For the short time my grandma lived there the staff took excellent care of her. It felt homey and was always clean. I’m thankful and grateful to all the nurses and caretakers who were kind and loving to help my grandma in her last days.

Mom is comfortable there. She thinks of the CNA's and nurses as her friends, as they are all very happy, caring people. I know she is safe there, and well taken care of. I like that it is only one price, vs a price that keeps going up as more care is needed.

I am very grateful to have met and spent time observing White Oaks memory care center staff. Upon each visit the training, care, and dedication that each staff member possesses while interacting with the elderly residence is heartwarming and such a relief of stress and worry. I've learned the hard way that caring for someone with Alzheimer's/Dementia can be very challenging and absolutely overwhelming with lack of help, experience and personal training. I've also learned that in home care may not always be a safe choice, and can turn dangerous at anytime for anyone when a loved one may have additional underlining medical issues and or an unexpected "Episode". I want to thank White Oaks for the safe peaceful environment and outstanding care they provide

My mother was a resident at White Oaks for almost 2 years. The staff at White Oaks is great and they really seem to care about the residents. The staff really gets to know their residents which gives them daily comfort. The community seems to be well managed and is always clean. The activities are great! There is always a variety to keep your loved one engaged which is so important for those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I highly recommend White Oaks to anyone needing to find a nice, safe and welcoming place for their loved one.

White Oaks McHenry has become home for my father for almost 3 years now. Overall, I am very happy and thankful to have such a well kept place near and easily accessible. I appreciate the staff, from Office Manager to the main care Facility Manager Debbie who has taken her time to make the transition & consistency in care comfortable for my Dad and myself. And, I am so extremely pleased with 2 the most excellent Caregivers there... Cassidy & Karly! They are so gentle & kind. They both cater to and tend to my father in the nicest way at all times. They have never been anything but happy and helpful to him in all that they do. They are both always so cheerful & patient. We are very thankful to have them there! Thank you White Oaks! We have been very happy and impressed with White Oaks at McHenry. Everyone that works there has been helpful, kind, and friendly. Some of the things I love about White Oaks: -the bus trips residents can take to parks, stores, restaurants -the time residents can spend outside for exercise class, gardening, when the weather is nice -the layout and cleanliness of the building -the musical entertainers that come to perform -the therapy dogs/animals that visit weekly -the activities offered throughout the day by Doris and Deb, resident services coordinator and activity assistant, who are awesome people. It gives me peace of mind knowing our loved one is in this nurturing environment.

Certainly the decision to place a loved one in a Memory Care facility is a very difficult decision. My mother continues to have excellent care. The staff has been caring and wonderful. Despite staffing shortages in the industry White Oaks somehow is always well staffed. Communication is the best with direct lines to a nurse on staff, always. Support is provided by a doctor that visits weekly, physical therapy is on site and visits by a podiatrist. There are activities planned, in the courtyard, bus rides, crafts and birthday parties. They are always providing stimulation for the residents, as possible. I would not hesitate to recommend White Oaks.

My mother recently passes away. She spent over 3 years here. When she first went there it was a wonderful community. It started a slight downturn shortly after arriving. This certainly appears to have been rectified and the past year has been headed in a wonderful direction. The staff has grown in numbers and knowledge. I would certainly recommend this place as it is today.

My mom has been living at White Oaks for the past 2 months. She fell 2 weeks in and broke her hip. After hip surgery the head administrator highly recommended we bring her back to White Oaks rather than a rehab facility. I'm so thankful we did that - the care and physical therapy at White Oaks has been excellent. The staff at White Oaks is amazing - their patience and care with the residents is outstanding. They treat them with kindness and dignity. The food is amazing and the activities are wonderful. It is a clean, beautiful residence with wonderful patio gardens to enjoy with flowers and a vegetable garden!

Both my parents were cared for and loved by the White Oaks staff. Before we moved them there, we visited 20 other homes. None had the facilities and loving programs that White Oaks did. Even through covid, they gave them superior care. As the end drew near for each of my parents, White Oaks was with us as family, and in the end mourned with us. The Best in Memory care! Thank you

It was with a heavy heart that my sisters and I had to move mom to White Oaks last October. I cannot say enough about the staff, from the Administrator, to the receptionist, the Social Director, the nurses and the caregivers. We could not want for a more loving, attentive staff to help my mom on a daily basis. With COVID-19, this staff has been AMAZING, keeping all of the residents safe and healthy. White Oaks has not had ONE case! They have done everything in their power to ease the stress of dealing with this disease for both their residents and the families. I have personally witnessed the compassion given to my mother in different situations, even when no one was aware I was on the other end of the telephone line. Every day we talk about how we made the right decision for our mother and how thankful we are for the staff of White Oaks!

On Sunday July 29 the staff held a luau. Entertainment was provided by Bahama Bob, the food by staff cooks was quite good. It was a very nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon, a very nice day to be alive.Bob & Judy miller

My Father had been my Mother’s caregiver until recently when he had a series of health issues himself. We moved my Mom into White Oaks in McHenry (December 2017) and couldn’t be happier. We are still working on Dads health. The one thing I haven’t had to worry about was Mom and the care she was receiving, as I knew we had her in the best place possible. Thank You White Oaks staff!

White Oaks is a wonderful memory care community! My mother-in-law has been living here for a month and she is doing great! She seems happy and comfortable and well taken care of. The White Oaks staff is awesome and the facility is clean and beautiful! If you are looking for assisted living for your loved one with dementia definitely check out White Oaks. We LOVE it!!
