My 91-year-old father stayed at St. Therese Transitional Care Unit for 19 days after being hospitalized for two heart procedures. Physical therapists worked with him to restore his strength and balance. A social worker assessed his emotional well being and coordinated with family members. The nursing staff administered his medications. Kitchen staff prepared delicious, nutritious meals and delivered them to my dad with good humor and a smile. Other staff helped with hygiene, grooming, and fun activities. From the front desk personnel to all the other team members, everyone was highly competent, friendly, and kind. My dad was treated like royalty. Though my dad took a few days to adjust, he was extremely pleased with the beautiful facility, his private room, the meals, the medical care, and all the wonderful people who work at St. Therese. The common areas are well furnished. When friends and family members visited, we sat in a cozy, comfortable "living room" down the spacious hall from my dad's room. There is a bistro on the main level for residents and visitors to purchase food and treats. St. Therese is a blessed place. Our family is so grateful that my dad received great care from people who are passionate about their work. Be sure to check out the stained glass in the chapel.

Went to St. Therese to visit a friend, and was amazed by not only the quality of care, but the variety of levels of care for different needs (independent, assisted, memory, and long term), and the resources available to residents both therapeutically and recreationally located on campus. Live music from a local pianist greeted me as I entered the building, the environment was homely and inviting, and I had great interactions with a few of the residents as they enjoyed their lunch; one stating "This place is just the best, it's fantastic!"

I visited a friend about a month ago and this is a beautiful facility. I spoke to a resident on my way into the building and he comment how much he loved living here when I said how pretty the flowers outside were. When I walked in the receptionist was very friendly and helpful and pointed me in the right direction. My friend said she enjoys being at St. Therese. I'm so glad that she's happy!

Think twice on this place and beware of billing. Care coordinator M.B. is arrogant and condescending, talks to you like you are a child and makes excuses instead of showing care and concern when safety related deficiencies are present. My mom's insurance benefit was 1 to 20 days transition care with NO CoPay and the day before my mom was discharged their billing dept mailed a $2,800 bill for CoPay when technically there was no copay on her days at St Therese. MB also botched the referral for continued PT and neglected to inform the resource that the patient would be reachable and staying at a family members home. Medicare has a 48 hr window on referrals of this kind and the resource was calling my mom's home where no one would be there and not the daughters home where mom is staying to set up the schedule and the window with Medicare was missed because MB did not share this information with the rescource. Food and meals are horrendous. They do not bring meals based on patient selections. Meals fall short. Example bringing cereal with no milk or milk with no cereal. And what's the point. There was a big discrepancy of one therapist having dictated my mom's food be blended or finely chopped. My mom was completely capable of taking small portions and chewing her food before swallowing. Seemed like someone on staff had an axe to grind with my mom on pureeing and finely chopping her food. It was rare what my mom ordered for meals came as was ordered. Most nursing and attendants were kind and helpful. Admissions esigned documents without my mom's permission. We had a lawyer review their 32 pages of documents. Lawyers consensus was e-sign without permission of patient is on them and told leave paperwork as they chose to esign. We did not like the form asking about assets and financial details. When speaking with MB and telling her we are not providing this information her reply was we do that to help with resources. Sounds more like a motivator to instilling permanent care and learning what kind of money can support that. Place was clean. Her physical therapy was helpful. My mom has told me she will never go back. Treatment by MB and some staff was not appropriate. And when staff did not respond to the patient in the next room calling for help and having pushed the call button numerous times including my mom with no responding person and causing my mom to get up to make effort to get help for the other patient and could not find someone is not excusable. MB said well...all staff was in other rooms helping other patients and is why no one came to the callers aid. I told MB one person should be at that call center desk at all times in case of an emergency. Common sense is having standard operating procedures for the safety of patients. This facility lacks efficiency in many areas.

We were happy with our transitional care 2 week stay. Upon discharge from the hospital my mother in law had one option and we were thrilled it was St Therese's! We arrived on a Sunday and yet we received great care! Social Worker Mary and nurse Kaye gave us great care!

St. Therese of Woodbury has been a wonderful place for my mother to age. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

St. Therese of Woodbury is a peaceful, safe and comfortable environment for our dad. The workers are friendly and professional with their interaction with residents. We are fortunate to have dad living there.

The staff at St Therese has been wonderful. The location is central and the room is both nice and spacious. Mandy- social worker and Ellen- lead nurse are great!

My wife Karen was in the Transitional Care Facility for a month due to some major leg surgery. The building environment is beautiful, spacious, and inviting. The therapy prepared her to function at home while being in her "new" wheelchair bound condition. They came to the house to confirm that she could (1) get into the house, (2) get in and out of bed, and (3) use bathroom facilities. Thanks: Saint Therese! Karen's comments: The nursing staff, house-keeping and care-givers were amazing. . . truly concerned about my well being. I enjoyed the meals: (1) variety, (2) servers polite and accommodating. I am so happy to be home now, but very grateful for the wonderful care that got me here!

This place is amazing! My grandma lives there and the treatment she gets is wonderful. The staff is always a pleasure to work with! They have also done a great job handling the pandemic.

My review 'stems' from the joy I receive delivering fresh flowers to the residents of Saint Therese of Woodbury. My volunteer role is to pick up day-old fresh flowers from Trader Joes in Woodbury and deliver them to the residents of Saint Therese each week. What a generous organization to donate them! Flowers bring smiles to everyone I encounter, including me! I look forward to not only delivering flowers each week but delivering joy and happiness!

Beautiful Campus and the staff are friendly and go the extra mile (or two) to help. Highly recommended!

I truly love the community at Saint Therese of Woodbury! I started my time with them when COVID just hit, and I have been nothing short of impressed with the way the staff, residents, and members of this community have come together to ensure the safety of all those that are a part of this group. I truly enjoy getting to know all the residents, and the relationships that foster with the atmosphere that the community creates.

My Mom is stayed here for transitional care after surgery it's a nice and newer place which is great. There were some issues at first with her care but the leadership team called me and addressed my concerns and answered all my questions. Not a lot of places have customer service to that level. It was much appreciated.

Staff are professional, patient, kind, compassionate and have a high degree of personal integrity. I was in Evergreen Transitional Care Unit for a month. I am grateful for the outstanding care and support I received. This includes all staff from nurses, nursing assistants, occupational and physical therapists, food service, housekeeping, social work, doctor and nurse practitioner. I highly recommend St. Therese of Woodbury. Thanks again to all the amazing unsung hero's!

Beautiful facility with caring, compassionate staff!

My Mom has been living in the St. Therese for the past four years. She has unfortunately moved from independent living to assisted living and finally now to memory care. There have been many wonderful people that have "looked out" for my Mom, but one person that stands out is Caroline Cadalbert. Caroline and my Mom hit it off some time ago and Caroline has been my eyes and ears through many of the changes Mom has gone through. Each move that has been necessary Caroline has been there to help guide my family and I through the process. Whether it has been giving us her heartfelt opinion on my Mother's needs or setting up a service to help us move her. And during COVID, when families were not permitted in the facility, Caroline was there, after the move, to help my Mom arrange things just so! Caroline has been a great asset not only to our Mother, but to her family as well. Thank you Caroline!

I truly have enjoyed my time as a employee at St. Therese of Woodbury. The staff go above and beyond to ensure the residents are cared for and safe. Management is supportive and make you feel appreciated. Great place to work!
January 2021
Our family has had a positive experience with St. Therese of Woodbury. My Mom has resided in the independent living section of St. Therese for about 4 years. The staff is very friendly and responsive when a service request is made. During the last year my Dad was a resident in the long-term care unit. Again, the staff was courteous and extremely accommodating to his (and our family's) needs. They went above and beyond to help make communication with loved ones possible during the pandemic. My parents have been very happy with the care they have received at St. Therese of Woodbury and have been treated with the utmost respect. I would have no problem recommending St. Therese of Woodbury to someone who was looking for a senior living community.
November 2020
My wife and I have lived at the Redwoods of St. Therese since it opened at the end of 2017. We have found it to be an ideal living experience. The beautiful facility is designed to facilitate socialization and a healthy lifestyle. I have participated in the exercise classes provided and my wife has benefited from the therapy resources of St. Therese. The outstanding staff has contributed to St Therese of Woodbury being a warm and active community.

As a contracted vendor at St Therese, they have taken the time to make sure that everyone's mind is at ease during a trying time. Not only are they following guidelines but also being proactive in every decision that has been made for this campus. I have talked with so many residents that have voiced appreciation on making sure that their health is a priority. My Company could not be more thankful to work with STOW.

My mother was at St.Therese of Woodbury for temporary care after a brain surgery. She was treated very well and commented on how nice everyone was to her. Even with Covid protocols, we felt she received excellent care and would recommend this facility to others.

It's easy to see why so many members of the community are interested in Transitional Care and/or Housing either for their loved ones or for themselves at Saint Therese. The buildings are beautiful, the care is wonderful, and the staff are always willing to assist. I would be happy to recommend Saint Therese to anyone looking for Senior Care.

Ambience and home like atmosphere.

The facility was clean and the room I visited was very spacious. The person I visited did however complain that the workers are not always patient or helpful to her.

Saint Therese is a wonderful place to work. The staff is happy to assist you, whether Saint Therese is your home or if you are staying with us temporarily. My mom lives at Saint Therese and we couldn't think of a better home for her. Please don't hesitate to ask for anything that might make your experience brighter. We are here to help!

Thank you ST Therese staff for getting my parents settled into AL and LTC within your facility. A special shout out to Glen who helped me with TV set up in Mom's apartment - within :05 he was at her door with an additional cable box and got the universal remote all programed.
March 2019
My grandmother was at the St Therese of Woodbury recently, and while the therapists seemed great, the rest of the staff overall was super inconsistent and disorganized. More than once I heard staff complaining how a colleague had not finished there job. I was very impressed and grateful for the help given by many staff, there are some very talented staff amongst, however it seemed understaffed, or having poor systems. A few staff had really bad aditudes, as if they were burned out, and were burdened by grandma 's many requests. My bigest concern is around medication and length of time to wait for medications. Upon our discharge, medications that I double checked had been sent to the pharmacy, we're never sent, so we ended up running out over the weekend. Ugggg.
