When the Redlands’s hospital say they were putting my mom here I was scared. Then they said new owners. Previous owners let the place get run down. The staff is wonderful. They are helpful, and very caring. Very happy my mom is being taking such good care.

August 2025
My review, is strictly for the part of the hospital my son is in. That being said, My son seems very happy with the place as happy as you can be, I guess going from a very active attractive mid 30's man who is now paralyzed from the neck down from a flue shot that gave him the worst kind of Gullian Barre Sydrome. Being very vulnerable with this diagnosis, it is crucial to have a great team helping your son and from all of my visits he is being cared for very well by the whole floor he is on. His nurses go above and beyond with him, helping him with all his medical needs and non medical needs as well. Like arranging his things in his room to just talking to him when he is down. Even the people who deliver his food. Helping with his drinks in his bottle with ice and soda. Even extra desserts. He is going on his 6th year there and we have had issues with somethings as everyone would expect from overworked bad sead nurses that at times were unbelievably cruel at times The staff took care of it but, I felt she should have been fired and she continues to work there still and I have herd her torment my son while we were on the phone. She would go past his room and hit it hard enough for me to hear it and say his last name in counts of 3. It makes me so mad and helpless when that happens. She is gone now but I'm sure that others will come and go just like her. Just remain vigilant and report them and even try to record their abuse. I hope this helps.

I was impressed with the care that my father received at Madison Grove. I appreciated all the nurses, staff, doctors, and other health professionals that treated my dad with compassion. He was not able to do anything for himself and he was treated with dignity and kindness. I'm especially grateful for Julie that went out of her way to make sure she understood my family's needs and what she could do to make my dad comfortable. Every time we came to visit, the nurses and health workers greeted us with a smile and always asked if there was anything they could get us. They knew that it wasn't just my father going through the most difficult time in his life. It was a comfort to know that when we were not there with him, that he would be in good hands.

My family would like to thank Madison Grove /Andrea and others for taking good care of my 96 year old mother. The staff was exceptional, nice and attentive. Although I must say as well the rooms/restrooms, linens need to be updated. Again the staff was wonderful!!! Again, Thank you all

My husband was at Kindred facility in perris on Dec 8th 2023 thru Jan 12th. He experience total neglect. They even had me sign papers to start end of life procedures. He was deteriorating. 1/12/24 he moved to Madison Grove. I am amazed at how kind and knowledgeable the staff is. The nurses are on top of things. my husband is their focus. They gave us hope. His severe bedsore is being treated by a wound care specialist. He is now off the ventilator, breathing on his own. OT AND PT are with him daily. Everyone works so very hard. He gets baths!!! They even do hair cuts. They treat him like a human being. He has started eating pureed foods. He is strong enough to use a speaking valve. I feel like the Employees of all levels, even the maintenance men have saved his life. They Treat him with respect! I will be forever grateful to them. You will always have a special place in my heart Thank you so much. This picture shows him texting. Keeping in touch with friends and Family

I stayed at Madison Grove for 2 weeks while receiving IV antibiotics. I was reluctant going there but it would have been too much on my mom. All the staff was pleasant and helpful. I'm a quadriplegic and eventough I wasn't there for rehab, I still had Occupational and Physical therapy. The best place is always to be home but if I had to be in a facility, it would be Madison Grove.

While the building may be dated they seem to constantly be doing renovations. It’s a slow process but they’re definitely working on it and it’s turning in to quite the up to date building. I can’t say enough about Hazel the social services lady. She’s so amazing with my Grandma and her doors always open whenever I have any questions. The place we moved Grandma from had a very, for lack of a better word, bland, activities calendar. The activities people are especially helpful when I can’t make it out to see Grandma and they set up a FaceTime for us. I know nursing homes get a bad rap and they’ve had a change in management here but my experiences with them have always been positive and with a quick response. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to have their loved spend some time at.

My mom was here for a while, I really liked this facility for my mom and wanted to share my experience. I didn't really know what to expect, I always said I wanted my mom to stay at home no matter what but after her accident I really couldn't care for her as much as she needed. Madison grove helped me to feel better about her going somewhere to get better and be able to come home again. I was nervous at first, but I had a lot of communication from different people in the building that made me feel more secure in her being there. I really want to give a shout out to the rehab team they were always taking their time with her to make sure she didn't feel rushed in her exercises and had the same goal which was for her to get better and improve they definitely cared for her success and didn't treat her like just another box to check. My mom wanted to get better and had realistic goals and the team there helped her to get to those goals.

When I first went to Madison Grove to tour my first thoughts from the outside and lobby , you could tell it was being restored and has the potential of being beautiful. You could tell they have been working hard. As I was taken on a tour looking for a place for our mom at first I thought No. I'm not going to do this. The rooms are old and need care, the lunch area needs a redo. I kept thinking this place has great potential. It's an old I'm sure historic place. Then I was explained they had changed names and it will take a while but work is being done room by room. The rooms that have been redone are really nice It's going to take a bit and money to complete. I noticed they have a lot of staff, therapist, CNA's, Nurses. The patients were clean and rooms and bedding cleaned daily. I did visit a few times prior to deciding to temporarily move our mom. I just wanted to make sure what I saw 1 day would be the same every day. I did move our mom and at first I was only going to give it a try for 30 days. After our mom was moved I always visit often and at various times. I learned a valuable lesson. NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. While it's currently not the most beautiful place ( however they are working on restoration) the staff is amazing. So friendly, will do answer any question any time of day either in person or on the phone. The patients are clean, beds are changed daily. They spend the time to get to know the patients and visit with them. It's not a rush from room to room. The social worker Hazel is wonderful. Always stopping by just making sure things are OK. Her door is always open for questions. Our mom was there 7 months until she passed away at 89. The nurses and CNAs got to know her and I. They knew our mom on a personal level , feeding her , singing with her. Our mom always told them thank you. And they knew me when i came to visit any time of the day or evening. When she passed one by one came in saying how sorry they were hugging and crying. All I can say is, they really care. It's a great staff who really cares for the people there and only want the best for each person. If I had it to do over again I would! Thank you Madison Grove and especially the staff for making it a home a welcoming place. If the restoration when fully completed is anything like the staff it will be 5 stars.
