I've been in many independent senior living communities. This one is bright, warm, yet modern and has energy! It has many amenities; such as two restaurants, a spa, a hair salon with botique clothing, a gym a beautiful pool, art studio and more. At the end of last year my father became ill and passed away, leaving my mom after 65 years of marriage. She had never lived alone and was understandably hesitant about moving out of the house they shared for the past 21 years into the unknown. She lived an hour away from me and I wanted her to be close by, so we began searching for options to relocate her and sell her home. Initially my Mom wanted another smaller home and was very much against living in a senior community. I explained to her that at her age "85" I do not want her to have to care for a house and maintain it like her and my father did for so many years. We looked at several homes online but all of them were older and would need a lot of work and upkeep. So we decided to go look at a senior community, the first one we visited felt very institutional because it had an assisted living and memory care wing which we did not need. My mom is overall very healthy for her age and has always been active. As the result of a referral from another assisted living community in the area, we came across Revel in Scottsdale on Indian Bend Rd. I went to the Revel website to send in an inquiry to take a tour and I got a call from a leasing consultant by the name of Stuart "Stu" Roush within the hour. He gave me a brief community overview on the phone and set up an up an appointment for us to tour the beautiful community and all of its amazing amenities. From the moment I met Stuart Roush at Revel, I knew my mom was in good hands. Stu welcomed us warmly, he gave us a thoughtful tour and truly listened to my mom’s concerns about moving from a single-family home into a senior community. He was incredibly patient and compassionate, introducing her to other residents with similar life experiences and showing her that this next chapter could still be full of life and connection. Stu went far beyond what we expected. He invited my mom to activities, arranged overnight stays so she could experience the community, and checked in often especially during the difficult holiday season after losing my dad. His kindness, patience, and genuine care helped my mom slowly regain confidence and envision a new life for herself. This past weekend, after 5 months of consideration, she officially moved in, and she is truly happy. I don’t believe this transition would have happened without Stu’s support. We are incredibly grateful for him and consider him part of our family now and a dear friend.

The minute we walked into Revel Scottsdale, we liked it. After meeting with Gwen , having a delightful meal and taking the tour we decided it would be our new home. We are looking forward to moving in soon and getting to know the happy residents and taking advantage of all the services it has to offer.

I recently toured Revel Scottsdale for my mom and cannot say enough wonderful things about it and especially the staff. Stuart Roush was professional, attentive, and is genuinely invested in the residents and their families. The community is beautiful and everyone we met, including residents, were so welcoming. The staff, including the salon and the restaurant (Christina and the Chef), have a sincere interest in the well-being of their residents.

I recently visited the Revel Scottsdale for a Blue Zones culinary tour event . What a beautiful facility! The chef prepared recipes from the Blue Zones American Kitchen cookbook: Sancocho Soup, Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos and Black Bean & Cactus Tostadas. Everything was delicious and everyone was so nice!

I recently visited Revel Scottsdale for an author event and happy hour, and I was absolutely blown away. Walking in felt like stepping into a high-end resort ” elegant d©cor, a warm atmosphere, and the friendliest staff. The garden-lined walkways are beautifully maintained and create such a peaceful, inviting vibe. Our event was held on the charming patio near the caf©, and it was prettier than many golf resort restaurants in the area! Every detail radiates luxury and comfort. My husband and I recently moved into Revel on Indian Bend Rd. We had been looking for a senior community for active adults and we found it at Revel! From the moment Gwen and Stewart found us the perfect floor plan and location, to our first dinner prepared by Chef Swan and wine selected by Dinning Room manager John we knew it was a great location. Rachel and Christina have made dinning in the restaurant and a casual drink at the bar fun! We highly recommend touring this great facility!

We visited a number of senior independent living communities. There are more out there than we initially thought so this took time. Revel on Indian Bend in Scottsdale was the clear winner supporting our interests and needs. Residents benefit from concierge, housekeeping and an in-house restaurant featuring a scratch cook kitchen. The chefs and servers work hard to recognize and meet different food preferences and alergy requests. You even get a monthly food budget that can be stretched to last the month. There are a wealth of group and independent activities that can help keep residents mentally and physically busy and healthy. Use the pool and splash pad. Frequent transportation to stores, the mall, the library are only a few of destinations on the calendar. Revel looks and feels like an upscale hotel. One of the strongest benefit are the super friendly and helpful staff and residents. You feel welcomed as soon as you step in the lobby. We worked with Gwen and would highly recommend her. She now feels like a best friend. The other leasing agent also took time to make sure we had outstanding treatment. At minimum, you owe it to make your own evaluation. Verify our opinion for yourself. Give Revel on Indian Bend a look. Ask for Gwen. Tell her Jacquelyn J's family asks that Gwen treats you as well as she treated and still treats us! Apartments include range / stove, refrigerator, clothes washer & dryer dishwasher and walk-in shower. Pet friendly!

I felt I was dismissed because I didn't have what they wanted. I had $100. Bills that were from the 50s. Because they were not in MINT condition, he felt they were not worth anything. I clearly read that if they were old and had a type of green ink, they were worth $30-40 more than just the $100. Which they did have, buy again felt dismissed and was in there for about 2 min.

I am a senior placement specialist and I was impressed by Revel. What a vibrant independent senior community! It's beautifully decorated as you walk in the door and you'll always be greeted by friendly residents and staff. The apartments are beautifully appointed, the food is exceptional and the attention to detail is superb in every way. You can be as social as you wish, with the many activities that go on daily. Call Gwen or Melinda for a tour and come visit. You'll see for yourself!

I moved into Revel Scottsdale the month it opened in 2022. It was the best decision I could ever have made! The property is beautiful and well maintained, all the apartments are well appointed with many thoughtful details. The staff is terrific, from concierge to restaurant and maintenance to activities and management directors, every aspect of our living arrangement is covered. Having moved from out of state, I have made many new friends. Some neighbors have moved from out of state, like me, and others have moved from homes and condos only a short distance away. I had some very specific requirements when I searched for my new home and Revel Scottsdale had them all: 24/7 concierge, restaurant on site, activities director on staff, heated pool and spa, gym and full amenities. Revel checks ALL those boxes and then some! Just outside your door at all times of the day there are exercise classes, games, movies, musical performances, excursions and best of all FRIENDS who care that you are here and check on you when you're not! It has made my retirement and move to Scottsdale better than I ever hoped it would be! Thanks, Revel!!

FYI--Inquired about a rental for family- rates are reasonable but they charge a $6000 (initiation fee) which isn't listed on their site. They justify it by offering a 2000$ 'discount' plus a free months rent to offset this astronomical cost. I would've signed a lease already but just can't justify a huge nonsensical fee. Haven't come across another location in PV or scottsdale that charges this

Revel is such a incredible community! I work in the senior housing industry and I'm familiar with communities all over the valley. Although there are several communities to choose from, Revel is very unique. I often see younger, more active seniors move to communities that offer assisted living, in addition to independent living, and they are often disappointed. They feel they are not always compatible with other seniors on campus and end up feeling like they have to look after their neighbors as opposed to enjoying a vibrant lifestyle. Other times, seniors will say that they'll stay at home until they need assisted living. So there they stay...alone, bored, isolated. No friends, no fun, no social support. Eating frozen meals for one. It breaks my heart. I try to share with them that there is an amazing lifestyle waiting for them at Revel. If COVID has taught us anything, it's that life is to be shared with others and enjoyed every day! Please, don't give it a second thought - just go take a tour and see how amazing life can be! Revel will certainly be my retirement choice!

Awesome new retirement community! unbelievable location in the heart of scottsdale, close to Everything you could want! On top of the building being brand new and squeaky clean it has a salt water pool and spa that's nicer than any resort I've been too! The staff is soo helpful, smart and responsive, which makes the place even More comfortable and their wonderful, wide approach to overall wellness in retirement living is what really sets this community above the others!

Kellie with Revel demonstrates the fun and classy environment Revel is founded on. She wrote the playbook for client service, and from our first meeting with her, I was "wowed" with what Revel represents as an inspiring community of like minded folks that would share in my zest for keeping active, from art classes, bridge games, day trips to explore the Sonoran Desert, to a chill day by the salt water pool. It's like camp every day but with gourmet inspired cuisine and no curfew. I would highly recommend taking a VIP tour with Kellie!

Visited this community for an event to connect with residents. It is very well planned and organized, and the units are beautiful. Staff was very helpful and kind. Masks were worn by staff to maintain safety of the residents. Would definitely recommend a visit to see if this community would be a right fit for your family member.
