This facility is so wonderful!! It has a modern, elegant environment and is very clean.. The rooms are spacious with kitchenettes. The staff is very friendly and professional. They go out of their way to take care of people. And my mother, who is a picky eater, said that the food was even good. Very happy we found such a great place.

It was my first time at Sarah Moore, visiting my Aunt. I was so impressed with the cleanliness, beauty and thoughtfulness of the spaces and how it felt more like a beautiful estate than a care facility! I also got to witness how kind, friendly, attentive and thourough the staff is as they collected my Aunt from the common area where we were watching the finches play (yes, darling exotic finches in a beautiful viewing enclosure) to take her for a blood sugar check before serving her dinner, which was offered at the large table in that area if she chose there instead of eating in her room. She did, and was greeted by other residents that introduced themselves and welcomed her. It was honestly such a lovely experience that far exceeded my expectations!

Sarah Moore was the perfect home away from home for Dad while he worked with PT to get strong enough to return to his home. The care was both personal and professional together providing the best scenario for his improvement. My mom is very happy where she’s at. She likes people around. She’s smiling for a change and she looks like she’s getting healthier. She’s able to stand up on her own thumb and she hasn’t been able to do that for a while. I highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough about this facility! It was wonderful and the staff went out of their way to help you! It was almost as good as being in your own home! Maybe it was better because if needed you had experienced help right there! I was blessed to be able to recuperate with such caring, loving people! Cudos to my PT personnel too! Our experience The nurse in charge of Margaret Rm #244, was very good and she listened to our concerns. However, when we came to visit Margaret on Saturday morning, the 27th, as we approached her closed door, she was yelling help,help! We walked in and saw a very distressed, scared and weakened, Margaret lying awkwardly on the bed. She just wanted water. We gave her water and noticed how much her lips were peeling so we moisturize them with Aquaphor and smooth lotion gently on her arms. We also fed her pudding and ginger ale. As she became hydrated, she looked and felt better. She’s too weak to feed herself and doesn’t have her upper and lower partials in, so she can’t eat solid food. Her lunch came and it was all solid food that she could not eat. She definitely needs pur©e food and someone to feed it to her. In the four hours we were there, only the lunch lady and the nurse who tried to give Margaret her pills, came in the room. Margaret is too weak to even press her button for help. In general, I don’t think it’s intentional neglect but it’s neglect of a patient who is loved by many and who is in your facility for care. Just her basic needs, need to be met. Your facility is beautiful, but unfortunately, we saw the other side that has negatively affected our loved one who we have in-trusted in your care. Sincerely, Cindy Hill 9/28/2025

My 92 mom is there for rehab from a fall. Nurse Dorthy is wonderful! And the rest of the staff is very nice. It's very clean and they try to accommodate my mom the best they can and they do a good job. We have her going to therapy and activities, which she enjoys and she now asked me to check about their assisted living program that she might consider instead of living on her own by herself because she likes it there so much! So thank you Ohio Living Sarah Moore (Delaware branch) for making my mom's recovery so nice.

I've gone there after surgeries to convelesce three times times and I just love the place! The staff are awesome and do a great job in a way that you don't lose your dignity. They truly do care and it sure shows! It is a beautiful home to many. Oh and I can't forget to mention the dream team that is all things therapeutic, Amy, Bridget and, "oh what is his name again?" Uh, hmmmm, t'll come to me. But they are an amazing trio that get you to workout while making it fun. All in all this is the best place in Delaware. Oh and good food also!!

Sarah Moore has new technology to monitor when visitors enter and leave their facility. It only took a few minutes, worked quickly and efficiently, and apparently will remember me when I return again. This security measure really controls who is entering their buildings. Very simple, very safe.

This amazing place was a God sent for my dad and our family and continues to be for others that I love that have been blessed to land softly there. I swear the employees there are all angels in disguise. What a stellar place that truly care about not only their residents but bring that same care and peace of mind to their families. As a Director from another community, I came to assess a prospective resident that was at Sarah Moore for rehab. I was greeted and welcomed at the front doors. Jodi the 3rd floor nurse was also helpful and welcoming! I met JaVeah a resident aide in the hall and she was also with a smile! Way to go Sarah Moore. You have some awesome staff.

My father has been at the facility for approximately 7 months and the entire team from the Executive Director, the unit managers, nurses STNAs, culinary and housekeeping have been very accommodating and very friendly. They listen to your concerns and are very supportive to ensure your loved one is cared for. I highly recommend this facility!
