Assurety, being "Award Winning Care" sounds like it would be marketing hype, right? Mental and Emotional Care: My Dad is suffering from severe dementia and always was used to doing things his way and being very active (sometimes 24 hours a day). When he was unable to remain at his assisted living facility, I thought "Wow, there's no way he's going to be happy again" Yet the staff at Assurety figured it out. They adjust their care to the needs of each patient, always looking for touchstones that perk the person up. A couple of examples for my Dad that they found: hiking videos and singing. Physical Care: Before Assurety, Dad was being hospitalized with infections every few weeks. Since he's been with Assurety for a couple of years, the only issue they had was shortly after he entered their care (likely a latent infection when he first joined) and absolutely nothing since. That tells me they're keeping things clean and sterile and doing what my Dad needs physically. They have alarms on the beds so if my Dad starts getting up in the middle of the night, they are down stairs with him. (And sometimes it's 4 to 5 times per night!) Highly recommend Assurety. Honestly, I can't imagine any place I'd rather have my Dad.

My mom and I first heard about Jim and Laura from our neighbor's daughter who's mother lived to be nearly 104 with them. When our dad/Grandpa needed a higher level of care, we were lucky that they had openings. Beautiful bright sunny rooms, excellent cooking both for flavor and appearance as well as health benefits. Our dad/grandpa in spite of losing his mobility, is thriving there in the bright cheerful atmosphere. We feel so fortunate to have found such a good attentive place for him.

Aloha, if you are looking for quality care, Assurety can deliver. I appreciate their medical professionals on site who recognized my Grandaunt's need and contacted family immediately. Thankfully she recovered. Truly impressed with staff who made sure family were informed every step of Auntie's recovery. Getting pictures since I live in another state also helped ease my mind. My wife and I looked around at several senior living homes and after talking to the different owners, the conversations were rather disappointing. One owner actually told me they have a string to pull to alarm them if they needed anything at night. I asked with my mom's dementia how is that suppose to work,? And for an answer all I received was a blank stare! My mom was suffering from physical disabilities and her dementia was gradually getting worse. A friend told me about Laura and Jim and they took absolutely the best care of my mom. Laura was awesome with always doing my mom's hair for my mother. Their home is always clean and Laura is a great cook always was making something special for the residents. I would very highly recommend Assurety to anyone looking for an adult living home, you won't be disappointed. ™™™’

We are grateful for Mom's happiness. She knows she is safe, is very well cared for, and is socially engaged in a beautiful home filled with light and love and don't forget Jim's rose garden! Although Mom's memory has diminished, she looks forward to each day, she enjoys the visits of family and friends, and she listens and sings along to her collection of Hawaiian music. Jim & Laura outdid themselves when everyone was treated to a Hawaiian feast in celebration of Mom's 92nd birthday! Thank you, Jim & Laura, for all you do!

Laura and Jim are very caring people who seem genuinely concerned about the well-being and happiness of my aunt. Their facility is laid out well, the garden is spectacular and they put up extensive interior decorations for the different holidays and seasons. They serve large holidays meals and had a special dinner for my aunt’s birthday. They have been very accommodating getting my aunt into their facility and with our visits.

Jim and Laura took care of my Grandmother for years. She has severe dementia and as a result was very difficult to care for, but they provided amazing care. We visited frequently, and every time Grandma's hair was curled, her skin was in pristine condition, they even kept her nails painted! She would have been proud of how they kept her primped and presentable. Their house is comfortable and beautiful, with a large garden that they keep full of flowers in the summer and Christmas lights in the winter. Meals are family style and the living room is so comfy, with big armchairs for the folks to watch TV and socialize if they don't want to stay in their rooms. Whenever there was a medical or personal issue, Jim and Laura would contact us immediately, and were so concioucious about getting any little problem that developed checked by a doctor promptly. They texted us pictures of her all the time when we couldn't visit. Their place is hands down the best nursing home I have ever seen or heard of. Thank you Jim and Laura for all your love and care for my Grandma. Love, Aurora

The care team at assurety has taken care of family members for 10 years. They remember what the term care means. We have chosen them more than once when needed someone to be cared for and kept safe. Would recommend completely.

Jim and Laura provide a loving, caring home. It was the only place Grandma said she would want to go after seeing the care that her sister had in the home. This is not just a "job" but a calling and mission for Jim and Laura. When I asked Jim one time why he does it, "he said in my families culture our older relatives are all cared for by family, and we realized that no everyone has family with the skills to do it, so we can be that extension of their family for them." For my wife and I, we know Grandma is safe, loved, cared for, and happy as if we were doing ourselves. We are so thankful for Jim and Laura opening their home and doing what they do with professionalis, kindness, love, and patience. Jim and Laura are like family to us. We love and respect them. Hands down the best there is at what they do and who they are.

My Mom Beverly lived at Assurety for 6 years, and received the very BEST of care that entire time from Jim and Laura. They run their Adult Care Home with expert care, loads of Love, and always treated my Mom like she was their own family! Mom had severe Alzheimer's, and was not easy to care for at home any longer, and we were so blessed to find Jim and Laura to take care of her. Their home is spotless, their care unmatched, and Mom had those 6 great years under their watchful eye, until she passed on. I only have the highest regard for Jim and Laura and what they do. They are Gods Angel's, come to help in difficult days, and I dearly love them for it.

Assurety Senior Care made the last 6 years of our family's life so full of happy memories. My mom lived to nearly 104 at her Assurety home. And although her mind and body deteriorated every one of those years, with their devoted and skilled care, her spirit actually grew in peace and contentment. They truly loved her as well as cared for her. They welcomed all of us a family visitors as well as a friends. I'm sure she had more visits because of that welcome. And as her care needs grew, their skilled attention never wavered. We are so grateful for Assurety's care. Any family who experiences their help will feel so lucky to have found them.

We moved my mother-in-law into Assurety Senior Care in Dec 2009. This is the best place we could find for her. She loves this place and has made friends there. They have many activities during the day and keep the residents active. All the staff is very friendly and always helpful. She seems to be more active now that we have her here. I enjoy visiting with her and the other residents. After meeting with Laura, I immediately put down a deposit for a room for my mother-in law. This was after visiting several other places. I will highly recommend Assurety Senior Care to anyone looking for the best care & peace of mind for their loved ones.

My friend has been living at this facility for over 5 years. Assurety is the place to have your loved one’s reside enjoying their golden years. It is a family oriented facility. They have many diverse recreational and educational activities for the residents to participate in. The dining room is always clean; the food is delicious made fresh daily and always well presented. The staff at Assurety from the owners to the caregivers are always friendly, helpful, and caring. I am extremely happy with the facility and the care they give. When I am in need of a senior living community I will be moving into Assurety Senior Care.
