Our experience at Northlake House was short, but very, very positive ! We reserved a room for my dad 6 weeks in advance of his target for leaving long term rehab, after he was hit by a car. Dad was 92 with keen cognition before the accident. He came out of 5 weeks in ICU with severe delerium/sundowner syndrome. We were counseled at Re hab, that he would need memory care going forward, as these conditions were not subsiding, as everyone in his orbit was hoping. 🙁 Crystal at NLH was a blessing to have found - to help us put this emotional and unexpected recommendation in process. **we toured 5-6 others and chose North Lake House. Crystal and the facility tour tipped the scales for us. She had so much compassion and experience to share with us, and we knew we would be in good hands. We moved dad to NLH on a Monday. The staff were very nice, helpful and patient...the chef was a character, and took pride to talk to all of us and cared about his menu.The facility is clean and very well cared for. 2 weeks before leaving long-term re-hab, our family and the therapists and staff at re-hab, all saw a BIG improvement in dads cognition and we even wondered if we might bring him home instead of a new residency for him in Memory care? We made the decision to continue with the plan at Northlake House for his safety and would get his new Dr. at Northlake House involved in any future decision to take him home. He improved so much more at NLH in just a single week, that when the Dr. saw him the following Monday after arriving, she did not hesitate to support us taking him home! We found our "angel", Crystal, and she and the nursing staff fastracked his discharge, so we could load him in the car- NOW ! 🙂 NLH has a 14 day notice discharge policy and had made all financial details smooth and transparent from day 1. We signed him out and off we went with HUGE smiles and tears flowing ! We came back and packed up his room over the next 2 daysand everyone was so gracious and happy he was able to get home as we all had always wanted ! My dad is doing GREAT at home ! His mind is 95% recovered from ICU effects. We thank NLH for the 8 week (total) relationship we had with them, and will absolutely recommend them to anyone who asks for a kind, clean and caring Memory care referral. Highly recommend Northlake house they have taken excellent care of our family member and have embraced him in this life transition. The nurses, activity coordinator and other employees are very welcoming and care a great deal about the well being of their residents. Very thankful for the kind and dedicated staff.

Northlake House has been an absolute blessing for our family. Watching a parent go through early onset Alzheimer’s is incredibly difficult, but from the moment my dad moved in, the staff has treated him with so much compassion, dignity, patience, and genuine love. The care team is truly exceptional. Every staff member we’ve met is dedicated, attentive, and deeply committed to the well-being of every resident. They don’t just provide care — they create a warm, supportive environment where residents feel valued, safe, and respected. Since being at Northlake House, my dad has done remarkably well. All I can say is wow…just…wow. I never thought I would ever find myself in a situation where I would have to find the right facility for my loved one. I’ve only ever heard bad rumors about senior living, especially memory care. But not this place. First off what caught me off guard was the atmosphere and environment. It was nothing like I expected. The tour was phenomenal and every concern and question was answered with detail and peace of mind. Tara the ED and Crystal the SM were genuine and intentional and so accommodating the entire time. This place and its staff have already overturned my opinion on establishments such as these and I will be considering heavily. Side Note: the courtyard with the dog and doghouse is such a cute touch!

My family and I can’t say enough good things about this nursing home! The staff truly go above and beyond for their residents — they’re kind and make everyone feel like family. The building is always clean and welcoming, and there are so many activities that keep residents happy and engaged. Knowing my loved one is cared for so well gives me so much peace of mind. Northlake House is one of the nicest assisted living/memory care communities I’ve seen in a long time, They have a great, cheerful staff who take care of the patients and always planning new activities and excursions for the residents to maintain their quality of life. Their care coordinator is well and informed and great at keeping everyone up to date on any concerns.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and welcoming.The facilities are clean and well-maintained, with a variety of amenities that are catered to all of needs. Food is DELICIOUS and there’s an extensive menu throughout the week.

The staff is upbeat and amazing, the food is delicious, the care is top notch and the activities are state of the art. They don’t just do crafts and play bingo; they go to concerts and eat seafood at the beach!
