I am so happy to give Village at Valley View a high rating. I wish I had found them earlier in my Mothers journey. They went above and beyond to help me get my Mother into Memory Care. I do not know what I would have done without them. They helped me with everything since I lived out of state. I was in Ashland for most of the transition, but their care and help with my Mom was amazing. If anyone is thinking of using them I would highly recommend them.

VVV is a beautiful facility with wonderful residents and staff. It speaks volumes to have staff and residents that have been there since the beginning. Unfortunately after having worked here for over a year, I have to say I'm greatly heartbroken with the state of upper management. Shifts are constantly understaffed with no emergency staffing available. Employee concerns, such as quality/tasty meals and snacks that the residents like being available (especially for diabetic residents), are not taken seriously despite frequent meetings. I'm sorry to say it was the same issues every single day with no resolution being made. I've been gone for a couple months now, but from my understanding it's only gotten worse. I personally did a lot of lifting to raise these concerns to the right people, advocate for my residents and their families and for a better workplace for my colleagues. I gained a work family that I will always be grateful for, and I got to love some really wonderful residents and family members. Unfortunately for them, VVV is the better of the two memory care facilities in Ashland. Family members are doing the right thing for their loved ones, but not being met with basic respect and concern especially after paying so much money. Living here is NOT cheap! I leave this review hoping it gets the right attention and hopefully change is implemented. It seems raising concerns privately doesn't mean anything to Lenity Management. I love and miss my VVV family, but these issues plaguing the place will only continue to push away good-hearted people who will take amazing care of their residents.

Moving my mother to the Village at Valley View almost a year ago was the best decision we have ever made! Melissa Harris is very caring and her staff are all wonderful. It is truly a family atmosphere full of fun, compassion, and genuine interest in the happiness and well-being of each resident. Staff really stepped up to the plate with their implementation of COVID requirements while providing ways to stay in touch, and with their commitment to keeping the residents calm, safe and secure during the recent local wildfire. My mom tells me she LOVES living there and I am just so grateful and appreciative of this wonderful place!

I have been at the facility as an employee for 6 weeks and I am always impressed and humbled by the care, the love, the leadership, the food, and the fun from our dedicated staff of employees, truly. I am grateful and proud to be part of this amazing group at Village at Valley View in Ashland.

I was looking for a rehab for my mom. Everyone was so friendly and helpful right from the first phone call. When i toured it was clean and smelled good and reaidents were involved in an activity. They do not do rehab they are a memory care but that didn't stop the administrator from helping point me in the right direction and she even looked up resources and gave me phone numbers. I would highly recommend calling them if your loved one needs memory care.

My mother-in-law moved into the Village at Valley View several years ago from another memory care facility. We decided to move her here because we felt she wasn't getting the attention she needed. She loved to listen to music and interact socially with fellow residents. She wasn't getting that stimulus. After we moved her we noticed a very positive change in her. She looked better, less stressed and more energetic. The staff here at Valley View took the time to interact with her. They had on occasion provided live music and there were open areas where the residents could interact socially. The staff there is very caring and my wife and I appreciate the time and attention they give to the residents under their care.

Wow! What a lovely place this is. The place is set up like a large private home great room where there is a kitchen and seating and things to do. It's bright and cheery and the staff crack me up. They really know how to deal with stuff that happens in a kind and loving way. I am so impressed. And the food looks really good too. I'd eat here, particularly dessert!

We held off for years in placing dad in Memory Care. We thought it best for him to be at home with a relative. I wish we had made this move YEARS ago. I LOVE Village @ Valley View in Ashland, OR. My dad is so well cared for. Every time I stop in to see him I'm impressed with how caring and loving all the employees are. They're so patient. They have activities going, music, yummy food. I've never come in and had the facility or my dad smell dirty. My dad talks about how much he likes "working" there. He says it's such a peaceful place. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Village at Valley View has been a God send! All of the administrative staff and caregivers have been so wonderful. We could name several, as many stand out, but Javier has been so thoughtful and conscientious. His time and attention are very much appreciated. Everyone there truly cares about their residents and the community being cared for by their services. T&K Banke

My Mom has been at Village at Valley View for a year and half. The care she receives is loving, compassionate, gentle, patient, positive and fun. From the Administrator to the Dishwasher, everyone cares from their heart. Plus the food is delicious. Thank you.

After considering nearly 15 different memory care facilities in Medford and Ashland, Liz was among the first to settle at the Village some two years ago. The facility itself is without equal: clean, bright, airy. The outdoors is nicely landscaped with ample walkways and seating areas for resting or visiting. The management and senior staff are well qualified and caring. While their chief focus is managing residents care and staffing, we were impressed by the emphasis given on including family awareness and development: introducing outside community resources and information sharing among families within the community. Caretaker and med tech staffing has improved greatly over the past two years. We gained great admiration for their tireless efforts to care for residents at a difficult time of life. We would like to express our gratitude to the owners, management and care staff for the care extended to Liz and her family. Steve and Sandra

We couldnt be more pleased with the care mother is getting at Valley View. They have the kindest and most compassionate staff across the board. They are organized and keep the place very clean. The food is excellent. Mother enjoys the activities and social interactions. Her quality of life is much improved.

Melissa Harris and staff do amazing work caring for all the residents at Village at Valley View. My grandmother has been there almost a year and it was very hard for my parents to make the decision. Melissa Harris was so kind to my parents through the transition. There was an adjustment period but I have seen my grandmother thrive and make new friends. Especially during this Covid-19 time the staff works extra hard supporting the residents with extra love since families can only do window visits. I hope soon the virus will get under wraps and I can come visit and give my Grandma the biggest hug. My grandmother means so much to me and I feel lucky to know she is in such great hands. It takes a Village and Village at Valley View does an amazing job.

When I started looking at Memory Care Facilities, for my Mother, I had a number of questions. How stable was their work force? Was this just a job to them? Would my mother fit in? Were the Administrators accessible and easy to communicate with? How often was there a price increase? What hours of the day was I allowed to visit? What was it really like as opposed to what my eyes could see? In my search, I considered 5 different facilities. I was most impressed with Village at Valley View. I liked that the residents had several areas outside of their room that the television was not an intrusion. That I could visit anytime. The facility was clean and bright and the colors in and on the building had an upbeat feel to it. And admittedly, not a determining factor, I liked the music they were piping through the building ...... mostly 1940s music which the residents could recognize. But most importantly, the caregivers were paid above average for their skills. I did not want a turnstile workforce. They have always responded to me and my concerns almost immediately. And they have been proactive with me and my Mother with suggestions that would make her life more comfortable. Is everything perfect? It is for me and Mom.

I have traveled around the US and seen many memory care communities. The artistry, the heart, and the values of the architect are reflected in this beautiful and unique design and landscaping = allowing connection with one another and with the natural environment. Stop by and see for yourself!

I am in search of a memory care facility for a family member, I have visited a few in the valley and by far there is no comparison. The Village is a place from the heart. I had wonderful tea and sweets at the facility with the residents and families this afternoon, I also met an army of warm and caring caregivers. The bright and cheerful feeling from the physical space to the genuine caring staff instantly put me at ease and I knew I am in a wonderful community. I talked to different family members and they were welcoming and praised about the care their loved ones receive at the Village. I am very impressed by the professionalism of the staff and their genuine care from their hearts. This is definitely the community I would place my family member in when he is ready.
