Glad my mom has found other housing. My mom has lived at several assisted living facilities over the past 8 years, and Caretel of Brighton Assisted Living is probably the worst. She was there for rehab (that side is good) and moved to their assisted living because I was told that no other assisted living could provide 2-person standing assist. They seem to be chronically understaffed, or perhaps the staff doesn't seem to work hard. They seem to spend a lot of time in front of the TV. There is a quick turn over in staff, which is an indication of poor management and other issues. The head nurse seems to be very uninvolved. Bathroom trips are once every 4 hours (I've learned it should be every 2 hours). The food is not great, the activities are limited and the group area is very small. 2/3 of my mom's clothes disappeared in her first 2 months there, with no concern from the nursing staff about finding them. Even the replacements disappeared at an alarming rate. Most times the clean laundry basket had only 1 or 2 of her items and the rest belonged to someone else. Never did get an answer as to why the laundry system was so inept. I started washing her clothes myself, and even with multiple signs in her room stating the family was doing her laundry, a few loads were still done there and returned with missing and incorrect items. After a few months, my mom began to look very unkept and she was always hungry. I was lucky to find a placement service that helped me find another facility that is so much better. My mom is now clean, happy and well fed. The difference in care, staff and food is shocking, especially for the same price. Don't stop here- keep looking at facilities. I'm glad we moved on.

Wonderful place for our dear aunt to rehabilitate. Staff is uniformly friendly and helpful, the food is fabulous and physical therapy and care is 2nd to none. We highly recommend this place for your loved ones.

Amy Philburn, the general manager, Beth Burdgick , director of customer experience, and all the staff members are amazing. I observed first hand their love and kindness with their residents, they treat each resident as their own family. I inspected the site for HUD and found the entire campus to be absolutely an immaculate place. The kitchen as to how careful they were with sanitation is beyond great and each floor was clean. Great and amazing place!!!

I was invited to attend a Bingo party for Mothers day. My mom and I both enjoyed the experience and the fun and friendly atmosphere with other Residents and their daughters. The activity staff enjoy their jobs and it shows all through the week too as they keep the Residents busy. Thank You All for what you do!

Having short staff affects the proper care of clients. The facility while nice, is dirty and doesn't appear to be regularly cleaned.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The nursing staff is very friendly and caring. My experience so far is that the nursing staff is qualified and hard working and accommodating. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The facility is modern and spacious.
