I am a little conflicted with what to rate VibraLife but I am going with a little lower than middle of the road. There were several staff members that were very accommodating and several OT & PT that were encouraging. One concern was with wait times (45 min to go to the bathroom or other services). It really didn't appear that they were full as many rooms only had 1 person. My largest concern was that my brother who was admitted was discharged when he was really not ready. When we went home he was unable to even get in bed. We had to call the ambulance because he fell and could not get up. When I called to talk with somebody at VibraLife they told me there was nothing they can do. They really did nothing to help me or no real suggestions. It was really disappointing that they were not there at our time of need.

I checked out Vibralife Mechanicsburg as an option for my father that lives in that area and I'll admit, after visiting a few other options - this place is clean and the staff seem to really be putting focus on the level of care. I have a few weeks to make a decision and they're at the top of my list!!

Vibra Life After seeing so many negative reviews prior to 2024, I was prompted to explain my experience at Vibra Life in the rehab unit. There have been administrative changes in the nursing staff and I was impressed with all those I talked with and received assistance from. I had to be there for 5 weeks after being in the hospital, I needed medical care as well as physical and occupational therapy. Iwas able to observe all phases of aid and care including PT and OT staff, as well as all caregivers. Overall my stay and recovery were very good! We can all find things to complain about in this situation, but the satisfaction outweighs any dissatisfaction with minor issues. My time there was most beneficial to my health and needs. In February my grandpa needed urgent surgery for a serious spinal abscess. This was a hard time for him because he is a very holistic and strong man. He was informed that he needed rehab and IV antibiotics for 6 weeks postop. He chose Vibralife partly because I am an RN there. He was very pleased with the therapy group who gave him occupational and physical therapy. He was also impressed with the nursing staff who cared for him 24 hours a day. He was able to gain his strength back to first stand, then walk with a walker and eventually walk with a cane. He was able to go home this past Sunday to his wife. Having to go to rehab for weeks is hard enough but he made friends and was able to feel comfortable at Vibra while he was here. The care he received while here was exceptional and I'm glad that he went to a place that didn't stick him in a room and forget about him. I'm glad the staff encouraged him to be independent while also making sure he was safe. Thank you to the staff of Vibra life for all that you do! Such a great team to have taking care of a loved one, as well as a great team to work with.

My father was admitted once he was diagnosed with non treatable cancer. He spent his final days at Vibralife. The CNAs really cared about him. Even Matthew of Maintenance was friendly and visited my father between tasks. Marie, Ness, Malasia, Melody were among the stellar caregivers but I could list many more. Every front desk receptionist was welcoming. My only issue was I never spoke with the facility doctor or Nurse practionioner and I didnt think hospice recommendations were carried out timely but as far as nursing cleanliness and overall atmosphere the staff was stellar and Vibra should be praised for the care they gave my fath

My father did his rehab at VibraLife after a fall and adrenal tumor diagnosis that caused a week stay in the hospital. VibraLife nursing was great and very caring. Rehab therapy did a great job helping him to regain mobility. Highly recommend

My mother recently came to Vibralife after a 10 day hospital stay. She was 93 years old. Unfortunately, after only 3 days she passed quite suddenly. I cannot say how much I appreciated the staff that cared for her during this time. I knew in my heart that she could never " go back to her own home" and I believe my mother did as well. The nurses, nurses aides, Ellen the physical therapist, and Huwar Sayed the Nurse Practitioner, went above and beyond to care for my mother and to help me with her transition. They were comforting, caring, consoling and above all "honest" with me regarding my mother. I cannot thank them all enough for everything they did!

My grandfather was a patient at VibraLife for a little over 2 weeks. He was not in the greatest condition coming from the hospital, but my family trusted that the staff here would be able to assist in his recovery. I want to personally thank the entire team for their generosity, support and excellent care that they provided during this time. My brother was a patient at Vibralife for over 2 weeks and had a great experience. He and my family felt included in the care and treated with respect. The nurses and therapy team were responsive and thorough and kept me informed as his POA. Jackie, from the authorization office was especially amazing as she worked diligently to obtain the care my brother needed. She definately went the extra mile. I cannot begin to say enough about the excellent service Vibra Life gave to my family. My mother was there as part of end of life compassionate care. She had a very difficult year in a home in MD. When we were able to get her to PA at Vibra Life they treated her with dignity and respect. The staff went above and beyond to care for her as well as my sister and I as we were going through a very hard time. Mom passed last Thursday they way she wanted to with her girls by her side. Thank you John and staff you are a gift in this world.

My mother went to VibraLife for gentle physical therapy because of her advanced age.(96) Unfortunately her health was failing. I cannot say enough about the kindness and respect that she was shown. When she was moved to comfort care, the care she received could not have been better. I can't say enough good things about this, beautiful facility and its caring, upbeat staff. My mom passed away at VibraLife today, one day short of her 97th birthday. They showed us love and kindness to the end of her life, leaving me with absolutely no regrets.

I recently had to put my 92 year old father in rehab after a 2 week stay in the hospital. Back in 2014 he went into Vibra Mechanicsburg after a similar situation. At that time the facility was almost new and we had a very positive experience. At that time the staff was great, food excellent and the care exceeded my expectations. Now 6 years later, since I had such a good experience before when the question of where to place him I instantly thought of Vibra. When we got there this time I found the place to be spotlessly clean and very well run. The transition from hospital to Vibra was handled by the folks at Vibra taking that stress from me. After we got my father settled the Director scheduled a meeting with me where she had all the department heads together so we could discuss my father's condition, rehab schedule, medications, and mostly what I could expect. Setting those expectations allows me to understand how Vibra operates and rest easy knowing he is getting great care. The food is at the same high level I found 6 years ago and my father mentions that regularly. So far I have found the level of care very good at every level. Everyone there seems to have a genuine attitude of providing top level service and care. I am looking to move him into their personal care unit so he can enjoy a much better level of care and safety then I could provide during the time he was living with me at my home. Bottom line, they made this a much easier transition than I thought and the worries about his care are much less now that I know he is in a beautiful place.

My experience at VibraLife was not particularly good. The day shift was great, but the nigh shift was terrible. There was one night that i sat on the bed pan for forty five minutes after I rung the bell that I was through and another night I was on it for one and a half hours after ringing my bell. Also it took the night shift up to forty five minutes to answer a call for a bed pan causing accidents in the bed. The food at times was good and at other times not so good.

My mother has now been a resident in personal care for one month, after having spent 3 weeks in the skilled unit. We could not be happier with the wonderful, caring staff who work on her behalf every single day. My family and I have complete confidence that, when we are not with her, she is in capable and compassionate hands.

I was here for 5 weeks and the care was outstanding. All the staff did everything they could to make me comfortable and getwell. I cannot say enough for this facility. The food was great and the physical therapy was top-notch. You would be very happy with this place. I was very pleased and my family was also with the care I received here.

I recently toured this facility on behalf of my sister who potentially would need rehab post surgery. This facility was immaculate in its physical plant presentation. My tour was thorough and provided an excellent presentation of what services would be provided. I was particularly impressed that my tour was with the Executive Director for the facility. She was welcoming, engaging, and receptive to questions. As with any facility, there may not be perfection but I could tell that the Exedutive Director strives for excellence in care, commitment, staff service, and a personalized response to each patient and their family. I recommended this facility to my sister for her rehab needs.

This place is amazing, the nursing staff was great and therapy made things happen. I am able to go home to care for myself. The food is hands down the best rehab food I have ever had. This ace is the best of the Westshore.

I absolutely love where I work. The passion and care that is in myself and my co-workers for the patients/residents and other co-workers is by far the greatest I have ever seen at a rehabilitation center! There is nothing the administration wouldn't do to ensure a positive and caring environment not only for the staff but for the patients as well! Kudos to the whole Administration team for working towards a common goal...patient satisfaction, safety and well-being!

My dad has been at VibraLife several times and he is a very difficult patient to deal with. I commend the staff for their patience and care. They met with family on several occasions to discuss plans for him moving forward and always seemed to be on top of things. The PT is very good and the facility is clean.
