Hopefully they have made a 360 degree turnaround! My mom (with dementia) and dad were residents at the "old" Heritage Village from late 2019 til they died in January 2021 (dad) and March 2021 (mom). My mom had a couple falls when she wasn't being supervised and broke her femur and hip. Staff took her rings off and the simply "went missing" after a caretaker called and said she was taking them off due to swelling. the rings were never recovered. When calls were made a large plastic bucket full of jewelry was dumped out and asked if any of the rings were hers. (they weren't) it seems to me these things should be well documented so they did not simply disappear. wonder how many others "lost jewelry", this should have been investigated and new protocols placed. who made money off of this:? care was lacking and needs were ignored.

We knew this was the right place for my Dad when we met the staffing team. They were kind, professional, and sincerely cared about my Dad. They took the time to get to know him as a person as well as his special needs due to dementia. Today, he is happy, has new friends, and wonderful care in his beautiful new home at Heritage Village. We are thankful we found the right fit for Dad and can't thank the staff enough for all they do!

6/23/24 Update coming on review after a year. A lot has changed since initial review! Heritage Village Assisted Living is a great find. My mother with dementia has been a resident for a few months and she is very happy. The homes are clean and bright and well run. Staff are caring and helpful. Angelica with admissions was consultative and extremely helpful with the ALTCS process. I recommend taking a tour to see if Heritage Village is a good fit for your loved one.

I'm so pleased to say that I found Heritage Village. Though they have received negative press for actions related to past actions, when owned by previous owners and/or representatives, I would suggest giving them a look for how they operate today. My mother, whom has dementia, is now in a safer environment, with people who care about her well-being. My mom enjoys all of the activities available at Heritage Village, visiting various locations throughout Arizona, and it has extended her emotional happiness. Yes, there are many alternatives for assisted living. Some of the alternatives are less expensive, while others are more expensive. What I believe is important, is the people whom are in contact with your loved one, day after day, and the medical approach provided to your loved one. As a family, we're happy, and I think you would be as well.

Heritage is awesome! Super nice and well taken care of facility, the Maintenance crew is really on top of things, shout out to Roberto because he does quality work. Linde is very kind and takes care of everyone's needs. I love how this place handles the activities for all the patients. The assistants in the office are so nice and helpful as well, I think one of their names is Kenzi? Over all 10/10 for performance, integrity and excellence. Grateful the residents are always looked after and taken care of.

We cannot say enough good things about Heritage Village. The staff are professional, kind and loving to all their residents and their families. Our mother was a resident for a few months prior to her passing and was treated with respect and tenderness. It was comforting to know we could reach out with our concerns or questions and be met with answers and understanding. The best is one way to measure the assistance our family received from Heritage staff. However, Angelica Vensor went above and beyond the call of duty. She was kind and compassionate with our pleas to find a safe and loving place for our mom. Heritage offers a skilled nursing staff focused on providing the most exceptional home care. Saying "thank you" isn't enough to cover how grateful we are. Our mom is is the right place with good, kind and decent people surrounding her. We found an exceptional place with exceptional people to care for our mom. They understand the depth of our love for our mom and she deserves no less than exceptional. Thank you!!

My mother-n-law's Alzheimers went from 0-60! We were in need of a assisted living/memory care NOW. Heritage Village was the second place we looked at and fell in love with it immediately. Linde Leibried was absolutely amazing! We felt so welcome and knew this was the perfect place just by talking with her. We knew that there was no need to look any further. We have to say the homes are pretty amazing as well but Linde made us feel right at home. I would recommend Heritage Village to anyone looking for assisted-living/memory care. We know that Dawn is safe and taken care of and we could never be more appreciative of everyone at Heritage Village. We love you all and thank you again!!

Hands down Love working with Linde and Angelica at this facility. They are extremely professional and only wants the best for their residents. They take their time understanding each situation at hand and finding the perfect cottage that will fit the needs of the resident. These ladies really go above and beyond. 5 star hands down for our senior community.

If they could give 10 stars , I would gladly give it to them. Where do I begin when I first brought my husband to Heritage Angelica was very easy to talk to, she made it less stressful for me because of the previous place he was staying at was a total nightmare. Angelica was able to get him in right away and he had other staff like Jessica from BlueSky help him as well, The staff was great and very professional. The room was a good size with two beds the kitchen was very nice and big, and they also have a beautiful dining area for residents to eat their meals, and a nice patio area for them to sit outside. I would drive there from Phoenix every weekend to see my husband, and they were always welcoming and friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were kept very clean they have a washer and dryer for residents to use or the staff as well. They never intend for residents to leave happily out the door , was when my husband did just that, because of their hard work and dedication to helping my husband be able to come home since being gone from October of last year, he finally got to come home before our 16th wedding anniversary!!!! Thank you to all staff and caregivers at Heritage especially to Lisa ,Jessica, and most of all Angelica.Vens

This facility is so beautiful and well kept! lindie Is so friendly and helpful. She made the experience of my grandfather moving in so seamless and easy and enjoyable!! she truly goes above and beyond after looking around for my grandpas new home and having no luck she was a breath of fresh air! During this hard time of the pandemic the staff at Heritage Village has been working diligently on keeping me updated as to what is going on at the facility and adjusting plans as needed. As I am not able to visit the rooms to see what is needed by mom to keep her comfortable they have called me to inform me she is needing items and now I call once a month and Barbara has been able to get me over a list so that I can have the items purchased to take when I visit. I have had great assistance in getting the items purchased into her and they are always friendly. Barbara and the staff that work with her have assisted us in making our visits to my mom special. They are very patient with us and allow as much time as possible to visit. They also tell me how much they enjoy my mom which is nice to know that they care about the residents. We left another nursing home almost two years ago in a hurry because of the horrible way the staff was treating my mother and where fortunate enough to find Heritage Village. Would I recommend Heritage Village to someone, yes I would.
