It is an honor and a privilege to document what the Providence of Fairfax community has brought to my life. I arrived here after a debilitating illness made living by myself impossible. Thanks to the fantastic efforts of Lena Dingle, my daughters were able to arrange a direct move in from the health care system. I have been growing in mind, body, and spirit ever since. The staff, members, and facilities of Providence has given me a new lease on life.i

My MIL has been here for about a year. The facility and the staff our great. She is very happy there. She has made a small group of friends that have meals and do activities together. She loves the food. She feels well taken care there. The reason I am only giving 3 stars is because we have been forced to use their in house prescription service instead of Tricare for life. For some reason, the staff has a real problem with using anything but their provider, Omnicare. We tried hard to get them to use Tricare. But it was always a hassle.... having to go back and forth to the Tricare pharmacy, multiple phone calls and in-person visits to get one prescription in order. So, in order for my MIL to get her medicine, we have to use Omnicare. So, she pays hundreds of dollars a month on medication that would be free if filled through Tricare. When we were lookin at the Providence, we asked if Tricare would be a problem and were told it would be fine. For a facility physically located in an area with a lot of retired military, it makes no sense why this is the way it is. Again, my MIL is very happy there... so we are not intending on moving her. I just wish they could get Tricare use squared away.

My mom has been at the Providence Fairfax for a little over a month and I can't say enough great things about this facility. The staff are caring and work hard to do their best for each resident. I feel very fortunate to have found this caring community for my mom.

I recently had a tour of the Providence and had a wonderful visit. I met with their executive director who had a very calming demeanor to him. He took me around the community and while doing so, he made sure he said hello to every staff member and resident. They all were so excited to talk to him. You could tell each person has a wonderful connection with him. Was great to see as I have toured many other communities and you simply just don't see this type of interactions. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

I cannot say enough kind words about the Providence. My parents relocated from NY to the Providence and the whole process was wonderful. They were very accommodating, answering numerous questions and when my parents arrived, they were great with setting up technology and even repairing a file cabinet that got damaged in the move. The location in great, the activities are great and as my father says "The dining room is very opulent!". My family highly recommends the Providence.

Providence is a state of the art retirement community with fantastic amenities. Staff members including Karen and Gloria are so hospitable and caring. If you are looking for a place for your elderly loved one(s), please take a tour of Providence!

The Providence Fairfax shines like a 5 star hotel offering residents many ways to thrive, make new friends and fully enjoy their retirement years. Activities abound and food selections from the multiple restaurants more than fulfill the needs of all palettes. The leadership at The Providence Fairfax with the current Executive Director at the helm is stellar and her team demonstrates genuine compassion and care for all it's members. I speak from experience. Don't overlook The Providence Fairfax in your search for a new retirement community. It's truly a gem!!

TP Fairfax is a beautiful place for my mom. She is in good hands and I know she is safe. The food is great and the activities available are wonderful and keep them busy. No other place like it!!! Please go meet the staff and see the facility you will leave feeling warm and know this is the best place for your aging parents!!!

The Providence has been warm and inviting, safe and clean, and keeping the best interests of my Mother as their focus. Every person, from the Nayas to the Chefs, to the Administrators make me feel that my mom is in the right place for this next chapter in her life. My Momma is happy as a lark. I get to be her son again without worrying about her wellbeing and safety everyday.

Very nice facility with very friendly staff. The restaurant inside looks great and there is a rooftop area that can be used but is secure for safety. I would recommend staying here if you want a nice area with nice people and easy access to the metro. It is not within reasonable walking distance to any grocery store or convenience store though

This place absolutely blew me away! The facilities and amenities are what you'd expect from a resort. Having had all of my grandparents in different kinds of assisted living and memory care facilities, I wish I could have seen them live here at the Providence. From the five star food to the warm and knowledgeable staff to the spacious and comfortable rooms, the Providence truly distinguishes itself from other facilities in the area.
