My mom is going on her 3rd year living at Hoover Haus. She has dementia and now is bed ridden. Of course we have had some issues, what AL doesn't, but they've all been addressed quickly by Quinten and staff. They truly care about her and all of the residents. Everyone is super helpful and positive every time I'm there. I don't worry about her, she's in great hands. Oh and the facility doesn't smell. You know that smell that smacks you in the face at a lot of AL/nursing homes. They are super diligent on keeping it clean, bedding & laundry done & trash emptied. I recommend Hoover Haus to anyone needing a caring, safe, clean place for family members.

My grandmother has lived at Hoover Haus for a few years now. It’s an absolutely amazing place with the most AMAZING people that clearly love what they do. Every staff member I’ve interacted with has been unbelievably kind and just an overall good person. They also host events such as a Halloween party (which was about the most hilarious event I’ve ever attended, but I digress) which I think is nice. Thank you so much for loving and taking care of my grandmother in the way that you do.

Hoover Haus is a wonderful facility! Our mom lives there and we have the assurance we need to know she is safe and so well cared for. The staff is so caring and on top of everything! They are quick to call if mom needs us, no matter if it is big or small. We know they love mom and mom loves them. They helped us ease our mind while making this hard decision of where to place our mom. If you are looking for a safe place for your loved one, we highly recommend Hoover Haus. It’s affordable and they will take very good care of your special loved one.

This is the third facility we've moved my father into and definitely my favorite for him. They're not trying to impress or overwhelm with all their bells and whistles which he wouldn't use anyway. But you get a smaller group of residents and caretakers to build relationships with and it feels like everyone actually knows my father and really goes the extra mile for him.

We looked at numerous facilities before selecting Hoover Haus for my father. It was definitely the best choice for him and us. The personal attention and level of care was everything he needed. He liked the smaller, more home like atmosphere. My father told us that we found the perfect place because the owner/manager, Quinten, was the kindest and hardest working man he had seen in a long time. Quinten would sit and talk with him, but most importantly, he listened. My father appreciated that.

I feel secure knowing that my mom is at Hoover Haus. I know that she is safe and that the staff check on her often. Quinten is very responsive and will gladly discuss any concerns we may have regarding my mom.

Hoover Haus treats my dad like family. He is doing much better since moving to Hoover Haus from a larger assisted living facility. He is more content and happier. I am impressed with the care they give my dad.

This facility is like the extended family you choose to have. Quinten is amazing and treats my mom with kindness and patience. It is often difficult to know that you need to put a loved one in a retirement and/or assisted living facility. But at Hoover Haus it's like a second home and you know your loved one is still safe, respected and well cared for. Quinten and Hoover Haus take the stress away.

Im giving this place 5 stars because its been perfect for my dad. My dad can be very difficult. He can also be sweet. He has dementia and this place never faults him for his behavior. Older facility with good people who care. My dad wants to eat and watch tv all day and not be bothered by anything which they have allowed him to do. My sister is fortunate enough to live close by and they stop in almost everyday and he’s always ok.

Quinten and the staff at the Hoover Haus have been so great with my father. He has been there for almost 2 years. We love that they are supportive of dad's interests, they have a comfortable homey feeling facility. Dad loves the meals so much more than the previous facilities that he lives in.

Hoover Haus came through for my brother and I at a moment’s notice. It became apparent very quickly that our mom could no longer live alone. Hoover Haus was recommended by several people. It took one phone call to the owner/administrator Quinten Smith. He understood the dire situation we were in, needing to find a place almost immediately for mom, and within 48 hours we were moving her in. Quentin is very kind, understanding, and compassionate. His staff is the same. They work very hard to provide a safe, comfortable home for their residents, our mother included. Mom is now in a safe environment with caring people, and my brother and I can relax knowing how well she is cared for. We would highly recommend Hoover Haus to anyone who needs a place for their loved one.

Just before the pandemic hit Ohio, my dad was diagnosed with dementia. He was falling a lot and had a brain bleed, was confused most of the time about current events and had his first episode wandering away from his home. Thankfully he only went as far as a neighbors house. I contacted Hoover Haus but at the time there was only an opening for a female. Honestly Hoover Haus was in my top 2 choices to take my dad. He was put in the hospital just as the pandemic was in full force then went to rehabilitation after that. Knowing I had to find a permanent home for him I called all nursing homes with dementia care and was shocked mostly by the prices per month and by some of the negative reviews of the larger facilities. I took a chance and reached out to Hoover Haus again a couple weeks before being released from rehab, thankfully there was an opening. Quinten (Owner/Administrator) helped with the transition of getting him moved and settled in. I cannot thank Quinten, Rosemary and their caring & loving staff enough for the great care he gets on a daily basis. I highly recommend Hoover Haus to anyone needing placement for a loved one. They really do treat you like family and treat my dad as such.

I cannot say enough good things about Hoover Haus. They were extremely caring and took wonderful care of my mother during a very hard time. She was in desperate need of 24 hour assistance and care and the staff looked out for as if she was their own family. Her physical condition was deteriorating quickly, and they continued to meet every physical requirement needed to make her comfortable. Quinten, the owner even spent his money to make sure that she was comfortable. The staff was very attentive and respectful. I can't thank them enough.

Love love love Hoover Haus!!!! My mother lived here for two years and absolutely loved the workers, manager/owner!! She was previously in a high rated Nursing Facility but did not like it and felt afraid. When she arrived at Hoover Haus she was greeted with a loving/caring staff. Her room was warm and inviting. She was extremely comfortable and happy.
