I have volunteered at the facility for the past few weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed my time! The residents seem happy and the staff appears to have a passion/gift for taking care of them. It is wonderful to be able to serve and be impactful in a nursing home that honors its mission!

Love that the Highlands bought The Nursing home. There's a change of air in this establishment. For the Good. Octavia is my husband nurse she was sweet as can be very efficient. Nice young nurse. Taylor had the front office. She was doing amazing. The other young lady in admissions was helpful and polite. I'm sad that I missed the luncheon earlier this week. Today is Black – Friday 11/28/25 I look forward to my next visit. I'm glad Melody Chrutchfield is not the Administrator anymore Look forward to meeting the new higher ups. I live over 100 miles away so my trips are every couple months but I'm in contact with the facility by mail and phone. Was pleased with today's visit everything felt very different and more at ease. My cousin is in here and it is an awesome place for him. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and all the employees are great. And It is so clean. I have read some bad reviews about it but from our experience we haven’t found anything that we dislike about it and my cousin loves it here. I really appreciate the time and care they give him. He was in the hospital before he came here and we thought he wouldn’t live much longer and he has done a complete turnaround since he came here He is walking on his own and dressing himself it is a amazing how much he has improved and I owe it all the the nurses and Rehab and all the staff they show that they truly care about him. And he feels like they are his family. So as for me and my family we feel this place is a blessing!! And have only good things to say about it!!

This is a lovely facility. It’s clean and up to date. The staff is friendly and caring. The residents that I’ve had contact with seem happy and content. The activities are amazing! Overall this is just a wonderful place for your loved one to be placed

expected! We are so appreciative of the care and concern our mother received here. The staff was so kind. I was impressed that they knew Mother and talked with me about their interactions with her. Patient Services dealt wit all questions and concerns.

I have had the experience of having my Mother In Law and my Aunt at Birmingham East. The compassion and care that the facility staff showed was exceptional. The building was clean and well keep. Therapy was exceptional. I would highly recommend Birmingham East to anyone looking for a great long term care facility.

The staff has always been very kind with my family member. Tracy has always been very helpful with any financial decisions that I have needed to make. The nursing staff works very hard to ensure the safety and well being of their patients.

My mother in law has been at this facility for a year now. Staff is very hard working, friendly and does a great job with care. She is very picky and says the food is delicious and i love that they have serveral choices when it comes to meals. Activities is always doing something fun and creative. Very nice home like feel to the entire facility.

Some of the staff is very friendly, the other half is very moody. The weekends are the worst, always short on staff. 1 nurse on staff for 23 patients and meds are late. Cna's barely come to work. Overall it was close to home, my mom stayed 30 days and I got tired of no improvements, poor food options and understaffed days and weekends so I took her home, couldn't be any worse there.

A great nursing faculty with awesome staff! The staff are friendly and offer each resident individualized care in a special way. The staff are also more than willing to answer any questions and/or concerns. This facility provides 5 Star Care to all that they serve, and they also ensure that the resident’s families are knowledgeable about all of the things going on!
