My sister had terrible care at your place. She was always greasy looking wearing other people's clothes. I'm so relieved my nieces moved her to Brookdale. Your place looks nice on the outside but on the inside it is a drooling prison for dementia residents. AND YOU CHARGE outrageous prices. YOU ALL SUCK.

We selected Madrona House to move my mom closer to family because it was nearby. It proved to be a truly wonderful place in many other respects. Her apartment was cozy and she liked the food, but above all, she appreciated the very friendly and conscientious staff who genuinely cared about her. I always felt welcomed going there to visit and knew she was in good hands when I left. I would give Madrona House a five star endorsement as an assisted living facility. Stephen Shapi

My mom was there for about 2 yrs in memory care. Every visit there was great staff in her wing and always some activities going on and they let the people get around on their own unless they can't do my mom was always active so she didn't just sit and lose mobility. Great job Madrona

My mom has been at madrona house for about 8 months now. She is thriving in the enriched social environment it has to offer, and benefiting from the exceptional living facilities that offer residents both functional and independent accommodations in one. The staff have been wholehearted and sympathetic to her needs and have gone out of their way to ensure she settle in feeling welcomed and belonging to her new community. In turn my mom is now extending this same sense of welcome to new residents which is really awesome for me to see 🙂

Madrona House is STELLAR! I have nothing but RAVE reviews on every single member of the staff and how much they truly care and love each and every one of their residents. The ambiance is so sweet and the food is spectacular. I would not think about looking any further when finding memory care within the Puget Sound region. When my aunt moved in more than a year ago, she was instantly calmed and much less anxious the moment she moved in. Its hard to gauge how anyone with dementia likes where they are, but I could instantly tell how settled in she seemed. I cherish the Madrona House staff for all they did for her! THANK YOU!!!

My Mom has been in memory care at Madrona House for more than 3 years. Besides the high level of cleanliness of the facility and the care that's taken to keep things looking nice, yet comfortable and accomodating to the residents, I am astonished, year after year, at the level of care my Mom receives there. It is so reassuring to know that she is looked after by caregivers who truly know and understand her and they do it with such compassion. I especially appreciate the extra effort put in during the incredible challenges with Covid. If you're searching for dedicated care in quality surroundings, look no further! Madrona House is the place for your loved one.

Both of my parents have lived at Madrona House for over five years now. From the beginning we couldn't be happier with the care my parents receive and with the incredible staff who impress me all of the time. The people who work here truly care about the residents and go over and above to provide the best care possible. I was especially touched when my father passed earlier this year and with the support they provided to my mother and to my entire family. I also want to share how incredible everyone was during the lockdown of the facility during Covid. The management did everything they could do to keep families engaged with their loved ones and they did a great job in an incredible difficult time for everyone. The facility is not inexpensive but it is always clean and furnished incredibly, along with top notch dining service. I regard the care to be worth the expense and my entire family is very happy to have my parents reside at Madrona House which is hands down the nicest assisted living facility I have ever visited.

My father has been in memory care for close to 2 years. The Madrona House has been wonderful for my father and the caregivers, especially Angie, have been incredible. They have cared for my father after two bouts of COVID hospitalized him and are always patient and caring. Audrey, the Life Enrichment Director, has been creative and engaging with the residents. And Cassie Rapoza, has always been receptive to Dad's needs. Nurses Beth, Patricia and Denise take their responsibilities seriously with regard to residents' medical needs. Bainbridge Island is very fortunate to have this memory facility on the Island.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Madrona House for nearly five years. We found the Madrona House at first impression to be professional, clean, caring and very accommodating in every way. Five years later, we have experienced, through my mother-in-law, nothing but more of the same. She has nothing but wonderful things to say about the facility, the food, the entertainment, the service and attitude of the staff and management. My wife and I have been able to rest comfortably, two states away, knowing that Madrona House is taking such amazing care of her. Thank you so much!!!

My father moved to Madrona House two years ago from Madison House and I couldn't be happier with the excellent care he's continuing to receive. He's in memory care and the staff is so kind, I really feel like he's in the best possible place. He had to move rather suddenly from Madison when we were alerted by the staff there that he was wandering and was no longer safe. Bainbridge Senior Living came through with a room at Madrona and helped us move him (no easy feat in the midst of Covid!). The staff in both facilities are wonderful and I really feel like they know my dad well and care about him. Cassie is the heart of Madrona and always ready with a smile and a story or picture of dad. Patricia, Denise and Lou were wonderful when dad had to start using a wheelchair, I really relied on their observations and advice and appreciated their support. The building is clean and well-designed with a lovely outside patio and cheerful common areas. There's a full calendar of activities and enrichment and good meals and transportation for residents if needed. I have no doubt that Madrona House, like Madison is the very best place for my father and I'm so grateful he's living there.

My father in law has been at Madrona house for almost 3 years now. He loves the staff, they are so compassionate and caring. They all take extra time anytime he has issues or questions. He is a memory care residents so he requires extra help with everything and we have never had a problem getting him the assistance he needs when he needs it. I have looked at assisted living/memory care places all over the country and Madrona house ranks among the best in my opinion.

As the owner of the local funeral home, we have the opportunity to work with all of the assisted and senior living centers in our community. We have a unique perspective because often times we are at these places after normal hours. Its during these times that one can see the true way people are cared for and I can tell you we are very fortunate. Madrona House and their caring staff never cease to amaze me and others who work for me. They take care of the residents like they are their own family. They bathe, dress, and play soft music for them and show them the respect and care they deserve. Cassie and the rest of the staff are true professionals and often times will gather to pay their respects to those who have passed. These special people have a difficult job to do and they do it with grace and true concern. I would not hesitate to put my family in the care of these great people! Thank you for what you do!

I have practiced for years on Bainbridge Island as a family doctor and have had many patients cared for in the memory care portion of Madrona House and had others in assisted living there. The staff has changed gradually over the years but has remained the highest quality. During the pandemic, I have watched the Madrona House staff secure vaccines at the earliest possible time and respond to sporadic cases with transparency and skill. No one in their facility has died of COVID-19. The facility is clean and provides a safe and caring environment for family and loved ones. They were recently voted best long term care facility of Bainbridge Island for good reason.
