Jim and Marisa helped us along the way to make this the fastest and easiest way on this new adventure. I am extremely pleased with the Watermark facility and staff. The entry looks like the lobby of an upscale hotel. Staff are well trained, kind, and show great respect to the residents. The dining room lends a nice atmosphere to eating meals. There seems to be an abundance of daily activities for those who are interested. Overall, this was a good choice for my husband.

I checked my wife into Watermark At Oro Valley Memory Care which is the most difficult thing I have ever had to do. I have found the entire staff to be compassionate, loving, patient, careful, dedicated, and loyal to the task of ensuring the ultimate safety and we'll being of the residents. They go out of their way to help with any given situation. From individual resident's dietary needs to sleeping patterns to social activities they treat each one as family and adapt every way possible to obtain happiness. I have received much needed help and advice on how I can better manage myself when dealing with the effects of this dreaded disease on me. And I receive the warmest of hugs when I need one.

I would like to commend Sonia Cruz from Watermark for the special care she provided to my mother last week. It should be noted that we had reviewed the Watermark but had not yet made a decision on placement. Sonia, learning of our difficulty in administering mom's RX that the Hospital sent home with little or no instructions, volunteered to help out. Sonia was able to come to our home and straighten out the mess, write clear instructions, and take her vitals. We cannot say enough about her professionalism, knowledge, caring, and reassurance to our family. Further, she performed all these tasks on her own time without compensation. If this is an indication of the quality of service & staffing at The Watermark at Oro Valley, we look forward to working with a World-Class Company.

We visited Watermark Oro Valley on Sunday 2-15-2026, our car overheated in the parking lot. As we were waiting a man i think his name was Nigel, a large man with glasses and lots of tattoos. He came walking out and greeted us asking if everything was ok. We told him our car was overheating and he said how can he help. We needed to put radiator fluid in our car. He waited with us for over a hour to help. We asked him multiple time don't you have somewhere to be, he was clearly going home for the day he had keys in hand his tool bag. He responded yes right here helping you get back on the road. After he added the fluids we asked him if there was anything we could do for him. He said Nope welcome to Watermark oro valley the best place in the world to live, here it's just friends helping friends. Me and my wife were taken back, most people these days won't lift a finger for anyone. We asked him why he chose to help us? He said, this is just what I do i love my job and get to help his community any chance I get. He even went back into the building to get us cups of water. I guess the point of this post is to let people know that there are still good hearted helping people at there. Clearly they all work at Watermark oro valley. When it becomes time for us to look for a retirement community this will be at the top of my list just because of him. Thank you again for helping us get back on the road you are a blessing. Hope to see you again the gentlemen with all the tattoos!

Let me start by saying the staff here are amazing. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. There is one of the most genuine and kind man that's works there in the maintenance department the way he talks to people and people that live there will melt your heart! My husband is memory care at Watermark Oro Valley, and I can't image a residence with better care. He is a fall risk, and the care staff are watchful, yet considerate about his privacy. He is still getting acclimated to Watermark, but is starting to feel more at home. Oh, and the meals are wonderful.

I was fortunate to be able to visit for 9 days and share meals with Dad. The staff were caring and helpful throughout and his fellow residents were friendly as well. The food and facilities were outstanding as well. After seeing Dad's situation firsthand for a fairly lengthy visit I can say that I have full confidence that The Watermark at Oro Valley was a great place for his transition from home to an assisted living environment. Our visit with the staff and faculty blew us away. The kindness and services amazed us. It was a wonderful experience that helped assuaged our fears about placing our parent in a memory care unit. The facility is spotless and modern. The services are top-notch. We could instantly tell that the patients were being well provided for. What was a fear about moving Mom into a facility became a relief once we toured the building. Karen addressed all our concerns, as well as many issues that we didn’t consider. The Watermark is a beacon of light for our family, and we trust them to provide the highest quality of life our loved one deserves. We’re so happy to have reached out to Karen when we did. The tough decision we were dreading now is a simple choice for the next chapter in Mom’s life.

Our loved one has been living at The Watermark at Oro Valley for nearly a year. The personnel at the facility are fabulous. In particular April always makes the effort to be warm and kind to our loved one and she always greets us by name when we visit. She is pleasant and cheerful and makes us especially glad that we chose this location for our loved one’s care and security.

I was visiting my friend and we had lunch in your dining room. I was looking forward to a greek gyro salad, however I was very disappointed when I started to eat. The meat was ground through pressed back together "stuff" that tasted similar to gyro meat served with iceberg lettuce, every once in a while there was a little piece of tomato and some onions and olives. The dressing was terrible. No pita bread, not even a cracker. I was really questioning the nutritional value of that meal! For the money you charge your residents, that was a very poor lunch.

My stepfather transitioned from assisted-living and another facility to memory care here at the Watermark in Oro Valley. I had expected a tremendous amount of stress and the staff here at Watermark in Oro Valley made the transition seamless and easy. It was wonderful. Karen was incredible. Terry was too. After visiting and analyzing ten facilities, my wife made the decision, and recently moved into the Memory Care unit at Watermark at Oro Valley. We are both pleased with the care and attention she is receiving. Admittedly, the transition has not always been easy, but all the Care Givers and Med Techs have invested the time and energy to ensure that she would ultimately feel comfortable and well cared for in her new environment. We have found the Memory Care management and Sales folks to communicate well and to be open to questions or suggestions. We chose wisely!

One month in after moving my Mom to the memory care unit at Watermark Oro Valley, I must admit that I am very impressed with all aspects of her care there. All staff there are very pleasant and helpful. Concerted efforts are made to get her out of her room to participate in the many activities they provide. Alma and activities did an amazing job for mother's day when I walked into the dinning room it was filled with elegance and beauty it took my breath away. The china was absolutely beautiful and different with each setting. The food was like we were in an another world having a tea party. We moved my parents here at the end of August 2023 and couldn’t be happier. They love the food, the staff has been superb, and the entertainment director keeps them busy with activities and entertainment. We feel very good about choosing Watermark. Just for a follow up, we have been so happy with the care my parents have received at Watermark Oro Valley that we are moving my sister in to Watermark with her own room right next to my parents. I know she is going to be very happy there as well. The staff is superb!

I come in twice a week typically and I would like to say it’s Very clean, staff is very attentive. Cheery environment as soon as you walk in. Residents I run into are always smiling and happy! Staff/residents seem to be very content with one another, lots of engagement and fun outdoor activities planned for residents. April (Front Desk) is always smiling from the moment I walk in to when I leave mid day. She wears her smile and positive attitude brilliantly!

I just wanted to commend Karen (the Sales Director) for her valuable advice when I called from Florida to ask about what should be the quality of care in a memory care unit. My Mother is in one here in Florida and I am very concerned that she is not receiving adequate care for her severe dementia issues. My father became a resident of Watermark at Oro Valley when his Alzheimer's was advancing and my siblings and I could no longer provide him with the care and socialization he required. The staff went above and beyond to make sure his medical and dietary needs were met, showed him great compassion, and were tremendous communicators with us, his children. Watermark Oro Valley had been recently renovated when my husband moved in last March. They have an excellent, caring staff and offer lots of activities. Watermark is not a huge facility this making it easy for my husband to adapt. His one bedroom apartment is quite spacious with a full size fridge, washer/dryer, lots of storage and a gorgeous view of Pusch Ridge. And, it’s only 5 minutes away from me.

Our experience from the moment we talked to Watermark. Specifically, Karen and Terry they were above and beyond in the best service you can ask for! During a difficult and quick move in timeframe we faced they worked hard with us to get it all done. They helped anyway they could. Even outside of their working hours texting and calls with answering our questions. More important our family member felt so welcomed. The whole staff even the Watermark Chef- they all welcomed us at the door upon arrival and literally rolled out a red carpet! They have so many events every week and the people working there that just care so much for everyone living at Watermark. Watermark is very clean, inviting. We looked into a couple other homes, this one really met and exceeded all our expectations. The nurses, office staff, and the food staff are all very friendly. The dining options are amazing and unheard of. While they have a weekly menu, if you don't like the daily special, there are many other options to choose instead-including Allday breakfast available! Watermark has beautiful views with mountains just north of the facility, lots of outdoor seating.

On Wednesday, June 21st, 2023 at 1:35 p.m. I was heading North on Oracle and had stopped at the light on Ina, when the light turned green to go the Watermark van turned left ( going East) running the red light & fast! I called the community to report the wreckless driver of the van. I asked to speak with the Director but the receptionist asked if I wanted the drivers supervisor and said yes. Left voicemail for the Community Life Director. Received a return call from the Executive Director today. Assured that he would look into the matter as the safety of their residents was a priority for them as well. Thank you for responding back to my concern.
