Nothing but incredible things to say about Erin and Alicia and Home Care Assistance. I have, unfortunately, had to arrange home care for my elderly mother multiple times over the last five years. In doing so, I have engaged with multiple home care companies, both local and national. Some were good, some less so. I have to say that Home Care Assistance is the best I've found. A few reasons for this. First, communication, communication, communication! Erin and Alicia are amazing with keeping me updated on what's going on, how my mother is doing, and what the schedule is going forward. For my family, beyond price, communication is paramount and they really do excel at this. Second, the cost is competitive and they are clear with their charging. Lastly, such amazing quality of caregivers. My mother and her husband have been incredibly impressed with the people they select, the introduction process, and the loving but regimented assistance they provide. I have to also say that it's always refreshing when a company goes above and beyond, especially in this day and age. Erin and Alicia have absolutely done that and I've been so thankful.

They are very caring about matching great caregivers with mom's needs. If we've had any issues, the care managers are very understanding and prompt in responding to our concerns. Once we've discussed the issues they don't hesitate to make the adjustments or changes needed to assure mom's needs are being met. When a change of caregivers was needed, for their reasons or ours, they are very respectful of all parties needs and feelings so the change is seamless and not awkward for anyone. I have nothing but positive things to say about Home Care Assistance! My step dad has been in denial about his failing health and severe limitations on performing life's basic tasks, while also being my mom's primary caregiver (she has Alzheimer's). Not a good situation especially considering us kids live out of town. We were able to convince him to start with the most minimum of hours each week with Home Care Assistance. Our case manager matched them with a wonderful caregiver and he immediately liked her and found her very helpful to him. His condition quickly deteriorated and now he is bedridden and Home Care Assistance was able to find caregivers to cover shifts 24 hours per day. I have been completely amazed at how quickly April our case manager was able to accommodate our needs, she had us covered within a day. Additionally, she is always so communicative, easy to reach, and it truly is apparent how deeply they care, and what a great job they do with hiring truly wonderful caregivers. I feel this company never sleeps! I would not look any further, this local family-owned business truly cares, is truly experienced, and has a knack at hiring wonderful people to help their clients in need. My mom was told to immediately go to ER after her podiatry appt. She was admitted and released 11 days later. HCA did a presentation for the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael, and I was impressed. I contacted HCA within days of mom's discharge. Alicia came by on the day mom was discharged for an in-home needs assessment (Friday). Monday Alicia came back and introduced Iryna. Alicia contacted me to say Iryna was allergic to mom's cat. Iryna came in on Wednesday, and Friday Alicia came by and introduced Alex. Alicia did a good job answering our questions, introducing new care givers, and promptly responded to email, text and calls. I asked mom what she liked about Alex: kind, hard working and smart. Alex took notes from Dr. appointments, medications (all medical issues), shopping and to-do lists. I really appreciated the notes 🙂 HCA will be the first call I make for future in-home care needs. Home Care Assistance of Carmichael and Roseville has been an amazing organization to work with, their flexibility, customer service, talented Care and Management team along with the great care they provided for my dad has been incredible. My family was in need of part time care for my father with the options to scale up if needed. We started with 5 hours a day for the first couple of years and we had a great experience with the care team. Most importantly my Dad loved the care team and was doing really well based on the care team supporting all of his needs. Recently my dad took a short turn with his health and HCA of Carmichael was very responsive and ramped up my dads care to 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The management team worked swiftly to provide a care team that was in house within days. The care team that we have had has been absolutely amazing! We fell in love with all of them as the swiftly acclimated to my dads home and his needs. The care team with support and supervision from the management team did a great job ensuring my dad was taken care of with love and respect along with a very professional detail to attention and needs of a recovering patient. The care team has provided a full suite of care including, Medical and Bathroom support, showering, Medicine distribution, food prep, doctor visit transportation and support and must Importantly a friendly loving companionship for my dad. Thank you to the entire team for supporting my dad in his recovery!

My 78yr old dad fell off his ladder, broke his ankle, and fractured/dislocated his other. We were in need of information and care ASAP. They helped guide us on our options, what was covered, and took the time to help my dad with the care he needed. Grateful he was able to get around better on a walker after a few weeks. Obviously hope we won't need care ever again and he stays off ladders, but if we do, I will be contacting again. Thank you for all the help during a very stressful time.

My wife is struggling with dementia which demands 100 percent of my attention 24 hours a day. I was looking for some relieve and called Called Home care assistance to see if they could help me. We've had Roseville Home Care Assistance provide care for my parents for the last 2 plus years and have provided us a great service. The idea and my promise to my parents was to keep them in their own home for as long as possible. Home care assistance provided that opportunity. Between Alicia, and Ryan's management they worked hard to get us the "right fit" help and provided the upmost in flexibility. Lets just say my parents are no where near the easiest to deal with and can be demanding. The communication was always good. Any concerns or observations were past forward keeping us abreast of my parents condition and was quick to recommend altered working hours and any care giver adjustments that benefited my parents needs. Like any assistance we settled in with some excellent care givers through this business. I'd like to thank and highly rate Kim, and Ivy in there work and unbounded honest care and concern for my parents. This is not easy work nor for just any type of employee. It takes a special level of commitment to work in this field as I have learned and seen first hand. Its not always perfect but this business went above the call to make sure all issues were addressed. As my parents needed nursing level care, Alicia went beyond the bounds of there own business to help us emotionally make that move to a nursing care facility. Its not an easy one but wanted to thank you.

We are very happy with our home care provider. She is a very good match for my mother who is 95 years old. She is willing to do whatever needs to be done and takes the initiative to help with any of the tasks that she sees that need to be done. We did have another caregiver that was not such a good match and Home Care Assistance was happy to find another caregiver who was a better match. My Mom considers her present caregiver a friend and looks forward to her visits.

While searching for home care assistance for my 94 year old mother I learned how difficult it is to find caring quality in home care. Working with Home Care Assistance of Placer County has been remarkable. They have really worked with me to find the right staff to work with my mom and mom can't be more pleased with the results. We have a group of caring women who, though they do not know each other well, work as a remarkable team. I was recently unexpectedly hospitalized for five days and the team of care givers kept things with my mom running normally and managed to get personal items to me at the hospital. I never had to worry about mom which made my recovery much easier. The staff at Home Care Assistance is truly a caring group of people who truly want what is best for their clients. I have no doubt that you could not find a better home care agency in the entire area.
