If anyone were to ask me, I would recommend this place to them. Mom went into Randall and had all of the love, compassion, and care we could have ever asked for. Not only are the staff amazing, but the facility itself is beautiful. It is a great community, and if you are looking for a place for a family member, or yourself, it is a great choice.

On 12 /15/23. I attempted to post a negative review about this facility and the company based on my personal experience. I do not believe that it's coincidence there are no negative reviews on this page as apparently, the page administrator will not permit negative reviews in an effort to prevent the public from being able to make an objective decision about this facility. it is an attractive, well maintained facility with some caring and compassionate staff. I found the executive management to be inept, incompetent and nonresponsive to complaints and concerns. Therefore filed a formal complaint with the Ohio Department of Health. I strongly recommend anyone considering placing a loved one in this facility, do the due diligence and explore other options.

Lori the Head Nurse is always there to answer any questions that we as a family my have. My Dad loves to eat,and he can't say enough good things about the food and the quality of care he receives, he always says there is no better place to be then Randall. Highly recommend them!

Becky and the team at Randall Residence made to move for my mother easy and gave the family comfort in that mom would be taken care of properly. From the information provided, helping us through the process and moving in to the staff taking the time to learn mom's name and going out of their way to seeing that she has what she needs, the staff has been great. It has only been a few days and mom is making friends with the residences. I only hope that when the time comes to move her closer to me, I can find a facility and staff as good as Randall Residence.

My mother moved into randall residence in February of 2022. She was not excited to go. But Becky and the staff at randall have been amazing. They have gone out of their way to work with us and to make her feel very welcome. The staff checks in regularly to help mom out. And the residents there are equally as friendly. Several have already stopped by to talk to her and have said they will help show mom around and help her get her to places. The inside of the building is bright and cheery. And they offer a lot of things to do to make it fun and homey.

I moved my mother into Canal Crossings over the weekend, and I held my breathe as she can be, well, a bit picky about things. She is absolutely delighted with Randall Residence of Tipp City! The room is cozy, like an apartment, and she was warmly welcomed by the staff. They are absolutely doting on her! She loves the food, telling me about the fresh orange juice she gets with her breakfast to the real lemonade she has with her lunch. I cannot begin to express my thanks to Becky Devor and all the staff at Randall Residence for making my mom feel so welcome, cared for, and cozy! I know Mom will thrive in this environment!

I can't say enough good things about our experience of moving my mom and dad into Randall Residence last week. Becky made the whole experience easy and painless. She was really on top of things! Everyone has gone out of their way to make my mom and dad feel at home and welcomed. My mom said, "it is like moving into your favorite vacation spot!" Everything about the facility is beautiful and professionally done from the tablecloths on the tables to the lovely decor everywhere you look. My parents are impressed with the food and are enjoying the plethora of activities. The help my parents are receiving is exactly what they need. Thank you Becky and all of Randall Residence!

Our mother moved into Randall Residence in Tipp City in November of 2019, after we determined she could no longer live on her own. Her dementia determined that it wasn't feasible or safe for her to live with a family member. Mom started off in the assisted living section in a nice two room unit. She was never a social butterfly but soon enjoyed eating in the dining room and participated in the group activities. She was able to get her hair and nails done on site. I'm 2020 Covid hit. We were unable to visit the entire year due to State restrictions, but Randall staff made it as pleasant as humanly possible. They continued to have in house activities with movies, sing-a-longs, and craft making. In 2021 things loosened up and residents were able to get out. Randall did bus trips around the city playing music from the era of residents, mom thoroughly enjoyed these events. Mid 2021 moms dementia progressed to the point where she needed to move from assisted living to memory care unit. Soon after that she was unable to walk steadily, but staff got her a wheelchair and she was off and moving. Mom had accidents, and a lot of times was not pleasant (due to the dementia) but staff was supportive and professional with her at all times. They made sure she was up and ready every Monday and Friday for the bus trips knowing how she loved these. Sadly in January 2022 mom passed away. When we got that dreaded call the nurse was professional, and sincere. I wanted to clear out the room ASAP, but Randall made it known that I was able to take my time and proceed when ready. Bottom line, l looked at several places for mom, and Randall Residence was definitely the right choice.

Family can be described as people who are close to you and care for your well-being no matter what! I feel like my family grew by dozens over these last years. Randall Residence of Tipp City is a family in so many ways. My parents lived there for over three years in Assisted Living and Canal Crossing, memory care. The staff learned how to deal with two lovable but difficult 90+ year old seniors. Over the three years, I became friends with so many staff and residents due to the very positive atmosphere at RRTC. During the covid shutdown, the compassion of the staff kept my parents going since I and my siblings could not visit. When my parents were beginning to fail, compassionate visitation was ordered for our family. My mother died in February. The absolute caring attitude at her death was so welcomed. The RRTC family looked after my father for the next three months. After 71 years of marriage, he missed my mom and the staff listened to his stories repeated so many times. As he was dying, the staff visited and told him how much they loved him. He could be difficult but the staff learned to love him. Residents expressed their grief with his passing too. It helps to know my parents will be remembered. RRTC is such a clean facility and the entire staff tries to make each resident comfortable. There are great activities if a resident wants to be involved. I ate many meals there with my parents too. The menu was varied and seemed to be healthy although ice cream was always available. The administration, Connie, Becky, Jo, Olivia and so many more are always focused on the resident and his or her needs. The entire staff from housekeeping to maintenance, to aides, to medical, all played a part in keeping my parents safe. There are too many to name individually. Sometimes living in the family home or with family is just not possible. I highly recommend Randall Residence of Tipp City as a safe place to enjoy living the rest of one's life.

This is a marvelous community! The professional and compassionate administration and staff care as much about our loved ones as we do. My mother passed away shortly after moving in, but my stepfather continues to happily reside at Randall and has thrived for 3 1/2 years. The facility is very well-maintained, activities abound for the residents (even during the pandemic restrictions), and the residents' health/security are always paramount. We highly recommend Randall Residence, and are very grateful for its unwavering commitment to its community. Thank you!

Randall Residence of Tipp City wasn't a "home" for my father, it was my fathers HOME. The staff treated him like he was their own father. There were horendous situations caused by Dads skin cancer that were handled with kindness and professionalism beyond what could ever have been expected or even wished for. I pray that in my later years my wife and I can find a place as nice as Randall. Thanks guys!! You're the best!

My mom was here for two years. She was located in the memory care portion of the facility (Canal Crossings). She recently passed and I was impressed with how they treated our mother and our family. Clean facility. Good food. Able to handle dementia and Alzheimer patients. They really try and treat the residents as people. Highly recommend.

There is NOT a nicer assisted living/memory care facility in the area! Our aunt has lived in Canal Crossing (the memory care wing) for three years. When I visit: my aunt is always dressed, the place is clean (no nursing home smells), and the meals do not look nor taste 'institutional'. There are daily planned activities and weekly bus trips for her to enjoy. Entertainment is brought in. The staff is so patient and caring. My aunt absolutely loves it there!

I am a former resident of Randall House and love the place very much. My stay was for three months and I got to know MANY new friends. The activities available to residents are varied of which they do enjoy and take part. The food served to residents is of high quality. Also the entire staff always treats residents with loving care and upmost respect. I am completely sold on the living experience at Randall and fully recommend them to anyone who is future thinking about themselves or their loved ones.

Thoughts and praises about this wonderful facility.... Words cannot begin to express our complete satisfaction with Randall Residence in Tipp City, OH. It was the only place we visited where my mom felt "at home" after losing my dad, her love and husband for over sixty-three years. Mom loved the Randall Residence ("Randall House", as she named it) strolling 'Main Street', making new friends in the dining hall each day, the special attention provided her by all the staff, and of course the ability to have some special attention while yet maintaining a personal level of independence, and with that, her dignity.... so important for a woman pushing 90 years of age, and still very lucid, mentally! Being a Tippecanoe native who is now pushing 60, I also found myself running into names of parents of fellow Tippecanoe Alums, including the husband of my 3rd grade teacher. Randall Residence is a community of both long-term & new friends. As for care, this facility is so much more than an assisted living facility. With the ability to increase levels of nursing care to match the needs of the resident, one never need leave the facility and can live out their senior years knowing their routines and surroundings will not change, and the level of care will increase when needed. The only regret we have is my mother passed away due to medical complications during a heart valve replacement, not long after moving in. Mom was looking forward to many more years at Randall Residence. If you are personally considering a move, or the move of a loved one into an ALF, I highly recommend you reach out to Connie Rozell at Randall Residence.

Our committee has had the pleasure of working with staff at Randall Residence in an inter-generational project sponsored by Tipp City Area Arts Council. We recently installed the annual Student Art Contest exhibit in the lobby and will host our artist reception and awards program tomorrow. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and very welcoming. TCAAC does not have its own brick and mortar building, so it is an invaluable asset for us to utilize this beautiful venue. In addition, the food service staff helps us provide a lovely reception for the students and guests. It is rewarding to know how much the residents, their families, and visitors enjoy viewing the students' artwork. In addition to Art Council awards, residents also judge the artwork and present their own awards. Plus, it is heart-warming to see how all the employees truly care for the residents and get to know them individually. My mother was a resident of Randall Residence for a year and a half. She had come from a nursing facility in Texas to be closer to family. I had looked at other nursing facilities but finally decided on Randall and in particular, the Canal Crossing option. I am so thankful that I made that choice. My mother was loved and cared for like family. The staff knew her. They knew her likes and dislikes and the little idiosyncracies that made her my mom. I was kept informed of changes in her condition in a timely manner. Any concerns that I expressed were taken to heart and a solution offered. Recently, my mother passed away at Randall while being in Hospice Care. The Canal Crossings Staff continued to care not only for her but also for me. They provided a listening ear, a hug and a shoulder to cry on during one of the most difficult times in my life. Such wonderful and caring staff! I will never forget the excellent care that she received there.

This is an Assisted Living Facility far beyond my expectations for Dad. There is no such thing as the employees and the residents. It is a Family. A collection of people who really know how to take care of your loved one and they are treated as one of their own. Dad was moved up from Sarasota, FL. because he had broken his hip and he is 95 years young. He left his handicapped daughter with caretakers that have been with her for years. Needless to say, his adjustment was difficult. His favorite Aide just won an award for her amazing performance at Randall Residence. She helped him with this transition and I am forever grateful to her and the others who care for him. He has a beautiful studio room and we encourage people looking at the facility to come in and see the way it is set up and to talk with Dad. My Dad has rated the food 4 stars. Thats very good because he is a fussy eater. Breakfast is his favorite meal. He rated the dining staff 5 stars for attentiveness to the foods he likes and because they are so nice to him. He likes rootbeer floats and he can have them whenever he wants. Bottom line folks, my husband and I said that we could stay there when the need arises in our life.

My sister's friend recommended Randall Residence to our family for our father who is nearing 96 years old. My first impression was that it is not like any assisted living place I had ever seen. The design is like a village, with a Main Street lined with a recreational area, coffee shop, hair salon/barber shop, chapel, and a lovely movie theater with a popcorn machine in front. There are also familiar landmarks, like light posts and a large clock. The rooms are spacious and well designed and are in two halls on either side, a horseshoe shape that starts and ends back on Main Street. The dining area is conveniently located at the end of the street. Aside from being very attractive, it is a practical design for people who are easily lost and you know that they can find their way to their rooms and to the dining hall. My dad uses the clock in the center of Main Street to locate his room. I was impressed with the beautiful building but for me, I am looking for excellent care and a capable, friendly staff. Randall Residence has that also. We brought my dad on a Saturday, and everyone recognized him as new and greeted him by name. He was very pleased with his "celebrity" status his first day there. I have been able to call and they can tell me where he is and what he is doing. The staff has been willing to answer questions and are very supportive. I know I'm rather over protective with my dad but when I asked if I could check out the call buttons in the bedroom and in the bathroom the nurse said, "Absolutely" and sent an aide to let me test both of them and show how quickly they are notified. My dad is getting involved in many of the activities. As he walks down Main Street, he can see all that is going on and has been joining in. Randall Residence is also "dog friendly" and my dad has his companion dog with him and the staff has been wonderful with that also. He is getting excellent care in a wonderful place and I feel like I am regaining my peace of mind. Instead of spending all my spare time doing his laundry, filling prescriptions and making sure he eats a balanced diet, I can spend quality time, just visiting and being his daughter again. That is why I would give Randall Residence five, well deserved stars.

Since moving from my childhood home to an independent living facility in Cleveland, it became apparent that my parents (age 91 and 93) needed to be closer to family. By this time they needed assisted living so I began the search for a facility that could handle my dad (wheelchair-bound and in need of a two-person assist) and my mom. I found exactly what I was looking for at Randall Residence in Tipp City. The facility is clean, warm, and inviting, and as home-like as you will find for institutional living. The staff is outstanding - everyone from the front desk staff, the aides, the nurses, and the front office staff. When my dad's 93 year old heart decided it had had enough, Tammy and the staff set up a hospice room in a suite that was in transition which enabled my mom to be close by as he spent his final days with us. Since his passing the staff has been 110% supportive of my mom as she adjusts to her new normal of life without her companion of almost 70 years. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an excellent assisted living environment for their aging parents.

As a parent ages and needs some degree of assistance with everyday living needs we as the children find ourselves looking for that perfect match...a location that will celebrate their independence and encourage them to remain as independent as possible yet provide the supports they need. When we visited Randall Residence every resident we met expressed how much they enjoyed living there as well as the activities they enjoyed. After our tour we understood why. The accommodations, including a kitchenette, large bathroom and large walk in closet, were impressive as was Main Street with its beauty salon, community room, theatre, chapel and grille. What we experienced was a bright, cheerful, active community of seniors at varying degrees of ability. Thanks to Connie and the staff and residents at Randall Residence my mother, who just a year ago proclaimed she would NEVER go to an assisted living center, was asking "how soon can I move in"?
