My loved one has been at WindSong for 8 months. The care staff is kind, friendly, and attentive when they have time (5 stars) but staffing is always too low. Sometimes only three people are working the entire building which means no one in the dining room supervising meals, other safety concerns, smelly rooms, etc. Three different executive directors in five months. MUCH staff turnover probably due to low pay, needing to work extra shifts, and admin not listening to staff concerns. Staff who stand up to admin for the residents are not well received. This was a nice place years ago but the Montessori method they brag about is not being carried out due to low staffing. Again, I appreciate the kind, dedicated floor staff and the meals look good. Occupancy continues to decline. Rate is $7,250 a month as of Oct. 2024.

My loved one has been there for several months. The food is warmed over food service food. Always short handed, care staff was working the kitchen. They are not consistent with routine helping to with showers, dressing, meals. They are slow to answer residents call pendent. Bathrooms are not kept clean, toilets dirty, waist can overflowing, paper towels not loaded into dispenser but set on the bathroom counter, usually out of toilet paper. DR rarely checks in with us even after an event taking loved one to the ER. Monthly rate going up by 600.00 a month more with a 2 month notice. We don't recommend. We will possibly be looking to move loved one to a more affordable location.

My husband is in Memory at Windsong. There are always at least 4 aides always there working on each side. Also, there is a nurse on duty during the week and activities director who I have seen, painting nails, playing pool, and wearing a costume one day for the residents. The employees CARE. They care about their residents and their families. The aides listen to concerns and get back with answers. I would highly recommend this facility.

This will be my 3rd time application that I have done . Im very interested in working with this company, Im a very hard worker and I take care the residents like they are my own family members . I get called in for a interview but they never call back for orientation ..
