I came in to this unsupervised facility. The patients were running a muck. I am an Uber driver. I came to deliver a package that apparently was pain medication for a hospice patient. She was waiting in her wheelchair chair by the entrance. I could not get in the door. She signaled to me to push the door in. When I finally entered, she saw the package I had and it had her name on it. She said she had been waiting for a day and a half for this medication. She asked me to leave it with her and I just couldn’t. I asked if anyone was in charge and she said no one works on the weekends. And for the few here that are working are all at lunch . A woman finally came up to me and explained my reason for being there and she said- everyone is at lunch. A gentleman came up to her with a trach tube, and asked her to adjust his tube. She said hold on- she was texting. People all over the place in their wheelchairs and staff eating while walking up and down the hallway. Just a horrible sight to see. I know no one will care. But these people are human. They deserve better. I know it’s hard to find people, good people to work here or any assisted living facility.. man, this just breaks my heart. I don’t know. Humanity has left the building!

Lakewest is Great, my father gets the best care that he needs, the Med Tech Tihja i presume I spelled it right if I don’t I apologize But she is my father’s favorite he speak very highly of her she always look out for him making sure he actually take his meds bc normally he’s stingy she a great asset to the team great job keep it up!!

Vtoria, the Activity Director, brings so much energy and heart into everything she does”it really shows in the residents’ smiles. Tamika, the DON, is incredibly caring, attentive, and always advocates for the residents’ well-being. Mark, the Administrator, does an outstanding job creating a positive, supportive environment for both residents and staff. I can’t say enough good things about LakeWest Assisted Living. Vtoria and the rest of the staff are truly exceptional, compassionate, professional, and always going above and beyond to make sure that residents are cared for. Every time I visit, I’m greeted with warm smiles and a sense of community that’s hard to find elsewhere. The residents are just as wonderful, kind, engaging, and full of life. I love how caring and attentive most of the staff is here, but I hate their Wi-Fi service and that they won't do our laundry. They do your laundry at every other place that I've ever been to, and I don't think it's right that they don't do it here. And I hate how they won't give me back my pills, the way they distribute the medicine here is very lacking. But I am still thankful and feel very blessed to be here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Thank you to the ones who actually care about us residents, you know who you are and God bless you all ’

I went to visit a family member at Lake West Assisted Living and she was telling me how good the food is. And the food looked very good and the Manger Mrs Judy is very nice and I like the way she spend time with the residents. And also have a monthly meeting with them talking about the menu Mrs Judy is the sweetest person you could have ever met.

Visited this facility as an option for my mom and was met with great customer service, a positive attitude, and answers to my questions. The great customer service of the HR manager on the phone prompted my visit and made me feel at ease for my upcoming decision. Although we are still finalizing our decision this facility is at the top of our list.

Missed meds dosages, ran out of food twice, have taken no action to deal with Social Security account suspension, maintenance is slow to act.

This place is such a joy to come visit my mom now. We walked in here 18 months ago and it was crazy . Past 6-8 months has has had tremendous improvement. Office workers are fantastic. Mark, Mrs Bridgette, and Mrs. V have made so many improvements with this facility. It's comfortable and very nice to visit. Employees and residents are happier and have more smiles. Keep up the great work. I recommend this place for your parents.

This review is solely based off my interaction with Victoria during a tour to see if this facility would be good for my mom. I think it is a pretty decent place. They aren’t strict like a nursing home with rules and regulations. The people there can actually go out and live normal lives. Now back to Victoria, she was amazing, super helpful, and answered all of our questions. She was very personable, very easy to talk too and was just all around a positive vibe.
