From the moment you walk through the doors at Sedona Chapel Heights-Niagara Falls, it has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The residents appear happy, engaged, and well cared for, creating a genuine sense of community. The staff are always pleasant and welcoming. One of the most remarkable features is the art gallery located on the lower level- I believe it is the first senior art gallery created for older adults in a retirement home in Canada. Although I do not have a family member living at Sedona Chapel Heights, I have the privilege of being one of the artists welcomed into the gallery since it first opened. As a 55+ senior, I truly appreciate the wonderful opportunity to showcase my artwork each month and to be part of a senior community hub that recognizes and celebrates the vision and creativity of local artists. It has become a vibrant space that displays local works of art, opportunity to meet the artists and workshops that are open to the public while also giving residents daily access to inspiring artwork, providing visual stimulation, conversation and enjoyment. Also, an opportunity to create themselves. It is wonderful to see a community that values both resident wellbeing and local artistic talent. A very special thank you to Laura for her welcoming nature and inspirational vision to create this gallery. Her passion and dedication has truly created a unique space where art, community and connection come together. Also, thank you to everyone that has dedicated their time and energy to create this community. I highly recommend Chapel Heights for its innovative approach and commitment to enriching the lives of residents and the wider community.

Chapel Heights is an excellent retirement home facility. The staff are warm, compassionate, and always accommodating to both residents and their families. They go above and beyond to ensure that residents feel comfortable, safe, and welcome in their new home. Chapel Heights provides the support, services, and amenities that residents need to maintain a comfortable and enjoyable lifestyle. I never have to worry about my family member because I know they are safe and well cared for. They take excellent care of residents’ overall health, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. The nurses, PSWs, and other team members work together to provide personalized care and support, giving families peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in good hands.

My loved one moved into Chapel Heights a year ago this past February. I have been especially impressed by the nursing staff who go far and beyond what is expected of them. Shivani and Arshdeep, in particular, are always there to welcome you with a smile and always provide to each resident under their charge a holistic approach to heath. The atmosphere is extremely family oriented due to each one of the staff from the Recruiting and Office Managers to the Directors of Care, the receptionists and the kitchen, hospitality and maintenance crews and the personal support workers to name a few. I can easily sleep at night knowing that my loved one is in excellent hands.

Placing your loved one in an assisted living environment is never easy but selecting Chapel Heights as our dad's new home was the best decision we could have made for this season of his life. The location, food, staff and care has been outstanding. They have been supportive with regards to our family's involvement on a day to day basis. The availability of the pool area for the family has been an added bonus and has allowed dad to have family visiting on a regular basis. The Care Director as well as the extended team have all been very accommodating. Chapel Heights is a bright inviting space for all.

Chapel Heights has gone above and beyond to make sure my mom is happy. They allow her to keep her independence and provide amazing assisted care. My wife is a resident at Chapel Heights and I visit her every afternoon. As we walk the halls for exercise, we always stop by the window at the end of the hall to admire the three large pine trees planted in a small triangular plot. We named it 'Three Pines', taking the name from the fictional village at the heart of Louise Penny's novels. In her current novel, The Black Wolf, Penny reveals the origin of the name: Three pines planted in formation was an old code, meant to tell those fleeing for their lives [from the American Revolution] that they were finally safe. They had found sanctuary. As Penny goes on to explain, Whatever happened, they were not alone. There was help and company, and finally, at the end, there was comfort. A hand to hold. Chapel Heights has become our safe haven, our sanctuary. Thank you to all the staff for caring for both of us.

Mom has dementia and came here from another retirement home. We couldn't be more pleased! She went from never going out of her room at the previous place, to venturing out and interacting regularly with people daily. The staff is both responsive to our requests, and very proactive in mom's care. They keep us informed at all points. We feel comfortable that mom is safe.

This residence is nothing short of amazing! They welcomed my mother with open arms and she is happier than shes been for years. The staff here are beyond kind and considerate. They geninely care for the overall health and happiness of their clients. They go out of their way every day to make sure my mother has everything she needs and is always invited and included in the many activities daily. The Doctor can come straight to her, the hairdresser is down the hall, and the hearing test and other services are all appreciated. Looking forward to a swim in the salt water pool soon too! Chapel Heights is one of the best decisions we ever made! Thanks for being awesome 🙂

We would love to say what an amazing place for our parents! Mom and dad were in a 1 bedroom on the second floor as dad required special medical care. The whole process starting with Kim Cairns who introduced us to Chapel Heights, Connie the owner, Grazielle the DOC and all the rpn’s and psw’s we couldn’t have asked for a more meticulous well trained group of people who each worked well to make a home for mom and dad! The love and care they had for mom and dad was shown in all that they did! They show great respect towards the residents and were so good at communicating to them and the family each step of the way! They have very high standards and we were always confident they got the best of care! Unfortunately mom and dad have passed but we highly recommend Chapel Heights to any family requiring care for their parents but also a place they can call home! Thanks Dave and Sue Smith

My parents received exceptional care from the staff on the 2nd floor. The manager, Connie Spiece, and Director of Care, Grazielle Simon, went above and beyond to accommodate my parents dynamic and changing needs especially in very challenging times. The staff's compassion and care for all of us was touching and much appreciated. It was important for our family to know that they were well cared for. The Concierge staff were always so welcoming and helpful. A special thank you to Maddy for her piano playing. Keep it up. My parents loved it!

I've been looking for a retirement home for my aunt in the Niagara region. I visited 5 homes in the area and Chapel Heights is head & shoulders above the rest. Their level of care for the residents is spectacular. The grounds and building are a perfect fit for my aunt and its central location make it a perfect fit for the family. The most important and deciding factor in our decision was the personal attention we received from the staff at Chapel Heights. Connie provided us with all the information we needed to make this important decision for my aunt. Not only is Connie a nurse but she's in charge of running the entire facility. She still found the time to call me and answer all my concerns. Connie runs the place like it's her family residing there and that's very important to be able to trust someone with your loved one. Thanks Connie for making this difficult decision easy 4 us ‘‘
