My mother has been there for six months and has received excellent care. Norma, the director, is very hands on and genuinely loves each resident. The staff is attentive, esp. Karen and Kim.

Our family could not be more thankful for the amazing staff, lovely setting & wonderful care our mother has received since moving to Village Green in December. Norma sets a beautiful example of service as she leads & directs her staff in caring for the residents that call Village Green "home". We are blessed & grateful!

I had the pleasure of decorating this facility for their Thanksgiving event on yesterday. The facility is absolutely stunning. The staff was extremely friendly and inviting. The director was hands on with everything! From the time I arrived, she was in the kitchen cooking and preparing. All the while, helping staff with residents as well. I noticed how she checked on the well being of her staff aIso, I absolutely love this in a director! She completely embodies what a director is supposed to be! I have been in the nursing industry for years and have been in several different facilities. I have never seen a director who exhibits such professionalism, integrity, and care! I would like to thank The director as well as Village Green, for utilizing my company, Sisters Creative Concepts, to design your event! I look forward to working with this facility in the future for future events! I will be back for the Christmas party!

I can recall coming into Village Green and thinking how there is no harder task than finding the right place that I would choose for my loved one and fortunately, I found a perfect place that I would actually feel at ease if I was in the position of having to place one of my loved ones in. I have always had a passion to care for our geriatric community and now here iam with village green giving the opportunity to give my utmost care to our what I consider my family our residents. The best way to describe village green is so different from the places Ive seen before. It looks like a comfortable and beautiful home , which is reassuring to the residents. As a staff member my number one rule that I implement is to be loving kind ,and treat my residence as family not just as another individual that we have to just care for. When Im in charge of cooking food for my residents, I make sure that it good and is a meal that may bring back memories of when they were once capable of making at one time. To other they call village green as an assisting living facility but to my residents, this is there home and I always try to make it a point to make them feel like they are at home. On my schedule days by day revolves around the residents at all times constantly making sure that they are well kept and as well as their surroundings . But most of all giving my residents lots of love and attention is the the most important over everything. I cant stress enough how lucky it is to be able to provide this care for them during this chapter of their lives, But most of all Im blessed to be part of a great team at Village Green.

I didnt think I would ever put my mother in a nursing home. But when it became clear that we couldnt properly care for her we sought out a home. Very happy with the decision. VG is a home-like environment. Everyone is very kind and patient with Mom and I feel shes getting better care than we could give her due to typical lives (work, kids) that everyone has to deal with.
