place for your loved one.

After my visit to Terra Pointe I am convinced this is the place where I will feel the most comfortable placing my mother when the time comes. I have looked around and Terra Pointe is undoubtedly the best choice around. Friendly, caring, qualified staff with great attitudes towards the care for the residents and thier needs really shows.

Terra Pointe is nothing less than phenomenal! Everyone is very caring, there is awesome new management, the facility is immaculate and welcoming. It is comforting knowing the staff at Terra Pointe give their clients/residents the care, attention and respect they need throughout the day and night.
