The staff at the Beehive home at 6001 Whiteman are a wonderful group of people. My wife has been at this location for 4 months following a fall and broken hip plus further hospitalization. All of the staff are very caring and attentive to her needs. The kitchen staff prepare meals that makes one think of mom's home cooking. As my wife has swallowing issues the food is adapted for her very thoughtfully. Her drinks are thickened for her as a result. The atmosphere at the home is very caring and loving. The attention my wife receives is very caring and she is treated with the utmost of respect. Barbara the house manager is on top of every detail and responds immediately to any emergency. There are ample recreational opportunities available for residents in which to participate if able. The facility is kept very clean and any repairs needed are attended to very promptly. I don't believe I could have found a more friendly and warmer place for my wife to stay.

My mom was there for only a 2.5 month period. The staff had hearts of gold and were very caring and loving towards my mom. Clean, friendly, good food, and access to any questions we had was responded to right away. We had to move due to the fact that it is NOT a locked facility, hence the 4 stars. my mom was starting to get out quite often, and Montano is a very busy, dangerous street. That part was very scary. Moving her was not an easy thing for her...if only they could lock the doors, it would have been 5 stars.!

I travel around the city visiting multiple different facilities each week and BeeHive west is by far the best facility I visit. Monica, Kendra, Joy and all the staff are always welcoming, kind and willing to help. They truly care about their residents and love what they do. Monica is the best house manager around! I can not say enough wonderful things about Beehive west. Our mom has been there for just a little over 2 months and the staff is amazing. Not only are they professional, they treat our mom like family. I never worry when I'm at work because I know she is being cared for. Monica the house manager goes above and beyond for my mom. I love all the staff especially Linda, Desiree, marjun, Kendra, annalaya, and Georgia. They are very attentive and caring. Monica is on top of everything. She knows her job very well. Monica Dickinson manager of the Beehive is by far the most compassionate person I have encountered in an assisted living facility. She makes sure her residents get excellent care and uses best practices for their care. I have had the opportunity to refer many patients to this facility because of the low turn over rate of their staff. They are happy employees. Happy employees happy place. If it were my parents needing an assisted living with 24 hour caregivers, this would be the house. Evie Nottingham, Regional Administrator someone I have known for many years in the medical community is also a person that you can count on in making sure your loved one will get hands on personal care through her staff. Beehive Albuquerque West is a great home for your love ones. They really take pride in making sure the residents are taken care of. They have shown compassion to them and to their families. I visit the home twice a week and have got to witness first hand how warm and welcoming they are to anyone who walks through the door. The atmosphere is great! Joy is a great cook and you can see the residents and visitors really enjoy that as well!

The staff are such caring and supportive people. Each one gets to know the people in their care and take time to provide special care. Several times a week someone takes him out for walks around the neighborhood. The family setting makes it truly feel like home. I've eaten several meals with them and was so impressed by the food prepared by Joy (what an appropriate name!) It's a small, 14 person house. They do laundry by room so I don't have to worry about his items getting misplaced or lost! Kendra took time to explain that to me, which gave me peace of mind! She also helped explain the medication process when I had a question. My friend was badly in need of a shave. Desiree gathered all the necessary items and gave him a thorough shave. He felt so happy that she took the time and was so good at it. Being an independent 85 year old man, that's a huge deal! Monica Dickinson is an amazing house manager! She's quick to respond to any questions or concerns. When he was first settling in she even texted me a picture of him laughing out on the patio. That meant so much!

This community is unparalleled in their care and compassion; from the House Manager to their Administrator and all of the daily Care Staff and delightful meals, we could not be more appreciative of the team at BeeHive Homes! They demonstrated so many values including consistency, integrity, and warmth during this difficult time. I couldn't recommend this community enough! Shellie is now the Administrator and she has continued to demonstrate the same values to continue the legacy of what they do.

My mind is at ease knowing how well and genuinely taken care of my grandpa is at Beehive West. Monica and Shelly have hearts of gold and love the residents and coordinates care for them so well! The entire crew there is great! Sending loved ones to assisted living can be the most daunting experience and Beehive really helps take the anxiety out of the picture. I'm very happy with the care my grandpa is receiving. It really does feel like one big family there. Oh yeah, and there's also Marjun!!!!

My mother was a resident of Beehive Albuquerque West the last 2 years of her life. She was gracious but a fairly demanding person, She was a manager for AT&T in her professional life. In her final years she lost her eyesight and hearing, not to mention her memories. That isolation was difficult, but through it all the good people at Beehive Homes Albuquerque West along with Presbyterian Hospice (in her final few months) gave her loving comfort and care 24/7. I know because I visited multiple times a week and she was always well cared for. Her favorite place was sitting outside in the gazebo where she would often say 'this is such a nice place.' I enjoyed getting to know many of the other wonderful residents, staff, visiting comfort pets, and some of the visitors there as well. My mom passed peacefully last week at age 95. Honestly, I can't thank Beehive and Hospice enough for taking such good care of my mom. We chose this place after visiting many other locations and having friends and family who work(ed) for hospice recommend this particular Beehive. Based on my personal experience I know this place and their people are outstanding.

BeeHive ABQ West is exceptional home. I was able to stay with my mother 24/7 for her last two weeks of life most of the week prior when I was in town. I observed first hand the compassion and exceptional care provided by the staff members for each resident ranging from meals, to medication administration, to hygiene, to activities, to infection precautions...to name a few. Monica, the home manager, said it best, "If you have heart, the rest takes care of itself." Shellie, the home administrator, also went out of her way to insure that my mother's insurance coverage was optimized. Gerald, the home owner, even came in on a weekend night to replace a battery for a fire alarm mounted out of reach for the staff. He continually sought feedback on our experience. BeeHive of ABQ West was a gift to my mother and me.

I cannot speak highly enough of Beehive Albuquerque West and all the staff. While this is an Assisted Living Facility, it feels more like a home. The caregivers feel more like family and genuinely care. Monica is the house manager and leads by example, she is a compassionate and caring individual who not only knows her job well but genuinely cares and loves each and every resident. My Mom has been at Beehive Albuquerque West for a year. While it was a difficult decision to place my mom in assisted living, we were quickly put at ease because of the caring family like atmosphere. She developed bonds with her caregivers and we often received text messages with pictures of her enjoying activities. My mom entered Beehive at the height of COVID restrictions so we were not able to have in person visits in the beginning but it gave us much comfort knowing she was in good hands. One year later, I can honestly say that our entire family has developed close bonds with not only Monica but all the wonderful caregivers at Beehive. Sadly my mom is in her final days but I know that we have a forever family at Beehive and I sincerely hope and anticipate that my Dad will eventually receive the same loving care at Beehive Albuquerque West.

Our family cannot say enough about how wonderful Beehive is. They have an incredibly caring staff, they stay in touch with the family, our father's room was always immaculate, he loved the food, and they took very good care of him. We always knew dad was safe and well cared for. It's a great place and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for care for a family member.
