therapy staff was great. cindy, mary bell, james, can't remember other names. bath attendants great. brownie, night nurse refused to give me meds as ordered and i spent night in pain. aides did best they could but understaffed. the admin staff i won't trust

This rehab SNF facility is absolutely AMAZING. I can’t speak highly enough of the great staff & the quality Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy they offer here. Great setting & highly attentive people who always have your safety in mind. I’ve been here for several weeks now due to a complicated femur fracture but I’m steadily getting better thanks to the great environment & encouragement I feel every day here. Our family had an incredible experience with Bothell Health Care while my mom, Bess, was recovering from a stroke. When she first arrived, she was struggling with speech, mobility, and cognition, and we were understandably worried about how she would manage during rehabilitation. From the very beginning, the staff made us feel supported and confident that she was in the right place. The nursing and care staff were attentive, compassionate, and truly patient with her as she worked through the challenges of recovery. Therapy was wonderful and played a huge role in helping her regain strength and confidence. The therapists were encouraging, knowledgeable, and clearly invested in her progress. One thing that surprised us was the food ” it was much better than we expected for a healthcare facility! My mom consistently cleaned her plate and actually looked forward to meals, which says a lot. What really made the biggest difference in her stay, though, was the Activity Department. Dan and his team were beyond exceptional. They made a real effort to include my mom in activities and adapt programs so she could participate despite the difficulties she was experiencing. Debbie introduced her to art classes, which turned out to be a complete game changer for her recovery and mood. The creativity and encouragement from the team helped her reconnect with things she enjoyed. We were also amazed by some of the unique programs they offered. The Activity Director spent time doing sensory activities with her and even introduced LEGO Therapy, which was incredibly engaging and beneficial for her cognition and coordination. It was something we had never seen offered in a rehab setting before, and it made a real difference. To top it all off, we finished her week attending a chili contest and music therapy session that was just incredible. The energy, joy, and sense of community in the building were wonderful to see, and it reminded us that recovery is about more than just medical care ” it’s about quality of life. We cannot recommend Bothell Health Care enough. The combination of skilled care, supportive therapy, engaging activities, and genuinely kind staff made a challenging time so much better for our family. We are incredibly grateful for everything they did for our mom.

I was thoroughly impressed by the staff (despite being shorthanded at times). I want to thank Mikel McKinnon for being so flexible and proactive when it came to honoring various requests I made on behalf of my moms overall sanity shortly after her arrival. I was thrilled to learn my mom went from dealing with a miserable, off putting weirdo to a peppy, optimistic bundle of joy. Buy this, my mom felt encouraged to engage with other people, build new relationships and entertain the thoughts of expanding her community ” one that isn’t cooped up or isolated from others, but enjoying the camaraderie of being at Bothell Healthcare with others that was in the same boat as she was in. I know Mikal was a busy lady and couldn’t always be available but woman I so appreciated her always getting back to me and answering all of my questions nevertheless. I want to thank Cameron Smith for not just doing his job. As we all know I have been given the title Slavedriver, it was nice to learn your title was Sergeant. That alone spoke volumes. I thank you for pushing my mom to her limit and beyond her limits. For equipping my mom for not just getting out of the skilled nursing facility but home, ON THE SECOND FLOOR. My hope, prayer and goal for my mom was for her to recover as close to 100% as humanly possible. Had my schedule been more flexible she would’ve been working just as hard outside of PT as she was in PT. Though it was hard to trust her progress by her own mouth (without me physically seeing it) but upon her discharge yesterday, I was thoroughly overwhelmed with joy. Jesus answered my prayers. Too bad I can’t post these delicious pictures I took or maybe I can, I just haven’t figured it out yet I picked Bothell Healthcare because of all the services it provided which worked in tangent with what my mom needed, but the icing on the cake was that it was up the street from my church. That’s a win-win in my book …

I will highly recommend Bothell Health Care for rehab from a mini-stroke (TIA). My wife received exceptional care, Physical and Occupational Therapies, and activities. The gym is well equipped and the staff top notch. Seven days a week she received PT and OT. After 40 days, she was able to return home. We would have preferred a longer stay, after winning 3 appeals, but we lost our 4th with the insurance company. The nursing staff is wonderful and caring.

I give it 2 stars because the PT and OT folks are great. The rest of it not so much. The food is astoundingly bad and the portions are tiny. Plus they keep serving me food I can't eat (restricted diet) so I have lost 4 pounds in 5 days. Communication is sorely lacking between staff as things seem to be forgotten from one shift to the next. I guess they're not used to patients who pay attention. It took 3 days to get my medications correct.

My mom was in this facility and had one shower in 3 1/2 weeks and no sponge baths either. I find this disturbing and unsanitary. It seemed like she got a decent amount of physical therapy but the food wasn’t good. She also had to wait up to half hour to get help to the bathroom. Two stars might be generous

I have been very happy with the staff. They are friendly, compassionate and do their best to accommodate my sister's needs. My sister is blind, and has other issues, but they are always good to her. It's been two years and I don't know how we could have existed without their care along with the Activities Director, and the many staff workers.

My husband and I highly recommend! My mother in law was very well taken care of! Beth was so welcoming and made it so much easier to leave her there in good hands! Leeza the nurse was also very helpful Fiona the physical therapist was fabulous. She helped my mother in law so much ‘‘‘ You can leave your loved ones here and know they are in good hands. ‘

The owners and staff genuinely care. Like most of these places they are underfunded by Medicaid and are often short staffed. They do an amazing job considering the many challenges.

My dearest friends mother is currently in this facility and while no place will ever be perfect, they certainly are in the top 5%. Staffing is always hard in an rehabilitation facility, but for those that are there, the care is compassionate and attentive. They have multiple activities offered, her progress has been better than 3 other facilities that she has been at, and their team of physical therapists are nothing short of stellar.

It's good when you got no options. Smells awful from front door on. No choosing meals. All the same. Old n expired taste in food. Supervised dude was cool. I had the alert light on for nearly 2 hrs til help arrived. I definitely not agree to come here again.

I could not appreciate a place more. My father is here in the last days of his life. These workers have been so genuinely caring and loving towards my dad. The owner, (who I didn't know she was the owner) came in and cared for my dad. She was amazing. Every worker I have met acts like they are caring for their own dad. I have seen it in the halls and observed it in every room! Wow! What a place!
