My mother has been at the Blake for a year and a half. The staff are amazing . They are professional and genuinely care about the safety and happiness of the residents. If there is a concerned raised , Cynthia addresses it immediately. This can be a difficult time for most people, and my mother and I are both grateful for the positive experience at The Blake.

I have worked together with The Blake on a few projects and whenever I’ve gone in there, I have noticed how much the staff seems to care about the residents there. The Blake is very clean and has quite a bit going on for everyone. We have even had the pleasure of trying some of their food at different events and it is delicious.. I would like to recognize the nursing staff and activities team at The Blake at Viera for the kindness, compassion, and care they show to my loved one. The nurses were attentive, patient, and always treated our family member with dignity and respect. The activities staff also did a wonderful job keeping the residents engaged, social, and involved in daily activities. It was nice seeing the effort they put into creating enjoyable moments and encouraging the residents to participate and interact with one another. No place is perfect, but the staff truly worked hard and showed genuine concern for the residents. My mother moved to the Blake 18 months ago. From the beginning, administration and staff welcomed her. She is very happy with her apartment (nice size compared to other places we visited), the food, the fun activities (loves Stacey and the activity staff), and especially the friendly atmosphere. She has made lots of friends and feels comfortable in her surroundings. We like that fact that most of the staff from the front desk, to maintenance and housekeeping, to aides, to nurses, to Fox Fitness, know my mother and treat her as an individual. The dining staff even know how she likes her coffee and her favorite salad dressing! The size and location is convenient, too.

I would definitely recommend The Blake at Viera to anyone looking to not have to worry about paying various bills, doing laundry, cooking, cleaning etc. Your monthly rent includes all of the above and so much more, like, live entertainment, movies, various activities, shopping, field trips. The Blake is a state of the art facility where you can be worry free and just enjoy life. The staff is very attentive to the residents, everyday you’re served with chef prepared meals. My aunt and uncle have been living at The Blake for almost 2 years, and I wouldn’t change a thing, as all of their needs including medical are taken care of. Cynthia, Nadine, Reetu, Stacey, Gianna and Ballard are all so professional and very easy to work with. Keep up the good work!

We have had mom in the assisted living program since it first opened. The staff is very patient and professional. Stacey does a great job keeping the residents busy with fun activities. My stepmom has been a resident at the Blake for a little over a year. Her apartment is very nice with large windows that provide a lot of light. It has a refrigerator and microwave that gives her some independence. The Blake provides all meals in the dining room. She meets new people and they change the menu daily. They also have group activities such as bingo and outings that keep her busy. She also gets her hair done on property at the beauty parlor along with Physical Therapy. We couldn't ask for a better nursing and administration staff! The staff keeps me informed of her wellbeing and I never have a problem getting in touch with them. We are happy she is in a safe place but most important, my stepmom is happy!

I had the chance to visit this assisted living community in Viera and was so impressed. The building is absolutely beautiful. It displays as clean, bright, and very welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and you can tell they truly care about the residents. The atmosphere felt warm, organized, and well-run, with quality care clearly being a priority. A tour was provided by Reetu, who is obviously invested in the success of the building, the care provided to residents and families, and the happiness of those who work there. Finding a place for your Mom is not always an easy task. It is hard to know who you can trust and of course you want to make a great decision the first time. I decided to drop in The Blake at Viera to just see if I liked it or if I saw any red flags before further inquiry. When I walked in, I immediately felt the love! Residents were happy and talking to the employees like family. They called the sweet receptionist Princess, they smiled and laughed and had light in their eyes. Every employee greeted me and made me feel welcome, they also accommodated me immediately for a tour. Oh my goodness this place is so nice! The tour exceeded expectations! The rooms are large and clean and designed with residents needs in mind. The staff looked happy to be there and in the interactions with their residents you could see they truly care! (Trust me, this is not the norm). The activity room was full of residents enjoying making art and the mood was very good. Reetu introduced me to so many friendly faces and showed me all of the beautiful spaces and accommodations for the residents. Once I met Cynthia (the Director), I could see why everyone was so happy! She is a warm presence at The Blake that treats everyone like family. The Blake is top notch and I don’t say this lightly! I highly recommend The Blake if you are looking for the perfect place for your loved one.

My mother recently moved into the Blake - Memory Care and I cannot say enough about the care and comfort she has experienced. Ballard and Clyde made what could have been a very stressful experience moving and getting her settled in her new home easy - they were so very accommodating. These are not easy decisions for families to make but the Blake staff was there to support us during this transition. You can tell Ballard truly cares about the facility and more importantly the residents!

I moved my parents in to the Blake two weeks ago and I can't say enough good things. My main contacts Reetu and Ballard have been both efficient and accommodating. So far all the staff I have encountered have been great. My parents have felt welcomed and their new apartment is now home.

My mom was a resident in the memory care part of The Blake at Viera. I can’t say enough how good they were with mom. She was there from December 2023 to July 2024 when she passed. They were loving and caring with her. My interactions with the administration to all of the staff has been exceptional. Stacey made it very easy on mom to transition to living there

My 99 year old mother moved into Memory care last Feb. The Blake is a very safe feeling home for her. The 2 room apt more closely resembles the assisted living facility she spent her last 15 years in. most importantly; I know the extra care and help she receives every day is genuine by the wonderful staff there.

We moved our dad to The Blake at Viera from Independent living after a fall and stay at Rehab. He needed much help and care. We are so grateful to have found the Blake at Viera and to have the help of Reetu Haave as it was a tremendously stressful time. My dad is so happy here - he loves all the staff, his apartment, and all the activities they provide. He has made so many improvements in his mobiity and personal care. Our family has peace of mind knowing our dad is so well cared for and happy. The facility is beautiful, he can get all his doctor appointments and other services (haircut and shave) here / in one place, and the overall location is convenient to shops, restaurants, etc., Most important - the staff are all extremely professional, and so caring. Everyone is helpful and wonderful to work with. Highly recommend The Blake at Viera.

My sister is a new resident at the Blake. There are lots of activities to keep her busy and she loves all the staff! The food is so good I even try to join her for lunch a few times a week. Last week she went to the beauty parlor and got a shampoo, haircut and blow-dry. She loved it! We are all so relieved she is in a beautiful safe place where she is happy! The Blake had so much to offer....

We were in the process of moving my folks here. Reetu was amazing. Answered all my questions. My dad needed better more skilled staff to keep him healthy and strong, and I learned that not all assisted living places are created equal. Move your loved one here for the more skilled staff and more responsive staff...it will matter as the older folks fail healthwise..we found that out the hard way. Reetu responded to ALL my questions. My only regret is dad passed away before the move. Move to a place with a higher license--like the Blake and save your folks the frustration of lower quality of life...Blake has a great and well trained staff. Your folks will thrive here. Reetu, you are the best! I feel like I made a friend in the process.
