I have been to dozens of independent and assisted living places as a healthcare worker and this has been one of the best. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and appear well treated. The residents are well cared for and care is done in a timely fashion. The place seems well staffed and there are lots of activities. Dana the manager of the memory care unit gets a special shoutout for being attentive and present. She spends time on the floor just checking in on residents and staff in between being productiv

Our 2 1/2 year experience with the Summit was a blessing from start to finish. From the Director to the kitchen staff they have top notch employees. They are kind, and genuinely interested in how you are doing and address any concerns you have. My Mother was in the Memory care building but was able to spend her time on the Assisted living side along with the help of private care team. The Summit provides so many wonderful family activities and opportunities to come together with your loved ones. They go above and beyond when it comes to making you feel welcome. We had phenomenal Med techs on the Memory care side that went about and beyond for my Mother. They have a Wonderful Chef and kitchen Director who actually cares about the quality of the food. An abundance of options and constant fun changes to the menu. We appreciated that as a family as it's very important to the residents to have a good dining experience and enjoy the food they look forward to each day. We became very close with the activity staff and participated in all the things that they did. You can tell they love their jobs and they love the residents. It was a true blessing having Scott, Ginger and the wonderful reception team making sure things were going well and if they weren't they responded quickly with solutions. They became like family in a short time. I will enjoy visiting and staying in touch with the current residents we loved getting to know and all the staff we adore. Thank you for your kindness and helpfulness during a difficult Alzheimer's journey for our Family.

The Summit is a wonderful facility for my Mom, she loves it and is well taken care of. The process of moving her in and getting settled was easy and painless. There are a multitude of activities for her to participate in. It has taken a huge burden off our family knowing that she is happy and thriving.

I moved in, in October I love it here. They cook your food, wash your clothes, wash and make your bed, clean your room. What is not to like, every one is super friendly and helpful.

We moved my dad to The Summit about 1 1/2 years ago. Best decision we ever made. And he will agree. The Summit is modern, very clean and run professionally with so much compassion, love and employees eager to please. Dad loves his eggs Benedict for breakfast most mornings and the delicious soups made daily. The Summit has taken so much pressure off me and I know my Dad is much happier there than living with me.

In March, I realized it was time for my Mom to have additional help each day. This was a very difficult decision for both of us. I visited many facilities. We narrowed it down to two facilities. I took my mom to The Summit and then to a second facility. She would not even get out of the car and said she only wanted to stay at The Summit because she loved how it felt to her. Ginger and her team are simply amazing. Ginger was so kind and helpful and helped me with the entire process. Everyone I worked with was simply outstanding from the front desk to the facility people to the nurses and the kitchen staff. My mother loved her stay at The Summit. Sadly, in June, my Mom suffered a major stroke. We were not sure what to do. Ginger assured us that we could be helped there by the team. My Mom had 24 hour care with the kindest medical professionals we've ever experienced. They were right there with my wife and I when my Mom passed a week after her stroke. To those of you considering facility for a parent or a loved one, I give The Summit my highest recommendation possible. Simply reach out to Ginger and she will help you navigate the entire process. My only regret is that I didn't move my Mom into their facility five years earlier. I didn't realize there was a quality facility available, like The Summit.

We just came from the Summit at Sunland Springs, they were hosting a trunk or treat and it was so amazing! Everyone there was so happy, helpful, smiling, and just incredibly sweet to my kids! The residents were all all smiling ear to ear seeing all the kids dressed up. This place just had a really great, positive vibe and we're so glad we went to check it out

The Summit at Sunland Springs has been a godsend to both my father and myself. The entire staff welcomed my Dad with open arms. Everyone is kind, caring, attentive and make him feel like he is their top priority. They call him by name and love him as if he were their own father. In addition, the staff strives to maintain a positive relationship with me. I feel I can contact the Director, the Heath Service Director, the Med Techs, Office staff, etc. with any question or concern at any given time and I know they will care and follow through. They in-turn efficiently advise me of any concerns they have. I never worry about Dad's care. The Summit constantly organize fun activities, invite many outsiders to entertain and consistently create a positive atmosphere as they celebrate holidays, birthdays and special occasions with parties and barbecues. Residents' families are most always included. In addition, residents receive a daily schedule of events. Movies are shown in their theater twice daily and the Event Coordinators offer craft classes, puzzles, exercise classes and a variety of activities for those who live there. Several times a month the Summit bus takes residents site seeing or shopping. The facility is kept beautiful and is always spotlessly clean. The food is is good and the dining staff offer a nice variety of meals.

The owners are often present and genuinely caring, the leadership is incredibly supportive and are focused on the best ways to provide a positive, caring, and enjoyable environment for every resident. We moved my in-laws in two months ago and we couldn't be more pleased. The facility itself is very clean, has a variety of wonderful spaces, and is well designed for people of all physical abilities. The staff members are wonderful. From the sales staff, to the nursing staff, to the kitchen staff, to the medical staff, and front desk staff, you will not find a more caring and compassionate group of people. They all know my in-laws personally, and address us by name when we visit. They truly value a personal connection with their tenants. The amenities are also incredible. The food is delicious and there's always a nice variety. There are lots of activities, lots of outings, and numerous celebrations and events that family members are welcome to attend. If you are looking for a place for yourself or for your loved one, visit The Summit once and you'll be sold. We couldn't be happier with our choice.

We love The Summit! Mom moved there about 1 1/2 years ago and it has been a wonderful experience. She was very nervous about leaving her home and neighborhood but The Summit staff reached out and made her feel loved. They went out of their way to help her with what she needed when she moved in, and they have continued to follow up, making sure she is comfortable. The residents are very friendly and Mom has made several new friends. I hardly ever find her at home, as she is always out playing the grand piano, or playing games or just visiting over dinner. My father-in-law is in an assisted living place in another state and the difference between that one and The Summit have been day and night. We highly recommend The Summit and enjoy going there to participate in all the activities! Thank you Scott, Lori, Ginger, Tia, Jo, Zarina, Kim, Don, Bill, Chelsea..the list goes on and on.

During an extremely difficult time amidst COVID protocols, a death in the family, and a mother with Dementia, The Summit at Sunland became our pilot boat. Ginger, in sales, spent hours helping me with tours and plans, and information before the move. She guided me through the transfer trauma, and celebrates with me now that my mother is a thriving member of the Summit community. Lori, the outreach director, is dedicated to enhancing each resident's life by scheduling events, some fun and some necessary, such as facility vaccination clinics. Her work weaves staff and residents together into a close-knit community. Scott, the head of maintenance at the time, hung Mom's pictures and wall clock. He made sure her studio was 110% perfect. Now as the executive director, Scott is a hands-on leader. He leads with a smile, positive spirits, and even an occasional hula dance. I love spending time at The Summit, but most importantly, my mother is involved and content in her community. It's the perfect place for her to age gracefully.

The decision to put a loved one into an assisted living facility is one that is filled with fear, anxiety, trepidation, and of course some degree of sadness. These feelings are for both you the person looking for a place and of course, the loved one who needs a place to call home. The team at The Summit were incredibly helpful and understanding when I had to go through that part of the process with my mother a little over a year ago. I was extremely impressed with the level of care and compassion my mother received for her time at The Summit. I could go on about the wonderful facility itself and the caring individuals there. My parting thoughts would be to visit them. Talk to them and see if they are a fit for your family. They really were a blessing to me.

The Summit is an amazing community! The building and grounds are beautiful, and you can really tell how much all the staff genuinely care about each of their residents. I had the opportunity to work there for 2.5 years and got to know the leadership and ownership teams. The Summit is locally and family owned and they all go above and beyond for their residents and their families every day! I would hands down, no-questions-asked moved any one of my loved ones here without hesitation and go to bed at night knowing they were well loved and cared for.

The Summit is a clean, uplifting and beautifully designed facility with a caring and attentive staff. My mother lived there for nearly 7 months before her passing. I am grateful that she lived her last months in a place that I would choose for myself or any other member of my family. We had confidence that my mom was receiving the appropriate attention and care she needed which took pressure off of me to be there constantly. All of their care is custom built for your individual needs. I found the cost to be very reasonable especially after visiting many facilities that were not near the quality of the Summit. Other positive features that my mother enjoyed: 1) Delicious meals made fresh daily, 2) diverse activities for all levels of ability, 3) a laundry facility on each floor 4) excellent housekeeping service, 5) in-house hair salon 6) daily movies with fresh popcorn in their theatre and 7) near-by shopping and dinning with a terrific Fry's Super grocery store almost walking distance. I am grateful to Summit for my very positive experience during a difficult period of my mom's life and I recommend them to anyone who needs assisted care.

This is a fantastic facility for loved family members. Our Mother/Grandmother/Great-Grandmother stayed here. After being here here a short time she thanked me that we had found the perfect place for her to live the rest of her life. She was happy here. This is a locally owned and operated community. The entire staff was there to support her in her needs, then as life came to an end they were all there for us, the family. I cannot say how great the entire staff is. I would not hesitate to recommend The Summit to anyone.

I have been in the healthcare business for 10+ years. The Summit at Sunland Springs is by far the best community ever. I honestly have never worked at a place where you get help from the management team like the Summit gives. I can remember times Craig Jr would come in and start helping out on the floor, or Kristie jumps in and helps. Craig even assisted me in showering a resident( if I remember correctly he did most of it). Craig Sr, Craig Jr and Kristie are three leaders of this community that actually care for each and every resident, family member, staff, ECT.. They do there very best to meet everyones expectations and needs. It has been a wonderful experience for me at this community. I encourage whoever reads this to check into the Summit you will love it!!!!!!!

Visited the memory care and newly opened assisted living community and WOW... this group has got their act together! No unturned stones: layout, decor, food, caregivers, cleanliness, ambiance, uniforms, activities, kindness and compassion. Kudos to Erica, a true caregiver with a gentle touch.
