I was visiting my friend and we had lunch in your dining room. I was looking forward to a greek gyro salad, however I was very disappointed when I started to eat. The meat was ground through pressed back together "stuff" that tasted similar to gyro meat served with iceberg lettuce, every once in a while there was a little piece of tomato and some onions and olives. The dressing was terrible. No pita bread, not even a cracker. I was really questioning the nutritional value of that meal! For the money you charge your residents, that was a very poor lunch.

My stepfather transitioned from assisted-living and another facility to memory care here at the Watermark in Oro Valley. I had expected a tremendous amount of stress and the staff here at Watermark in Oro Valley made the transition seamless and easy. It was wonderful. Karen was incredible. Terry was too. I'm so happy I chose this facility for my stepfather. I look forward to seeing him flourish, and I know he's in good hands with the amazing staff .

After visiting and analyzing ten facilities, my wife made the decision, and recently moved into the Memory Care unit at Watermark at Oro Valley. We are both pleased with the care and attention she is receiving. Admittedly, the transition has not always been easy, but all the Care Givers and Med Techs have invested the time and energy to ensure that she would ultimately feel comfortable and well cared for in her new environment. We have found the Memory Care management and Sales folks to communicate well and to be open to questions or suggestions. We chose wisely!

I come in twice a week typically and I would like to say it's Very clean, staff is very attentive. Cheery environment as soon as you walk in. Residents I run into are always smiling and happy! Staff/residents seem to be very content with one another, lots of engagement and fun outdoor activities planned for residents. April (Front Desk) is always smiling from the moment I walk in to when I leave mid day. She wears her smile and positive attitude brilliantly!

One month in after moving my Mom to the memory care unit at Watermark Oro Valley, I must admit that I am very impressed with all aspects of her care there. All staff there are very pleasant and helpful. Concerted efforts are made to get her out of her room to participate in the many activities they provide. We moved my parents here at the end of August 2023 and couldn't be happier. They love the food, the staff has been superb, and the entertainment director keeps them busy with activities and entertainment. We feel very good about choosing Watermark. Just for a follow up, we have been so happy with the care my parents have received at Watermark Oro Valley that we are moving my sister in to Watermark with her own room right next to my parents. I know she is going to be very happy there as well. The staff is superb!

Alma and activities did an amazing job for mother's day when I walked into the dinning room it was filled with elegance and beauty it took my breath away. The china was absolutely beautiful and different with each setting. The food was like we were in an another world having a tea party. When you enter the community you see a great smiling face who makes everything thing bright and willing to help you. You definitely had to be there to experience how wonderful mother's day was and April smile. Thank you Alma for making are mother's day very special.

4 words ... Breath of Fresh Air! After my Dad was diagnosed with dementia I had zero idea of where to start to help him stay safe and taken care of after our Dr told us he can no longer live at home alone. We tried a small 10 resident home first and it was disorganized, had strange visiting hours and my Dad was not doing well there so we decided to move him to Watermark and soooo glad we did. From my first meeting with Karen, I knew we found the right place. The team over there are amazing, patient and extremely kind. Front desk staff, med staff, cleaning staff and food team are extremely thoughtful, considerate and very helpful. This facility is a Godsend! Thank you Watermark!

I just wanted to commend Karen (the Sales Director) for her valuable advice when I called from Florida to ask about what should be the quality of care in a memory care unit. My Mother is in one here in Florida and I am very concerned that she is not receiving adequate care for her severe dementia issues. Karen was able to put me on a path to help the facility's staff members be aware of her daily needs and take steps to improve her situation. Thanks again, Karen!!

The staff at Watermark do a beautiful job looking after the residents and patients. The staff are incredibly caring and conscientious, and do an excellent job coordinating with families and caregivers. the food is great, there's abundant activities for residents, and it really is home away from home. My father became a resident of Watermark at Oro Valley when his Alzheimer's was advancing and my siblings and I could no longer provide him with the care and socialization he required. The staff went above and beyond to make sure his medical and dietary needs were met, showed him great compassion, and were tremendous communicators with us, his children. Watermark Oro Valley had been recently renovated when my husband moved in last March. They have an excellent, caring staff and offer lots of activities. Watermark is not a huge facility this making it easy for my husband to adapt. His one bedroom apartment is quite spacious with a full size fridge, washer/dryer, lots of storage and a gorgeous view of Pusch Ridge. And, it's only 5 minutes away from me.

Our experience from the moment we talked to Watermark. Specifically, Karen and Terry they were above and beyond in the best service you can ask for! During a difficult and quick move in timeframe we faced they worked hard with us to get it all done. They helped anyway they could. Even outside of their working hours texting and calls with answering our questions. More important our family member felt so welcomed. The whole staff even the Watermark Chef- they all welcomed us at the door upon arrival and literally rolled out a red carpet! They have so many events every week and the people working there that just care so much for everyone living at Watermark. Watermark is very clean, inviting. We looked into a couple other homes, this one really met and exceeded all our expectations. The nurses, office staff, and the food staff are all very friendly. The dining options are amazing and unheard of. While they have a weekly menu, if you don't like the daily special, there are many other options to choose instead-including Allday breakfast available! Watermark has beautiful views with mountains just north of the facility, lots of outdoor seating.

On Wednesday, June 21st, 2023 at 1:35 p.m. I was heading North on Oracle and had stopped at the light on Ina, when the light turned green to go the Watermark van turned left ( going East) running the red light & fast! I called the community to report the wreckless driver of the van. I asked to speak with the Director but the receptionist asked if I wanted the drivers supervisor and said yes. Left voicemail for the Community Life Director. Received a return call from the Executive Director today. Assured that he would look into the matter as the safety of their residents was a priority for them as well. Thank you for responding back to my concern.
