My Mom has been at Wenatchee Highgate for about a month now. She's very happy with the care she receives and is very pleased with how patient, caring, friendly and compassionate the caregivers are. The facility is very clean and the decor is pleasant and comfortable. Highgate is a smaller facility so there's a sense of family, comfort and security. I am so happy and grateful to Highgate for the care provided to my Mom.

My dear, frail, 93-year-old mother has been at Highgate for one year. I have been very pleased with mom's care. I visit her often and have observed interactions and caregiving between my mom and staff (and also staff-to-staff interactions, indicating good teamwork and morale). I am very happy there is an RN on-site, and also a resident care coordinator. I have found all administrative staff readily available, gracious, good listeners and supportive of the family and their concerns. I recommend Highgate very reservation.

The leadership team is approachable and genuinely cares about the well-being of their employees, residents, and residents' families. Near and dear to my heart is our mission to help our residents live a life of purpose. I am so thankful to our Care Partners, Life Enhancement team and the rest of our team for doing what they can daily to achieve this, be it a small or large action. One of the coolest parts about working at Highgate is the company truly roots for you. The company invests in employee development, offering regular workshops and opportunities for career advancement. I can't recommend Highgate Senior Living enough to anyone looking for a purposeful and rewarding career.

I would like to recognize the outstanding job that Mireya Tovar does as a caregiver for my father at Highgate Senior Living. Dad moved to Highgate Senior Living last August under very difficult circumstances. His loving wife of 70 years had just passed away. In the midst of Dad's grief, Mireya has been an angel and a ray of sunshine. Her care of Dad goes above and beyond just performing her duties. She not only attends to his physical needs and cleaning his apartment, she does it in a cheerful manner in a way that respects his dignity. Mireya jokes with Dad; he looks forward to seeing her. When she recently returned after being away on vacation, Dad told her she needs to get his permission before leaving again! It is a relief to all of our family to know that Dad's care is in such capable and caring hands. We are so grateful to Mireya for all that she does for our dad.

We moved my 91 year old father into Highgate in August after the sudden passing of our mother and the love of his life of 70 years. We were wanting a smaller facility and several people including his geriatric physician recommended them. It would take too long to list everything we love about Highgate, but most important to us is the caring staff. They're all very hardworking, fun and compassionate individuals who go above and beyond in loving and caring for Dad and helping him through the grief stage to slowly moving on and knowing there are better days ahead. All of the care team is amazing and Dad loves kidding with all of them, but extra thanks to Mireya for all of your TLC, he's always so well groomed and speaks very highly of you; Marlana for your positive disposition and keeping things fun; Brooke and Rachel who wear many hats; Jean for being a great administrator and Kevin and Luke who go above and beyond in maintaining the facility and even covered my 1990 convertible with tarps in a drenching rainstorm! They all go the extra mile here and your loved one is in good hands and also lucky to live here if they ever have any openings.

My relative has been in a few facilities in the Wenatchee area over the past few years with Highgate being by far the best for his situation. The staff is caring, considerate, and keeps in constant touch with me regarding any and all concerns having to do with my relative. Most staff members seem to go above and beyond to do their best to care for the needs of their residents, no matter how difficult the situation may be. I cannot thank Highgate staff enough for the wonderful care that they provide.

Our Mother has been a resident at Highgate Wenatchee for about two years. From move in day thru all the COVID challenges, Highgate has been above and beyond top notch. Their care providers are dedicated, attentive, patient, and so very caring. Mom tells us regularly how she loves her up to date cozy one bedroom apartment. Communication with family is a priority, be it with the facility, or with Moms care. The administrators are easily accessible. The biggest test has come with COVID with lockdown, no visitors, meals delivered to rooms. Unlike many facilities, Highgate has managed to keep COVID out of the facility and keep our cherished family members safe. In the Summer, a large canopy tent was set up outside where residents could visit with family with masks and distancing. This Winter, there have been virtual visits and window visits. Mom loves seeing our faces! Highgate is one of the first long term care communities to have an in house vaccine clinic administered by employee RNs. Jean Lehman, executive director, has an amazing dedicated team who should be highly praised for their success.

Eight months ago, right in the middle of Covid, we found that we needed to move my mom to a more secure facility. At the time there were not many options as most places did have cases of Covid. We were very lucky to have Highgate available, Covid free and willing to work with us in making the move as smooth as it could possibly be. Due to the restrictions it has been a bit tough getting to know the personnel but of those I have gotten to know, I feel very comfortable knowing that my mom is being cared for and looked after by kind hearted and caring people.

I recommend Highgate to anyone looking for an assisted living HOME. That is precisely how it feels once inside. The interior is warm, inviting, and decorated beautifully; the dining room looks as if you walked into a 5-star restaurant (linen napkins!), and the staff treats you like family. They genuinely care for their residents and their family members. My parents reside at Highgate, and my father constantly tells me how caring, compassionate, and loving the aides are while assisting my mother with her daily needs. I am so grateful for the staff at Highgate - they are fantastic.

My Mom has been a resident at Highgate for nearly two years, having just celebrated her 100th birthday. What she rates most highly is the care and concern afforded her by the staff at Highgate. We agree, they are truly exceptional care-givers. Her apartment is always clean and comfortable and they have handled the COVID pandemic with great care and concern for the personal safety of each of their residents. While the isolation could not be helped, they have done as much as prudence would allow to afford visits with loved ones. Best of all, no COVID cases reported among residents or staff; that in itself speaks to the care staff has taken to protect themselves, their loved ones and those they care for at Highgate. Mom is very sharp for a woman of her years and she agrees with the foregoing assessment. She was a great cook so she does complain some about the food sometimes - unfounded in my view having dined there a few times - but she does appreciate the difficulty of meal preparation for some many different tastes and dietary needs. We feel great about Highgate knowing she is in a safe, secure and caring environment. Without reservation, we recommend Highgate for your loved one needed independent or assisted living.

When our Mom needed to find a care center after a hospital stay, we were given a list of approved centers in Wenatchee. We looked at five centers and Highgate clearly stood out at the best option for us. A very clean and comfortable place with a great group of people making up their staff. Also at the time we looked the lowest percentage of staff to residents. A professional Chef leads a great kitchen staff and makes wonderful food. Last they have three to five events a day for the residents to stay engaged. If you are considering that your family member needs more help, please consider Highgate.

I have worked at Highgate 8 years and by far the best place I have worked. After a long illness they are willing to take me back at my pace.The staff is great and very caring. I was a department head when I worked last so I knew most workers, residents and family. I will always recommend Highgate. Just remember you are hearing only one side when you read bad reviews.

My mother is extremely happy here. She was dreading having to move into an assisted living. She truly thought it would be like a nursing home. Much to her surprise, she has throughly enjoyed herself from day one. She loves the food and all the activities. I never thought she would participate as much as she is.
