Both my parents, 89 and 90, have Dementia and I have placed them in Strive Memory Care since July 2023. Unfortunately they don't recognize each other as husband and wife and will be celebrating 69 Anniversary on September 3. I visited other Memory Care facilities but they all looked like a prison. At Strive, they both go on all the outings in the shuttle bus, they walk a lot and when they can. What I do like very much is I get a phone call whenever something very minor happens, like a small scratch after falling. The whole staff there are all very friendly and competent. I recommend Strive Senior Living 100%.

Staff member that was great to us was Lou and the place was very clean. Although there is a HUGE downfall. The caretakers (CNAs, LPNs, Etc) are not very attentive. My grandfather was constantly left in his diaper with either a lot of urine or poop. There were a few times us family members went to visit and found him dirty and had to clean him up. He fell multiple times trying to get out of bed after all the nurses were told he needs help getting in and out of bed, etc. When he fell, they called and told us he has fallen a few times and said the nurse cleared him. Well, when I went to go pick him up his wrist was swollen and they claimed they didn't know. When I brought him home and gave him a bath, there were indented nail marks on his back from the nurses, meaning they were not gentle when they did take the time to care for him. I understand he is not the only patient, but as a person in the health care field you treat your patients as if they were your own family and they do not do that. I DO NOT recommend it at all. It is all about the care, not the way the place looks.

Everyone at Strive has been a blessing to our family! They have provided a huge peace of mind and lifted this very heavy burden when it comes to finding a place who will truly care for Mom and cater to hers and our family's needs. She even had a great full first day! She was just talking about the happy hour they had with music and how she wanted to dance next time. It's been a long time since she has been so calm and content. Melissa the Memory Care director is a God-send as has been Kalub, Brenda, Lou, and all the caregivers really. No matter what comes up, it is addressed promptly and communication with me is top notch! This is especially critical since we spend time out of country. We have struggled with finding a good place for Mom since 2022 and we are just so thankful for everyone at Strive! I could go on and on, but know that your loved one is in great hands at Strive.

My mom has been living in the Strive community for almost a year. I know that she is safe here. She is treated with dignity and care. My mom loves the music and entertainment that is provided on a regular basis. We are pleased with the communication that we receive related to anything medically necessary. I find the administrative team to be attentive and responsive to families inquiries and needs

I love Strive, especially Jodi Ferrente, the charge nurse. Jodi is such an invaluable leader in the Wellness Department. Carrie Vick is the owner and shows genuine concern for the residents. I love the relationship I have with the residents. It's such an enriching experience to be a part of the Strive Family. I have attached some pictures. One is of a living room setting, and there are 8 settings like this. and the others are flower arrangements by the wife of one of the residents.

Is it is it I have been here for the last five years and I enjoyed being here very much. The staff is very good And I have no problems with the staff at all There's always activities going on for the staff sometimes I participate sometimes I don't, but that's my choice. All all. I visited my mom for lunch, although lunch looked great the staff seemed very uncaring. I waited 25 minutes to find a staff member to open the door to my my mother's room

To Carrie, Kalub & Team my experience in the last 48-72 hours has been both relief & gratitude. Your words & actions of understanding are amazing! I'm hopeful again. The last 4 weeks have been hellacious ... only bc it's so challenging to navigate this transition. The forms (1823, etc) the multiple people involved & you never see what it all takes! Thank you again Strive at Fern Park! I will tell everyone I can about this Team & your helpfulness. I reached out & you listened. I was confused and you expressed care. Thank you Meg and Tammy, who having to go through what someone could say is one of the hardest decisions. You guys made this experience perfect, no complaints. More then just being professional Meg you were supportive and a friend. From the cleanliness to just the simple fact the place is new and gorgeous, to the food options (which for my Mom was and is still the highlight of her day) Everything was a smooth transition and peaceful. Im very blessed to say that this place was above and beyond my answer to prayer for my Mom. She has made so many friends and looks forward to the activities and outing every time I talk to her!

When my Mom needed assisted living care, Strive at Fern Park was ready to welcome her. The caregivers, nurses, activity staff, and receptionist staff were amazing. They were positive, upbeat, and always helpful. The food was great! There were activities and things to entertain her. The food was great-a second time! The staff took the time to get to know my mom and treated her with kindness and respect. The facilities were very clean and updated. I feel so lucky that Strive was available for my mom. I brought my mom to Strive at Fern Park because of the poor care and attention she received at her last Assisted Living facility. Strive is very neat and clean and the staff has been great! The dining area and food selection/quality is excellent. The other residents are friendly and enjoy the daily activities that Strive provides. Strive at Fern Park has gone above and beyond for my mom and we made the right choice coming here.

My mom has been here for almost a year. The Team goes far and above all expections. Before Covid hit I went almost every other day to visit her. We would find her eating and we would eat with her which the Food is out of this World. The Chief would come up to us and ask if everything was good and if we needed anything just ask. If she was in the many activities we joined in as well. During covid, they kept everyone as safe as possible. The Nurses would call and give us updates. When she had to go to hospital and returned to Strive they were right on top of everything she needed. Everyone who works their makes you feel as they are part of the family. I cannot wait till I can go visit to spend time with them whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner and miss all the activities.. The Parties they throw is not just like a house party, it is like a banquet. The food is outstanding and food stations throughout the dinning area. The entertainment is exceptional and watching the residents dancing and having fun brings me peace that we picked a Fantastic place. Thank you Jim, Chef Brandon, Tracy and the whole team for all that you do. I can not say Thank you ENOUGH“““
