We were very hesitant to make the move from one Assisted Living to another... but we did. My sister had been so miserable... Benchmark has been such a wonderful decision all around!!! The staff, the residents, the activities, the food, the trips... absolutely wonderful!! As soon as you walk through the front door, you can feel the difference! Make sure you do your homework before choosing an Assistive Living facility !

I go to visit with my boyfriend his brother at Benchmark in Hanover. I am always so impressed how friendly all the staff are and how they really care about their patients. Also Benchmark in Hanover is always so clean. It's a good feeling knowing your family is in good hands.

I lost my father about a month ago. Since then my mother's been here and what a 180 degree turn around Benchmark was able to deliver. Ever since, each day she's doing better and better which is such an amazing turn around and a gift to our entire family. Thank you Benchmark!

I have visited a friend at Benchmark on 3 occasions in the last several weeks and am more impressed with the place, on each visit. It is clean, and contemporary with great food and ambiance. It feels like a nice hotel versus an assisted living residence. Staff are there when needed, in a supportive way. My friend has had the opportunity to make new friends at meals and activities and seems to be thriving at Benchmark!

I am so happy that my mother is staying here at Benchmark. The staff act more like friends than employees here and that makes the environment far more pleasant for her and my siblings. Everyone does such a great job keeping the residents busy and entertained and safe that it takes a huge amount of stress away from a difficult situation. We love this place for our mother! My mother is in the memory care unit there, and they treat her like family. Tatiana runs the memory care unit and she is awesome, and so is her staff! Tatiana arranged a birthday party for my mother there, creating a great day for everyone! My mother had a wonderful time! Thank you Benchmark!

I love my job at Benchmark!! After watching my father's struggles with Alzheimer's, I felt strongly called to work in a memory care setting, to be there for people and the families of those experiencing the same challenges we faced! I was fortunate to get a job as a program coordinator in Harbor (Mind & Memory Care) and I absolutely love planning the fun things we get to experience with our residents. My boss Tatiana is over the top wonderful...not enough words! The RCA's genuinely love the residents ... and work with an "all in it together" attitude so I'm never left to run programs unsupported! I love and appreciate every one of my coworkers as well as the management team. It's truly a wonderful place to work!

Benchmark at Hanover was a wonderful place to work, and an even better place for the residents to live! The building had so many amenities for the residents, and a variety of activities were always available to encourage the residents to keep up with their hobbies or even discover something new. The management was very attentive to the staff and the residents and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. I would recommend this community to everyone!

I came to Benchmark at Hanover in July & feel like I've found a home. I am a wellness RN & part of an amazing team. Our nursing team is friendly, helpful, kind, & understanding-simply, the best I've worked with in my 30 year career. This is a new experience for me; at previous jobs, there was back stabbing, dishonesty, and a good deal of selfishness. Our wellness team is a breath of fresh air. I was only here 6 weeks when my mom was diagnosed w/ oral cancer. This caused a great deal of upset in every aspect of my life, including my job. This brings me to my boss, Marissa Smith. She is supportive, fair, understanding, honest, funny, helpful & caring. She has offered guidance & advice without diminishing me. Marissa is a fabulous boss & has become an invaluable part of my life. I am treated respectfully by all team members. I have formed many meaningful relationships with our residents & their families. This is my favorite & most important part of my job. I am impressed with Benchmark as a whole; benefits are great & I work with a nursing team & residents that I love!

My mom moved to the memory care unit at Benchmark in December and she has never been happier! She absolutely loves it here and we do too! We are so relieved that we found such a great community for her to be apart of where we know she is being well taken care of. Tatiana is the head of the memory care unit and goes above and beyond and always keeps us updated! All of the staff are so friendly and caring, from the nurses, receptionists, to activity coordinators they have all been so great! You can tell they truly care about the residents. There are so many different activities every day and my mom has had so much fun. I would highly recommend Benchmark to anyone!

My father moved into Benchmark at the end of December 2022 and couldn't be more pleased. At 92, he was ready for an assisted living facility. The staff is exceptional. The facility is gorgeous. The food is varied and delicious! There are multiple activities available every single day and residents can opt in or out as they see fit. While we have had great interactions with many of the staff, Cassidy Burke, the Traditional Care Director is an exceptional standout! We made the right choice with Benchmark! Update: My Dad, unfortunately, passed away in mid January due to an ongoing heart condition. His decline was slow in the beginning but rapid towards the end. The care, concern, and love that he received from the staff at Benchmark was above and beyond. They not only respected the process and the difficulty that I as his daughter, was going through, but they also committed the resources and time that was needed towards the end to make my Dad feel cared for and respected. My Dad LOVED his year at Benchmark. I would recommend this facility to anyone!

After one year, my feelings have not changed, and I have gained more respect for the people at Benchmark At Hanover. They are still amazing! They treat my family member with respect and extend the same kindness to all of us when we visit. I am so relieved that my family member is safe, well cared for, and happy in the Harbor Unit. I am blessed to have found this truly loving environment to care for her, encourage her to be a part of a community, to listen to her, and laugh with her. They have not allowed dementia to stifle her innate personality.

My mom has been a resident in Benchmark Hanover since October. Every aspect of the community has exceeded expectations and the staff has been instrumental in helping her adjust to her new residence. The entire staff, from receptionists, chefs, & servers, are great, and very caring towards the residents. The level of care and attention from the nursing team and aides is exceptional, and the administrative department has been readily accessible to help with any and all questions. Mom has settled in nicely, and I'm at ease knowing the level of care and kindness she's greeted with every day.

I visited my aunt and uncle today at the Hanover Benchmark. They love it. The facility was beautiful and beautifully decorated. The staff was attentive and welcoming. Im so happy my family is in good hands. Would recommend this facility, which feels like a luxury hotel, to anyone in need of assisted living.

My husband and love of my life was diagnosed with Alzheimer's ten years ago. Sadly, things reached the point that I had to place him in a memory care facility. This was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. That being said, I know I've done the best thing for my husband and our family. I cannot praise the staff at Benchmark at Hanover enough! They are all very loving and caring. They keep the residents engaged with a wide variety of activities throughout the day. The facility is state of the art. I love the flexibility to take my husband into the assisted living areas for activities and dinning if I choose to do so. Our family looked at many places and none of them compared to Benchmark's memory care. I also have a brother that needed assisted living care and moved him to Benchmark as well. He too is very pleased with his new living arrangements. Thank you Benchmark for all you do for my husband, my brother and my family.

As everyone knows, it is a difficult decision to put your loved one in an assisted living. Benchmark at Hanover has made this decision one that was not a regret. Their memory care unit is the best at keeping our cousin happy, healthy, safe and enjoying her new home. Tatiana has been the best!! She has kept us informed about our cousins daily activities and well being. Anytime we have called in need of any kind of information everyone has been pleasant and helpful. We live out of state which make this an even more difficult situation that the Benchmark staff has made so much easier for us!

Service was splendid, and comforting to my family during our visit. The amazing staff was welcoming to me and my children to the point where I found myself in the position of being begged to stay. As a mother, I can see myself staying there, taking use of all the resources and opportunities available in the future. I highly recommend this hidden gem in the outskirts of the Hanover mall, as a place to house the ones you deeply love, and care for. Giving them a chance to experience all the service, and thrilling activities as they reach their golden years.

Mom moved to the memory care side of Benchmark this November. It was a hard decision but so happy we decided on Benchmark @Hanover. The warmth you feel from all the employees makes this place a loving home. Titiana is the head of the memory side and as absolutely wonderful! She is kind and loving to all the residents!! Valarie runs the activities and is terrific!! She brings so many wonderful creative projects for the residents to do! All the nurses, RCA people, girls cooking and helping the residents eat are so warm and in tune with all the residents. Truly Benchmark is an absolutely wonderful home! It is so difficult to watch our Mom lose her memory to Alzheimer's but also so wonderful to see her smiling, enjoying her activities, feeling safe and secure! Benchmark has proven to be a beautiful home for Mom.

We found Benchmark for our brother as it was being completed and preparing for the grand opening. The architecture and decor is beautiful, luxurious and comfortable. That being said, the true asset of Benchmark in Hanover is its caring and experienced staff. Feliciano, Marissa and their entire team evoke an atmosphere of dignified and quality care for all of the residents. Our observation is of a community of residents that have become neighbors and friends. We are happy to find such a great living alternative for our brother.

Louise Bishop- My sister Elaine is a resident on the mind and memory unit. Our family is very pleased with her care. We have found the unit Director Tatiana to be an asset. Her prompt responses to our concerns relieves our family of anxiety. She has an excellent rapport with both Elaine and family and she goes above and beyond to see that all Elaine's needs are met in a timely fashion. The ancillary staff are very friendly and pleasant they are always attentive and willing to assist with problem-solving when issues develop. The activity program is great and we have observed residents participating and enjoying themselves on a regular basis. We feel the transition to Benchmark has been a very positive one for Elaine and has made this difficult time a lot easier on all of us.
