Just want to share the photo of this pretty pudding served to a resident who could not see. Kudos to Ventana Winds for such an amazing dining and kitchen staff who still provide the best service to the residents even if the residents themselves may not be able to see the care, the residents can feel the effort the staff do. So we hope the administration can recognize their staffs work and provide them with more support. If this is how well they are despite being understaffed, the more they can continue such excellent work when they are not overworked.

We moved our mother into memory care at Ventana Winds last October. Heather, Dawn, and Mike were very helpful in making the transition from another facility in the Valley. The staff has been very supportive of our mother and very responsive to me and my family when we have had questions or issues. We recently had a couple of issues that were a concern but both Heather and Mike were quick to make the issues right and made changes to some of the ways they do business, which will positively impact other residents. Our mother historically has not been the easiest person to care for but in a recent conversation with her she said she really likes Ventana Winds, the people are good to her, they take good care of her, and she feels like it is home. That says volumes about the staff—who are angels in my book as it is a gift to be able to care for elderly memory residents. Thank you for sharing your gifts with our loved ones.

Food is great...huge nice soundproof room with kitchen and large patio. Many activities to dive into. The Art Class with Kevin is amazing. A new ED with a kind heart is working to make everything better. Best place for the $!

Wow! Really loving everything about Ventana Winds so far! The Marketing Consultant, Dawn, is an absolute Angel & miracle worker! She was very quick to respond to any questions I had and she was extremely helpful during the process. I brought my parents to meet Dawn and had a great tour of the facility and had a very tasty lunch. They were going through a remodel while we were touring/moving in and it was really nice to see the difference of the before and after. Many people said hello and told us how they like living there. All of the staff is extremely helpful during the move-in process. Nothing but great things to say here. Parents are now living there and continue to say how delicious the food is, and all the nice people they continue to meet. Maintenance was really helpful during the move-in process. But honestly, every business should have their own version of a Dawn working for them. She is such a gem!

My mother and step-dad lived here years ago. They loved it. I spent a lot of time there at that time, and I'm guessing it's still a very well run business. Don't be swayed by things you read online. Much of it isn't accurate. Also, they have a memory care area if needed. Good people.

I am currently employed with Ventana Winds as Activities Director. I absolutely love this place and our residents. The staff is very friendly and professional. We have so much fun, we strive to have amazing activities for the residents to participate in. From canvas painting to cooking class, board games and jumbo games, nature walks and current events. There is never a boring day here. We've recently started a garden club and will soon have a harvest of rich organic veggies, not to mention a swimming club, and weekly bus outings to Wal-mart. Most of our ladies love manicure Monday's and showing off their beautiful gel nails, with flower designs. My priority is the residents and assuring they have something fun and exciting to participate in daily. This is definitely an exciting place to work and we always have so much fun. 🙂

I used to work here along with my three daughters Vantana Winds is a good place to be. all the med techs all the caregivers are good people all the residents are good so when it came time to put my mother-in-law somewhere she needed help in care with.we put her in Vantana Winds I no longer work there because I take care of my daughter at home but we had to have help with my mother-in-law and Vantana Winds is a very good place to be and she loves it there she has made new friends. She don't have to worry about anything. They are one big family there..

What a wonderful place for my Mom to live...there are many activities that she likes and she definitely loves the outings. Mom was hesitant at first to make this life change, however staff helped her make this transition so smooth for her. Thank You Ventana Winds

I worked for this faciliry for 7 yrs off and on. Its a nice place i loved each and every resident there. My family....... Very caring and loving staff..... Not always is it perfect but the employees try there hardest too meet the needs of all residents.

I lived at ventana winds and loved it. The staff was great the food was good I met alot of great friends. My name is randy and mark andi have lived at ventana winds almost 10 years we love it the rooms are spacious the staff is great the executive director is always available and the food is so good. I go and visit my friend there at Ventana Winds and I must say that they are really good there. They get three meals a day and 24 hours of caregivers there. It also nice that there is a med tech on duty to give them there medicine so they don't have to worry about it. They don't have to worry about their laundry or their linens as it is taken care of. The apartment gets clean once a week.
