The name alone tells me they’re out to price gouge. That location is NOT Natick South! Better to describe it as Natick East or Natick Center. Everyone knows South Natick is the most exclusive part of Natick. It seems they’re just calling this place Natick South in hopes of charging more money.

As a Professional working in the elder care field, I often visit assisted living facilities. The Residence at Natick South excels in all key areas, with staff who are consistently positive and dedicated. It is evident that they are enthusiastic about both the beautiful community and its residents. Our clients at The Residence at Natick South are happy and well cared for, which gives their family members peace of mind. Although there are several assisted living communities in the area to choose from, very few check all the boxes. The Residence of Natick South does just that and receives my highest recommendation.

As a professional mover manager, we have helped a few residents who now live at The Residence in Natick. I like to attend any events that communities host to learn more about the people who work there, try the food, and get a feel overall on the community - is the food good? Are the residents happy? Is the staff happy and helpful? I am often times in a position to give an honest opinion to the families and the aging parents and its only fair to assess the communities. My synopsis? The food is great, so are the people (staff and residents alike). The food: It's good. It's better than good. While I've had food from an event held there, the food was tasty and there was something for everyone. I appreciate the fact that residents can eat at any given time in the dining room. If you're curious, the chef makes this lemon cake that the residents (and I) love. Mind you, there are going to be days where some people love the food and some don't. You're going to find that anywhere, but here they really try to accommodate your individual needs. The staff: Everyone that I have met here has been pleasant, approachable and helpful. In working with a couple of residents there, I needed some support from the staff which they were happy to provide. The staff has been nothing but welcoming, offering to help or add assistance if needed (and wanted). This team realizes that this is the residents home. I can share that almost every time I go in to visit a client there, there is always something going on - whether its a crossword puzzle game, or hearing an author speak, or a happy hour on the patio! The team works to create a fun atmosphere for the residents. I will say that I've been impressed with the team, the food, the cake.

The clean and modern facility impressed us on our first tour. And the friendly and attentive staff made it even better. The whole team, especially Susan, made our loved one feel so welcomed, and clearly helped make a hard transition easier for all of us. Even the other residents have been so welcoming, and have gone out of their way to include our family in conversation, activities, etc. It's great to see them socializing and enjoying activities of interest that were too hard to make happen living alone. They seem to be thriving!

BE WARNED: They turn on the charm during a tour. The facility is beautiful. This is where it ends. Getting staff to respond in a timely manner is a near impossible feat. If you are a burnt out caregiver like myself, GO SOME PLACE ELSE so you are not banging your head against the wall trying to get a call or email back about anything and everything. It's like this all the way up through corporate. I wish we never chose this place. As for the actual care, I don't want to speak disparagingly since my mom is still there and I worry about retaliation. Just know it's all smoke and mirrors. Oh, toilet paper is also not included in housekeeping . They will have no problem contacting you then! Edited to respond to the facility: You would've been better off not even replying. Your canned response is a slap in the face. Your facility doesn't care. It didn't care to schedule a timely meeting when there were allegations of abuse. It didn't care when I was struggling to get the geri psych to visit- the same psych we were promised by Susan in sales that would be available. It doesn't care that I have emailed Dennis, Melissa, Shannon, Susan, Andrew, and Lisa over the course of weeks without a single response. And your facility won't improve. This mismanagement runs deep. It's a total bait and switch. You should probably start disclosing on the tour that a resident in memory care was locked out of the courtyard for so long that he eloped and was found on the street by a family member. Feel free to add in any of the other egregious events that have gone on. I am so glad we are leaving soon.

I had the pleasure of touring The Residence at South Natick while exploring assisted living options for my mother, and I was incredibly impressed by the warmth and professionalism of the entire team. From the moment I arrived, the experience was welcoming and thoughtful. (Special shout-out to Melissa who greeted me with a friendliness and warmth.) While my family ultimately made the decision to move my mother to New Jersey, I can confidently say that if we had chosen Massachusetts, The Residence at South Natick would have been our top choice. It’s a beautiful facility with a warm, inviting atmosphere and a wonderful range of amenities. The staff clearly care deeply about the residents and their families I would not hesitate to recommend it to others seeking a high-quality, compassionate senior living community.

My wife and I have been looking for a community for my in-laws and came across The Residence at Natick South based on multiple recommendations from trusted friends. We were incredibly impressed with the feel and vibe of the community here - from the beautiful architecture and grounds to the inviting nature of the staff and residents. So much was happening when we toured - a barre group exercise class, painting sessions, and residents playing games throughout the community. While we ended up deciding on a place closer to the other two children, this would have been our ideal location for my in-laws. So many different thoughtful spaces. The team members were very friendly and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking at options for senior communities. The residents we met along the way were happy and delightful, and the apartments were really stunning.

Our mother moved in recently (3+ months ago) and we have been extremely happy with the community/staff (sales, management, dining, care team, and maintenance). The community is well run and we would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for additional help/care for a loved one. We are glad to know she is enjoying the programming and staying engaged with all the activities. Worth adding this to the short list of communities to visit - it will be worth your time.

I recently visited The Residence at Natick South to inquire for a loved one, and was quite impressed with everything that I saw! The community is immaculate, beautiful, light and bright. The apartments are luxurious and comfortable. We had lunch and the chef was incredible. I ordered the Caesar salad and shrimp scampi and it was amazing. Honestly it was hard to choose from the daily specials or the varied always available menu. Everyone that I met was engaging and happy to be there whether for work or as a resident. I would highly recommend a visit if you are considering senior living as an option.

Update as of February 18th, 2025 As of July of 2023 we became an LCB Community....as with all new ownerships there are some things we are working on but the residents are still really nice and although there are still some issues it is slowly improving As LCB Senior Living still clean Residents are why I am still there Management could use some work though. This was when it was Anthology Senior Living.....Very clean and employees are very friendly.

Natick South is both beautiful clean. I am particularly impressed with management and their care team. I was there for the soup and stroll event in January and the food was amazing. The activity programs keep the residents both busy and happy. When choosing a place for your loved one, Natick South is the place to be!

My mom has been at The Residence at Natick South since June 2024. The facility is clean and modern, and the common areas are functional and attractive. The grounds are well-tended, and great for sitting or walking when the weather permits. The apartments are very well equipped, with kitchen, laundry and independent heating/cooling controls. The care team is great, and they work hard to support residents with very diverse needs. There are plenty of daily activities, including a selection of off-premises trips to shopping, museums, etc. The dining service has daily specials and an "any time" menu that has breakfast, lunch and dinner options that residents can order from. The management team is easy to reach, and has been responsive as issues arise that need to be addressed. My mom regularly tells me that she's happy that she lives there, with the care team she needs and friends she enjoys.

As with the previous review, my dad has been at The Residence at Natick South since its opening. I agree with the previous two reviews, they encapsulate The Residence and the staff well. So to not be repetitive, see below. My choice of The Residence was driven by my dad's disease and an anticipated steady health decline and increasing care level before transitioning to the memory care side. That transition came suddenly following a hospital stay. The staff and management have been wonderful in helping to facilitate this unexpected transition in a thoughtful and caring way.

My mom has been at The Residents of Natick South since the very first day they opened June 2023 (When it was Anthology) The building is modern, cheerful and sunny. Her apartment is one of the larger ones, with lots of light from several large windows, and there is ample space for living area and a large separate bedroom and bath. All units have laundry machines/dryers as well. The caretakers, concierge and directors are extremely friendly and well liked by residents and family members. There is a lot of laughter in the building and residents seem to enjoy each other’s company and their environment. They have been working hard on improving the daily activities and working on dining room management as well. We are looking forward to see what 2025 has in store!

My mom has been at The Residences at Natick South for 8 months. The staff, the facilities and the attention that she gets are excellent and truly special. To feel that when I am not visiting that she is living both an independent and protected lifestyle is exactly what the Residences provide. The superb front staff, the aides that truly care, the dedicated medical team, the kitchen staff, and the leadership team all make the Residences a place where I know that my mom can thrive. From the special meals and activities to the attention that she gets on a daily basis, I know that my mom is both living a new and special life which also allows my sister and myself to feel that her later years are a new opportunity to thrive.That is all that anybody could ask.
