We have been privileged to know Ramona and Alin-along with their staff for the last 7 years as they diligently cared for our loved one. Her needs were always of primary concern and their love for her showed every single day in all the attention they gave her. Always loving, respectful, professional and kind. Pronghorn was home to our mother and we are extremely grateful.

Ramona, Alin and their team provide exceptional service and genuine care for all patients under Pronghorn's roof. My grandmother was a resident of theirs for 6 years. The staff facilitated our weekly Facetime calls, cross country visits, and made sure my grandfather was additionally cared for when he needed support as well. They provide personal, individual care for their residents but also personal contact to the families. My grandmother lived her last days surrounded by love in Pronghorn, and that is in no small part because of Ramona and Alin's heart for the work they do. We are forever grateful for how they loved my family well.

Pronghorn Assisted Living is absolutely the best care my uncle received up until he died. We could not have found a better place for him to be residing at during end of life. Owners Ramona and Alin and staff were professional, kind, compassionate, and dignified towards our uncle and the other clients. The home is run at the highest standards and is immaculately clean. My uncle's hospice agency, as well as home health nurses who came to Pronghorn Assisted Living commented that we could not have picked a better home. We are so thankful and grateful for the care our uncle received. Thank you Ramona you were a blessing!

Pronghorn Assisted Living provided exceptional care for my dad during the last two years of his life. He had Lewy-body dementia and could no longer walk, and needed 24/7 professional care. My dad arrived at Pronghorn while also receiving hospice support, but about eight months later his health stabilized enough that he was taken off hospice ” something we never expected, which says so much about the quality and attentive care he received at Pronghorn. Just as important, the caregivers spent time with him and helped him feel safe in a stage of life that can be scary and confusing for someone with dementia. We couldn’t have asked for a better care team which includes the owners of Pronghorn, Ramona and Alin. They were always well staffed day and night, provided home cooked meals, managed all his medications, and treated him with dignity and kindness. My family and I will forever be grateful for all that they did for my dad.

I can't recommend an assisted living facility more highly than Pronghorn assisted Living. My father lived there for a year and the level of care he received was amazing! On top of the great care...the owner, Ramona Rau ,was awesome. She is not just an owner that sits back and collects the rent. She knows all of the right medical people in the area, arranged many specialists to see my dad and really knew so much about all of the medications he was on. It made my life much easier knowing that my dad was taken care of so well.I thank the staff for their hard work and dedication each and every day . Thank you once again for the excellent care my dad received!!!

We can't say enough wonderful things about Pronghorn Assisted living. The level of comfort, care and compassion was unparalleled and truly felt like home. They were incredibly gracious to us as a family allowing us ample time with our father and grandfather when his time was drawing near. Ramona and her staff were exceptionally attentive and kind and he was always clean, dressed and well groomed. It is difficult when you reach the end of life and well lived. Pronghorn truely felt like Heaven's waiting room.

I was beyond grateful to be able to have my mom in a facility run by the Rau family, for the last 8 months of her life!!! In my lifetime, I've visited a number of retirement homes. The thing that always got to me was the smell of urine in those facilities. I can say, matter of factly, that the facility run by the Rau family is the cleanest I've ever seen, and the best run!!! The level of care and concern for my mother was nothing short of a miracle!!! One last thing, they do a wonderful job celebrating special days for people. I've included a pic of my mother on her very last birthday, with Ramona Rau. Thank you, Ramona and family for all the wonderful memories!!!

Pronghorn Assisted Living LLC in Prescott Valley is a true 5 Adult Assisted Care facilities. Home away from home feeling. Ramona & Alin Rau and their staff are so exceptional, with hands on care, love and support to all the residents needs. We were so blessed to have gotten on the waitlist. As soon as I met Ramona and the caregivers we felt like family. Mom loved them all as well, as soon as she arrived. The house is always spotless and smells wonderful with all the daily homemade food they provide. We love that they serve all meals in the dining room, this way the residents have the choice to interact with one another. You could not ask for better care! As seniors advance in years, there are many challenges and transitions that take place. It can be unsettling and difficult. Ramona and Alin are amazing and dedicated managers to this group home and they definitely are up to the daily challenges that arise. The staff are exceptional and efficient in their daily tasks, (caring, cooking, cleaning).The loving warm care that the residents receive is awesome! All three meals are home cooked and tasty. I highly recommend this assisted living group home to anyone who is looking for a home for their parent, relative, or friend. You will not be disappointed!

We were SO Blessed to move my father Jake into Pronghorn in 2022. At the time Hospice thought he might live 3 months. I have to credit Ramona, Alin and their wonderful staff for giving me 16 more months with my precious dad. He told me, You sure found a great place The residents eat meals together in dining room. They have appropriate equipment to move them safely. They are kind and loving. The home is spotless and welcoming. I couldn’t imagine any place better. My father spent the last three months of his life at Pronghorn Assisted Living. While it was a sad and stressful time for my family, the support and kindness we received from the team there was unbelievable. Ramona and her team went above and beyond to provide comfort, care and companionship even when my father was less than pleasant. They helped us access additional services when needed. They treat their residents like family, celebrating birthdays and holidays and providing nourishing home cooked meals. The home is spacious, bright and clean. I can’t imagine a better place for someone who needs full time care.

Our family was so happy that my very frail elderly mother was able to live at Pronghorn assisted living. She bonded with her primary caregiver who was very responsive to her needs. Everyone working there was so kind. I always felt very informed about my mothers’ health and welfare. I loved being able to frequently visit and participate in their social/holiday events. The home was always immaculately clean, bright with a lot of natural light and windows, and the residents were content and well cared for. The kitchen always had something cooking that smelled wonderful! My mother liked the food they cooked, I was appreciative that they were able to adapt their menu to serve foods that she preferred. And when it came time for my mother to need hospice services, those were very well coordinated with the staff there. The staff made her final days the most comfortable and best possible.

I can say enough wonderful things about Pronghorn assisted living.My mom was living there for 4 years until she died. I love the loved that Ramona and Alin showed her as well as there stuff they were good with her.They did not have to go anywhere when their illness becomes bad as hospice came there.The house is gorgeous and Ramona and Alin took care of them no matter how bad their situation was,when they were no longer able to eat on there own they hand fed them and they took them to the bathroom each time so they would not fall.I would recommend this place to anyone.You will be well taken care of and fed really good food by Ramona They also have entertainment and holiday parties where they invite families .They polished their nails and styled their hair.I can not say enough good things about Pronghorn assisted living it's the best thank you Ramona and Alin job well done .

The home is immaculate with nutritious home cooked meals & a peaceful environment w/professional & patient caregivers. They go above & beyond caring for their clients as if they were family.
