My brother lived at Provident just shy of two years. I moved him due to location as I wanted him closer to me. Otherwise, he would still be a resident of Provident. Staff was kind to my brother and me and provided him with care. His room was spacious with a large, walk-in shower. I gave four stars on this review primarily due to the lack of a secured "back yard" that would have allowed him more outdoor time. The food, the staff, and the affordable price made for a positive experience.My thanks to all.

I can't say enough nice things about Nicole! She wears two hats as the Executive Director AND Wellness Director. She is awesome and they are lucky to have such a dedicated and talented leader. The team as a whole is wonderful, I would definitely recommend Provident in Buda to anyone looking for their loved one!

I've been working for sodalis for a while and I can honestly say yes, we've had our share of ups and downs just like any community. However, since Tammy has been the new executive director we have been able to spear head a lot of the issues to help improve the overall quality of the facility and help bring positivity and care to the residents and their families. Iam proud and honored to work with Tammy and other staff. We have an amazing team and I can't express that enough. I love our community and sodalis as a whole and will continue to always do my best for the residents and the company.

I wasn't sure what to expect at the assisted living facility in Buda, but I'm nicely surprised with all aspects from cleanliness to food to the support staff. I would have no problem recommending Sodalis for both long term or respite care.

What a fantastic facility here in Buda! I helped participate in their July 4th weekend celebration with residents and staff! We had a carnival themed event with awesome participants throwing darts, knocking cups and other activities!

This facility has done well with recovering from the negative impacts the pandemic has had on healthcare and assisted living facilities. The staff are caring, the building is beautiful, and the food is good. I absolutely recommend this building to my patients and friends.

My sister and I moved mom into Sodalis Buda a month ago and we couldn't be more pleased, starting w the staff, who are wonderful and proactive. The facility is neat and clean and designed to facilitate engagement among staff and residents and family members. We don't have to be the proxy "supervisors", at Sodalis, unlike at her previous assisted living center in Buda where we had to request and verify that even basic care was being given. Sodalis' food is wonderful. Families of the residents are treated as another part of the care-giving team and are welcomed. Tip for elder-care newbie's shopping AL centers: Assuming the staff is competent and caring like at Sodalis, and that is a BIG assumption.....check the facility's drop-off and pick-up protocol, logistics and ease-of-use. -Does the front door have an awning to protect against thunder storms, sleet and the Texas sun? -Is the passenger side of the car nearer the front door (good)or the driver's side (bad). -Do you have to be "let" in the front door? Is someone near the door after 7:30pm? or do you have to phone someone or bang on the windows to be let in from the dark winter cold w your elderly family member who needs to go to the bathroom? -How difficult is the check-in and check-out procedure? -How long does it take to get med's ready for an overnight trip? Minutes, like at Sodalis? or an hour like we experienced elsewhere. -Is the front door drop-off in a fire lane?...which requires the driver to leave the elderly person alone at the front door in the dark, cold winter night and then hope there is a nearby parking spot. Pick-up and drop-off is a BIG issue and makes a BIG difference in the quality of life with the days remaining with your elderly loved one. Sodalis Buda was designed as an AL Center and meets all these criteria. Other AL Centers don't. Shop carefully. Take notes. Buy what is available today, not "we plan on improving this or that next year".

If you are looking for an awesome company to work for I highly recommend Sodalis Senior Living. I have worked here for just over a year at the Buda location and I love it. The team is amazing and the residents are out of this world. We have a great community and great leadership. If you are looking for a home for your loved one, this is the place. We have a loving and caring staff that feels like family. The food is great the activities are fun and the Beer Bandits are awesome. Yes the residents make their own beer. Come by for a tour and try some of their beer.

I have been working for Sodalis for 4 months. I have felt very welcomed and supported by the president, Traci Taylor. Our Executive Director is one of the best I have ever met. Carl Smith has a heart of service and truly cares for his staff and our residents. He is accessible to his staff, calm, a good listener and fair.

My grandmother lives here currently. The staff is very attentive and mostly friendly. I love the Wednesday happy hour. Residents get free drinks and charcuterie tray. I do wish there were more cards and dominos got them. The place is fairly new and located in central Buda. For the most part, we like this place.

My mother-in-law resides very happily in this amazing facility! Not only is it gorgeous and beautifully decorated, its atmosphere is inviting.The staff is top notch, taking excellent care of my mother-in-law, making her feel loved and secure. She enjoys the incredible meals served there. We are delighted that she lives in such a special place!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Sodalis Assisted Living facility in Buda!!! We moved my almost 98 year old mother in April 2019. First of all, it is beautiful!!! Second, the food is like being at a 5 star restaurant! I know this because I stayed with my mother for the first 3 days, so I got to eat all three meals that are served in their lovely dinning room. Their chefs are unbelievably.....homemade breads, the best blueberry pancakes, and who gets homemade lasagna with pasta made from scratch......the residents at Sodalis do!!!!! And I haven't even gotten to the deserts! I could go on and on about how fabulous the food is, but I have to move on to get this all in. Third, and most important, is the staff! They are so kind, attentive, caring and they treat my mother like a queen. There activities director, is constantly thinking of fun and wonderful things to keep all of the residents engaged and active. She goes that extra mile along with the the chefs and staff to make every party, happy hour, etc an occasion to remember! And the medical staff is ALWAYS on top of all my mother's needs, and goes above and beyond! It's a small facility....but that is what makes it so special! You know all the staff and it feels like family. I was concerned about moving my mom after 14 years of being in an independent living, and making a change to assisted living. But this was the best decision we could have ever made!!! She is beyond happy....tells me that everyday. She loves her apartment, loves the staff, loves the friends she has made and LOVES the food!! On top of all of that, it's not over priced and I looked at 8 other highly rated facilities in the Austin area. My mom is enjoying her new home....and at 97, that says a lot!!
