I wish I could give a better review, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing due to a lack of attentive care from the care team. When families place a loved one in a facility, they are putting a tremendous amount of trust in the staff to provide timely and appropriate care. In our case, that trust was repeatedly challenged. One of the most concerning issues involved a suspected urinary tract infection (UTI). Our family requested that a UTI test be performed, yet the concern went unaddressed for more than five days. During that time, there was no communication or sense of urgency from the staff. Had our family member been discharged as scheduled, she would have left the facility with the infection still unaddressed, potentially leading to much more serious health complications The delays in care, lack of follow-through, and poor responsiveness created unnecessary stress and anxiety for our entire family. Like always, there were some staff members who were kind and helpful, but when assessing the overall level of attentiveness and care, it was not what we expected or what our loved one deserved. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future residents and families receive the level of care, communication, and attention they should be able to rely on.

The staff from Bel Air at Teri Vista Nursing Facility truly provide outstanding service. From the moment you walk in your greeted with a heart warming smile by Miss Tina or Ashley Ubias! Tru is an excellent patient care giver, she’s absolutely a gift from God, especially when considering how well she cares for the patients she works with. Tru demonstrates professionalism, efficiency, and compassion in the work she does. It’s clear she and a few more of the patient care givers care about the people they serve, and that level of dedication does not go unnoticed.

It’s a wonderful place to have your loved ones. They have an awesome team here especially Miss Gwen Leon. She helped with admissions. I think she got my husband in here twice. The staff and everyone is wonderful.

Therapists are excellent at rehab. The food is outstanding. Many kudos to the chef. The major issue is with the nurse aides. They do not take their job seriously. Response to call button took any where from 45 minutes to an hour to respond. Several times an aide would come in and while taking vidals she would be on her cellphone Also they left my wife in bed instead of getting her up into a wheelchair. After discussing this situation with staff it didn’t change Often the therapist would have to get her up and roll her to therapy This took away from my wife’s therapy session.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at Bel Air. My mom has been in and out of SNFs since March. Bel Air surpasses all of the other facilities. The staff are friendly and caring. The Physical Therapists go above and beyond to help her make progress. All concerns have been addressed in a timely manner. The facility is beautiful and my mom loves the activities provided. She is in the rehab wing. Great job Bel Air at Teravista!

Worse place every run or better yet don't stop nor go in this facility should be close down or hiring ppl that really care about other ppl and take pride in there job,my husband with here for rehab he stayed one night and checked his self out the very next day,the cna never answered his call light for help for hours,and then when they did decide to come and check on his needs they told him that whatever he needed he could do it on his own after just being released from the hospital to there care for rehab with a full knee replacement,the bed to small he slept in a recliner the entire night and the cna never checked on him at all,this place is ridiculous they should be careful who they hire and State should come more often and the food is nasty and they serve a portion for a 3 years old child,smh

Do not go here if rehabilitating from an operation because you will not be able to get you pain medicine in a timely fashion. I don’t understand how most of the nurses are really great but then they have one in particular that just doesn’t care, just doesn’t know her job, is too busy with her life to wait on her current customers. I honestly don’t know why. But my advice DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! The therapy is great and most of staff is great but they don’t seem to be able to control this particular nurse.

Belair is a commendable facility with many strengths; however, I believe that when concerns are raised, it would be beneficial to see tangible improvements rather than solely receiving assurances of additional training. There appears to be a persistent challenge in resolving certain issues, which may contribute to difficulties in staff retention. Many dedicated staff members are experiencing high levels of workload, while some may lack the engagement that is essential for optimal patient care.

I stayed at Bel Air at Teravista for 2 weeks after being released form Scott & White in Round Rock, Texas after a fall resulting in a broken wrist and hip. Mark and Jamie did an excellent job with my physical therapy. Both Mazawee and Tiru brought the meals, assisted with showers and various other tasks. They always came fast, and with a smile, to help when the buzzer was pushed. Nurae Heather Vieira was my main contact. She was very attentive and more importantly, explained why things were being done a certain way. This set my mind at ease. I highly recommend Bel Air at Teravista. Noel Livaudais

This facility offers rehab and long term care. It seems to be a decent place. I think there is room for improvement. I understand that they have a lot of people to care for, however their response time could be better. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Update: I sent the feedback that Bel Air requested to the email address listed in their response. 3 weeks have passed and still no response. So their reply to my review is only for show. They don’t actually do anything about it. If your family member who is staying here has any sort of mental impairment, the staff here cannot handle it and will neglect them. The staff is polite and professional, but they just weren’t willing to invest any sort of time beyond 5-10 minutes with their patients. My elderly parent is a stroke survivor and has dementia, visual impairment, extensive short term memory issues., and is physically weak on one side. They let my parent go hungry every day. Every day we saw untouched food trays on the table even though we told the staff that my parent needs a visual aide in order to eat or possibly even someone to spoon feed them due to loss of mobility in one hand. We finally discharged my parent after 2 weeks of neglect because to they didn’t have the energy to participate in rehab on an empty stomach. When we discharged my parent, she needed an immediate shower because she appeared neglected. I wish it had been a positive experience, but it wasn’t. FYIhospitals also neglect patients who have these kind of impairments. The Bel Air at Teravista facility is beautiful and the rooms are very upscale, but that’s the only positive part of my parent’s stay there.

I am currently at the end of a 3 week stay here and I couldn't be happier with the care I have received. The nursing staff is caring and kind...special shout out to Maria and Patricia who have taken great care of me and feel more like friends than caregivers. The PT and OT therapists Mark and Asmara (she lets me call her Sid because I couldn't remember her first name) have been awesome at keeping my spirits up while working to get me back on my feet. These two people are great at their jobs as are also kind and caring. I couldn't have recovered from my injuries anywhere near as quickly without them. As for the unsung heroes at this facility: the kitchen staff prepares delicious meals every day, which is not easy when you're cooking for large numbers of people. The maintenance and housekeeping staff are also lovely people always ready to give patients here a smile and a bit of conversation...shout out to Corey who took time to talk to me when I was lonely. My mom recently spent time at Bel Air recovering from a severe case of Covid. She received excellent care and supervision by their nursing, admin and PT staff. . Highly recommend. Place was clean and well organized- Nurse Jessica was awesome!

My mom was admitted 17 days for rehab. Her team was attentive, caring, and compassionate. Natasha M., Tisha G., and her aide Joel were amazing. I am sure there were more, these are the names I remember. The physical and occupational therapy team also made an impact with their 5 days a week sessions. Mindy the social worker took the time to speak to our family about options for the care for our mom. I felt confident that the staff truly had my moms care first and foremost important. Again, the staff TOTALLY professional and ROCKED my moms care.

The Bel Air Nursing home provides excellent service. They are always ready to help. The Physical Therapy department is fabulous. Your loved one will be treated as if they are their own family member. This facility is one of the best! The staff was so thoughtful and personablethe ones I specifically dealt with were Ms Ballard, and her team Mindy and Melissa.
