Our Mom just moved into the Sheridan River Forest and we’ve had a very pleasant experience thus far. It is a new building with a cozy atmosphere for the residents and guests. The daily activities are fun and can keep one busy throughout the day. From the start, Leslie has been extremely accommodating and welcoming to our Mom and our entire family. This transition would not have been as smooth without Leslies help; she really went above and beyond and continues to do so for our Mom as she gets acclimated to her new setting. All of the staff we’ve been in contact with thus far have been kind and helpful. We are grateful to everyone who has made this transition so smooth for our mom.

The Sheridan is the ABSOLUTE BEST place for Elder Care. They offer five (5) levels of Care from Independent to Memory Care. The ENTIRE STAFF is CARING, COMPASSIONATE, AND PROFESSIONAL!!! The FOOD IS DELICIOUS and they accommodate ALL DIETS! They have FUN ACTIVITIES to suit a myriad of interests. The Sheridan is TOP DRAWER and the PERFECT PLACE for YOU and YOUR LOVED ONES!!!

My dear friend was diagnosed with dementia last year and I am her power of attorney. As her condition began to get worse, I had to decide to relocate her to a facility where she would get the best professional care she deserved. I called the Sheraton at River Forest, and I met the Assistant Director of sales, Michael Dubina. He escorted us as we toured the entire place and provided lunch for us on the tour. I must say Mr. Dubina and his team are caring, passionate and dedicated members of this community. Before my friend of more than 40 years moved in, I would call Michael with questions and concerns, and he would always ease my mind and spirit with the right answer. The staff is warm, professional and I know that my friend is in good hands. Thank you, Michael Dubina, for answering my calls after hours and even a few times on your days off (the weekend). You went above and beyond helping Joyce and me with making our decision easy because you showed us that you cared and that she would be taken care of with respect and dignity.

Michael Dubina has been amazing this past year as we looked to find a new community for my father, whose health is declining. The Sheridan came highly recommended by a colleague who had a loved one living in the community. While my father chose a different option, I could not have asked for a greater professional experience. Michael was helpful, knowledgeable, empathetic, relatable, patient and understanding. He truly knows how to meet families where they are in their journey. I would highly recommend!

Read all the fine print. Compare other facilities and what is a priority for you or your loved one. I would also speak with some of the residents there and ask them questions. There have been many changes in the 2 + years my mom has lived at the Sheridan of River Forest and not for the good. Also, it disturbs me that there is such a turnover in staff, Including the Director. It also disturbs me that I cannot speak with anyone above the Director at that facility. There is no one higher up to speak with regarding concerns with the Sheridan of River Forest

I am an entertainer and I bring my therapy dog to help make a difference with your precious residents. Every time I have been there , I can see the level of caring and attention from your staff that is given to them. I love what I do, and can see they do as well. Of all things that are important in this world, being kind, soft and attentive to our seniors is on the top of the list. You can't make people care, but you can hire the ones that do, and then reward them generously for a job well done. Keep up the good work.

This is a beautiful new building with all of the exercise and health equipment you could find add a regular gym. The food is good and healthy if you need assistance in maintaining your daily needs it is available 24 hours a day. The staff tries to provide all of the entertainment and services that R uplifting and satisfying.

I was able to tour the Sheraton at River Forest and see accommodations in terms of living space which is very spacious and open the dining areas the exercise and therapy areas are excellent

The customer service is the best I have ever experienced. The staff is exceptional and the atmosphere is similar to a 5 star luxury boutique hotel. I can sleep at night knowing that they are taking great care of my mother. Thank you to everyone at the Sheridan at River Forest.

Amanda and the team at The Sheridan and AMAZING! We've been looking at spaces for grandma for a year now. My Grandma is VERY picky and wanted to continue to live in our Hometown so it's been a process. When I found out the Sheridan was coming, I showed her the images of lobby and rooms and talk with her about the amenities and she was SOLD! Can't wait for them to open for her!
