I am very grateful for the care my cousin is receiving at Long Beach Assisted Living. This is a large facility, but just several weeks after arriving, she reports that the staff there is friendly and caring and she feels safe and secure. Herself a caregiver for years before illness ended that career, she knows how exhausting personal assistance, food prep and housekeeping work can be, and she finds the employees very professional. The food at Long Beach Assisted Living is kosher and of a far better quality than she experienced in an earlier assisted living placement; and the dining room has views of the ocean that are incredibly beautiful. She makes friends at BINGO and other group activities. She loved the festive 4th of July party and viewing the fireworks over the ocean from the boardwalk benches with other residents. A rollator lets her enjoy walks on the boardwalk. When she has pain or other medical concerns, she can go see the nurse to be assessed and, if need be, referred to a doctor or hospital. Long Beach Assisted Living staff administers all her medications and sees to her nutritional needs, neither of which she can manage on her own, as well as providing laundry and housekeeping services, thereby permitting her to enjoy a simpler, more pleasant life with dignity.

This place is GREAT!!!! My sister was in independent living, where she was in her own apartment. As much as she loved her independence, she started to fall a lot and needs more assistance. she was also a hermit with no social life. Her life was nothing but doctors, food, and tv. In Long Beach Assisted living, she has friends, does activities everyday, they take care of her doctors and meals. And she is surrounded by life by living on the boardwalk. Seeing beautiful sunsets, etc... This place is great!!!

Located on the Long Beach Boardwalk, this updated (2014), clean and well run facility employs a highly professional and empathetic staff; security and tenant oversight is excellent; the well prepared kosher food is wholesome, tasty and much appreciated by all of the residents.

We recently had our mom admitted to Long Beach Assisted Living. They made the transition as stress free as possible. The staff was extremely helpful in settling her in. Kelly, the Director of Admissions was our guiding light. A huge thank you for helping us navigate the process.

This place is great! Kelly and Avi took a stressful event and made it as painless as possible during a pandemic. My family and I were not able to help my sister move in but the staff helped her set up her room. When we first visited the facility to see if this was a place for my sister, it was evident that there are people live there were content as a few walked up to say hi to Kelly. It shows Kelly and Avi are very hands on. They took time to pair my sister up with a fellow Mets fan which shows they gave thought to who would be a good match for my sister. They found a roommate for my sister that made the transition easier on a scary event. Best move we ever did was to mover my sister in here. Definite piece of mind.

When my good friend arrived back in 2016 the staff has always gone above and beyond to make his transition a smooth one. The staff continues to uphold a professional and sincere concern for his best interest, care and comfort. They always communicate with me when I have questions. My sister has been in Long Beach Assisted Living for the past three years. Literally from day one Avi and his team have been nothing but kind, supportive, compassionate and professional with a true and genuine interest in all of their residents. The staff of nurses, techs, aides and maintenance support carry this same feeling of care and concern. They treat their residents with dignity and respect. They offer PT services and many different social activities to get the residents up, moving and involved. The administrative staff is such a tremendous support to both the resident and the families as it relates to all the paperwork involved in Medicare, Medicaid, SSI and transportation. I have Avi's cell phone number and call him directly with any questions, concerns or assistance I may need with my sister. He either picks up my call immediately or calls or texts me back that same day. The open communication and willingness to help and be involved is incredible! The location of the facility is in the heart of Long Beach on the boardwalk and has million dollar view of the ocean. What an incredible picture to look at each day! We, the family, have such a peace of mind knowing that our sister (and daughter) is well taken care of every day! Thank you to Avi and your staff for all that you do to enhance and take care of the lives entrusted in your care!
