My mother lived at Harmony House from Dec 2020 - Oct 2021 in Touchstones unit. Because of Covid restrictions, I was unable to visit her for the first four months of that time. She was unable to talk on the phone with me because of hearing difficulties. I called often to check on Mom and my calls were always answered or returned by the Administrator. And in God's providence, Mom thought the Administrator was ME, which provided great comfort as I had been her primary caregiver for the previous 2 years. Covid made this time so much more difficult, and Mom had a stubbornness that she claimed as her family heritage! Prior to this period, Mom struggled adapting in another facility for a brief time. When she needed another place, Harmony House offered a spot in the dementia unit as a better fit for her. When I finally did get to visit in person, the first time, I was assured by her demeanor and appearance that she had been cared for. And the Administrator always informed me of anything pertaining to Mom that I needed to know. I was able to take Mom out in my car and visit outside the facility with her until Covid protocols and quarantine went into effect again. Things weren't perfect, neither were things perfect while I cared for Mom in her home. But I am grateful to Harmony House management and staff for caring for my mom until she was ushered home by her Lord to the only place where "harmony" exists in perfection and is heard clearly, without difficulty.

I have a friend who resides at Harmony House and that person is very happy there. I also work there and know our staff cares about the residents they care for daily. If the person who wrote the review about how disgruntled they are with Harmony House doesn't have the decency to present their concerns to the management or to put their name on the review then I consider it a non-valid review. Maybe that person just wants to try and destroy Harmony House Manor by their comments because their employment didn't work out there, who knows? I can't imagine if they actually had a resident living there they wouldn't have contacted the management or the State if they were that unhappy. They will be repaid someday for these untruths. God doesn't like it when people give false accusations.

I am within this facility several times a week. I have NEVER seen any abuse by staff. I have also fed the patients that I have and their and their meals seemed good to me. I also interact with the aides that are there and they seem to like what they are doing. They do care for the residents. I have never had any issues with staff. They are there for the residents. I was reading the other posts about this place and it seems that there are some disgruntled former employees. Someone that needs to hide behind an alias name and not be able to stand up and be a man/woman. It is sad that someone would deliberately trash a business for their own personal gain.

Beautiful place. Residents are well taken care of by the caring and attentive staff. Doctors address concerns promptly. Activities promote well being and regular music therapy provides comfort. Rooms are spacious. Common areas with comfortable couches and ample room for patients to socialize and enjoy time with one another.
