what can I say? I worked here for a short period of time before becoming a respiratory therapist. Wasn’t the worst company the first time around. But the second time around it was so ghetto/So unorganized. I’m currently in school working on my MD.. they had their own vendetta. They fired me, but they would let the guy walk off the shelf go to his car and smoke weed. They have favorites and they allow this the manager She was just as terrible out there smoking weed with them. This is by far the worst company. I wouldn’t even let them take care of my dog. Their building was affected with bedbugs. And the company does not pay well. Overall, two out of five due to the management. And structure. I’m currently working on my MD. And Since then, I have started my own AFC home. Wish this company nothing but the best. But treat people how you wanna be treated and be kind to people.

My mother has been at Brookdale in Brighton for over seven years. The last six she has increasingly needed more help. We have been so incredibly blessed by Brenda and her team from Balanced Home Care. My mom currently has dementia, and I wouldn't be able to trust anyone else to watch over her care. They truly have been lifesavers to us!

I highly recommend Balanced Care at American House Lake Shore. From the very beginning, the Balanced Care Site Supervisor, who met my sister at the hospital, (former breast cancer, with stage four bone cancer metastasis, with paralysis), and she said they can take care or her. Balanced Care did everything very well and coordinated with hospice. If I was in my sister’s place, I would feel blessed to have such care.

The Balanced team took very good care of mom while she was in their care. The aides showed good patience and their supervisors were very helpful when we had questions to set up the care she needed. There was good communication whenever we needed anything. The supervisor even answered calls from my brother who would call in the evening hours. Bless her heart for that.

The employees at Balanced Care are caring and responsive. Whatever my mom needs they are there to help. They also communicate with my sister and I often to keep us updated on mom’s health.

Left my loved one in a wheelchair all night. High turnover and inexperienced workers. Company was not willing to work with us with no communication by e-mail or phone. Had to schedule a meeting with American House and them to get their attention.

Balanced Home Care has been caring for my mother for over two years. While no company is perfect, we’ve been very pleased over all with the staff in her community. It’s been a challenging few years but they’ve always had caring staff available 24 hours a day. Their corporate office is very responsive to (Justin is great) addressing any issues. We moved here from another facility (where I never felt my mother was well cared for) and been very confident in her care. I highly recommend the Balanced team.

We used Balanced Home Care to assist with our mom while she was also in hospice in her home. The entire staff was loving and attentive to my mom and I really appreciated the care they provided us while we couldn't always be with mom. While we worked the caregivers attended to mom's needs. Balanced Home Care at Oakmont Livonia has changed our lives. After our father passed away we moved our Mom to Oakmont. She was able to take her own meds and care for herself. But when her memory began to fail my sisters and I were calling daily to remind her to take her meds three times a day. She started telling us she had taken them and had not. When Balanced Home Care took over our lives changed. First of all the ladies are amazing. My Mom loves each and every one of them and they love her. It was quite important that Mom got her meds in a timely fashion and her life changed too...for the better. She is much healthier now!! Also she was not taking her eye drops at night. So Mom gets a visit from these wonderful people up to four times a day. Recently we had to add a cream and they got her meds and applied as needed and things cleared up! We love all of them too! We know there are other services we can take advantage of as needed. Peace of mind is important to family members, we know when we need another service Balanced Home Care will provide it with the same kind and caring detail they do now!!

My mother was admitted to Brookdale assisted living, Novi, in December of 2016. I wanted her to fit in, so I got her a partial assist package with Balanced home care. I quickly realized that most of the workers were not only good at their job, but that they honestly cared about the residents that they were taking care of. The supervisor of Balanced, in Novi, was a dedicated person named Tracy. Some of the others that filled her shoes, so that she could do the needed administrative tasks, were Laquisha, Tatyana, Andrea, Timeka, (the one in the hat) Lasha, Staveena, and Valerie. Each and every one of them helped me get through the tough times (after my mother had two strokes) that left her partially paralyzed. My mother ended up having Hospice care, in her apartment. She was often in pain, which I found difficult to manage. The workers of Balanced Home Care were consistently there to help my mother. Sincerely, Dennis Dasher

In home care...when you can get it. Mom has them contracted for transportation to and from meals, baths, help getting dressed, oxygen maintenance. ...which that charge for everything. But staff doesn't know how to switch oxygen from the main to travel tank. But it's $300 a month for this service. They take their time returning her to her room after meals. Seem to have turnover of staff and staff is not well trained. Would not recommend.
