Sorrento, what a wonderful place! The staff are incredibly caring, compassionate, and attentive, and the level of care provided has been exactly what my mom needed. From the moment she moved in, we felt welcomed and supported. Knowing that my mom is surrounded by such dedicated staff gives me complete peace of mind. The team truly goes above and beyond to ensure residents feel comfortable, valued, and cared for every day. I am beyond grateful and happy to have my mom at Sorrento. It has been an amazing experience for our family, and I would highly recommend Sorrento to anyone looking for a warm, caring, and supportive retirement residence.

Our family member was a resident for a short time as he got ill and passed away shortly after. Just wanted to say the place as nice as I looks and with all its services and staff is just a blood sucking operation, they will charge you horrific prices basically for any thing they can, from dining to personal care. For a shoe box room it’s over $5500 per month that’s on a 10x15 foot room roughly. Some of the staff was great while other dint care at all. Management is all sweet right up the hour you signed that contract then you are just another nobody. These people have no mercy and their accounting has much to learn in mathematics as they always screwed up the monthly statement. The food is nothing special make shift Italian. I think they are way over priced for the services and room they provide. Finally when our family member passed away 2 staff member that where close showed up to pay respects but as far as the establishment upper management not oven a phone call or other.

UPDATE : These past 4.6 years have been exactly what I wanted for my Mom , which is to ONLY worry about what to wear! She has made many friends, which is so wonderful! She always says that " We are like Family" She is so fond of all the staff members as well as all the nurses too! One of her favourite things to do there is BINGO!! I am happy that she is so well taken care of at Sorrento! My mom continues to enjoy living there. I myself have seen many changes including staff changes. Knowing people that have worked there and also many residents, they have the same concern which is mainly the food. There has been chefs there that have provided the residents great nutritious food and others not as healthy for our loved ones that live there and pay alot for it. I myself used to enjoy dining there but honestly the price for guests have risen a lot since the opening. Other than that, it truly is a beautiful place for the residents! With more and more people moving in, my mom has made many more friends

We recently helped a good friend move to Sorrento Retirement Residence. What a fantastic place if you are of Italian origin. All the staff is friendly and accommodating, they all went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I have to particularly mention Paula Sudano who gave us a comprehensive tour of the facility and helped us navigate the intricacies of completing the admission forms. Yesterday was moving day and she brought champagne to toast our friend’s admission. I know that our friend will enjoy the rest of his years there.

Beware of this place. They claim food is top notch Italian food. It is not!! On the assisted living floor where our mom was they would clean up once a week the rest of the time her room smelled like urine and hard to go in. She ended up falling too many times so they basically left her on the floor until paramedics arrived and told us they would not take her back. So they basically kicked her out and kept the $7,000 advance payment for the full month If you go here make sure you read the contract. It is basically a landlord and tenant agreement They are better off going into a long term care facility!!! At $3000 per month for a private room

My mom spent 1 month respite in Sorrento Retirement Residence while we were away on holidays, we kept in touch with her and she was having such a great time, all the staff are wonderful and welcoming. Upon our return she decided she wanted to stay, she said, "it has changed her life", she loves the beautiful residence and she loves all the social activities. Paola, who helped us with signing her up for respite has been so kind and helpful making the transition into permanent residency so easy. I am so happy knowing she is living each day amongst staff who welcomes her like family, and has a new social life with new friends. The residence is so beautiful and elegant, you feel like you're in a five star resort. Thank you all the staff at Sorrento Residence, your hard work and dedication is so greatly appreciated. To the entire staff at Sorrento, What a wonderful day! My mother hosted a family dinner in your private dining room to celebrate our daughter’s wedding. Everything was perfect. The chef prepared an excellent meal which we all enjoyed. Alberto and the staff took care of all our needs, from pouring the champagne, cutting the wedding cake and seeing to our every need with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. My family and I wanted you to know how pleased and happy we all are with your wonderful staff and the amazing service we received.‘ It made us all very happy!’• Especially my mom. She will never forget that day. °

What an incredible place. Alberto helped and planed my mothers 95 birthday at the home of which we had 16 kids all under 12. The associates went far beyond what was expected. They planed the menu wit me. It was excellent My mom is so happy here and so are all of us. They treat everyone there like their family. Thankyou so much for all you do Your the best

Sorrento Residences is a wonderful environment. We had to transition our parents as they could no longer take care of their health meals & home . From the first interaction we had my brother and I were very impressed not only with the home but with the team. They’ve been there for 2 months and all I can say is that the entire team have genuine care for these Seniors . They truly create a family feel and treat them like their own parents. They deeply care and do a wonderful job in accommodating different needs . Thank you to the team this is truly peace of mind knowing we have great support at Sorrento !

We checked mom and dad in because they were having trouble preparing meals and generally taking care of their home and health. All the staff have exceeded our every expectation. They are attentive, genuine, patient, and have often gone way beyond the call. I make it a point to share dinner on Thursdays when the pizza oven is fired up. Keep up the good work ! J.

I have lived in 5 retirement homes this was by far the best for rooms, food and staff. Not set up for assistive living though only independent. I miss this place greatly. It's not cheap and not much going on for entertainment but not nickel and diming like the chains. Food is first rate.
