Cornerstone Living was an absolute blessing for mom. She was previously in a facility that was not just very understaffed but also very inept at taking care of anyone with any sort of memory challenges. The prior facility had also literally abandoned mom which, although was illegal and incredibly stressful at the time, turned out to be the biggest blessing that could have possibly happened. We found Cornerstone Living which turned out to be mom's home for her last fifteen months. The staff at Cornerstone is the most loving and attentive group of professionals you could ever hope to find for your loved one. Every time I visited mom, not only did I see the love but, I could also feel it everywhere. Mom was always happy, never lonely and never in want of anything during her entire stay. The animal visits were such an added bonus! Mom chose to exit this realm while I was out of the country, however, she was lovingly surrounded by six staff members that talked to her and gently rocked her as she quickly slipped away with Jesus. I could not have asked for a better departure for mom. I highly praise Cornerstone Living and all of the staff. From the deepest depths of my heart, a great big "Thank You" to an amazing home and extended family. May God continue to bless you all.

My dad was only there for a short period of time before he passed away but he was well taken care of while he was there. You can tell the people who work at Cornerstone actually care for the patients who are there and it is a tougher job than many people realize. The girls who I know were taking care of my dad seemed happy and always had a smile for us when we would be there, as well as taking care of us while we were there as well. My dad was treated with dignity while he was there and that is all you can really ask for.

I could not have found a better place for my Mom! The staff is very knowledgeable of Alzheimers and Dementia and treated my Mom as if she were their own mother or grandmother. I was always kept informed when the house physician or podiatrist saw my Mom. The meals are home made and Jen's peach pie was amazing. Being a smaller facility, they can provide more personalized care. My Mom was always clean and smiling when I visited. The staff always asked me if I needed anything!

We could not have asked for better people to oversee our mother's care. Staff are very professional while still maintaining warm and personal care to the residents and their families. I would not hesitate to recommend Cornerstone living for a loved one needing short or long term memory care.

Cornerstone Living was a wonderful facility for my mother-in law to spend her final days. The staff treated her with love and kindness and took care of her many needs. As I visited, I was impressed with the staff, as they took care of all the resident's needs and did it with love and kindness. Although my dad's stay was short, the staff and management at Cornerstone were nothing short of considerate, knowledgeable and welcoming!! They made dad feel right at home. Our experience with Cornerstone Living was top notch. The assistance we received from planning how to get my uncle into Cornerstone was wonderful which resulted in a smooth transition and admission into hospice care as well. The entire Cornerstone staff was very communicative, positive, compassionate. As a healthcare worker I have high expectations and they were exceeded. Staff were patient, kind and paid attention to detail. They weren't intimidated by my uncle's stubbornness, managed to engage him and were able to get cooperation from him. Even though my uncle was only there a short time, we felt welcomed and were comfortable, knowing he was being well cared for.

Every staff member was wonderful to my father, myself and my husband while we were visiting my dad. I could tell they all truly cared for my dad and his well being. They gave him his favorite thing all the time which was ice cream! The staff made him feel at home and assured him he was going to be ok in their care.

My Father lived at this wonderful facility for over a year. This facility is like no other because of the loving staff. They are one of a kind and treat the residents like their family. He was a very difficult person to take care of from his behaviors of his disease. We were blessed to have the help of the Cornerstone Staff during this difficult time in our lives. Beyond grateful to the entire staff at Cornerstone for their care and compassion for my mother. Knowing that mom was comfortable and safe was very comforting. Hospice was contacted at the appropriate time with nursing care that kept mom comfortable as she transitioned and ultimately peacefully passed. Thank you for all you did to make mom's last moments filled with peace and love.

We looked at numerous facilities before deciding upon Cornerstone for my mother's care. Many of these facilities were beautiful, but somehow cold. Cornerstone on the other hand is very homey and warm. They continue to make upgrades to the facility, but aside from the facility the staff is wonderful. They have a dedicated staff that truly cared for my mother. It is a hard decision to place a parent with dementia, but I know that I made the right one when I chose Cornerstone.

My mom was a resident of Cornerstone Living for a short time. She had heart issues and dementia. The staff provided excellent care, and I always felt like she was in good hands. The staff members are patient and caring, and they go the extra mile to figure out the activities that each person enjoys. I loved when staff members would share stories about mom's day. Although she could never remember what she ate each day, she always said the food was excellent. The admission process went more smoothly than I could have imagined and accessing the facility was so easy. The atmosphere was friendly, and it felt like home. I so appreciate the entire staff for their support during a difficult time.

My father spent the last four months of his life at Cornerstone Living after a serious stroke. He was already dealing with dementia and end stage liver disease so he needed a lot of attention. I can't speak more highly of the staff and how patient and loving they were in caring for my father. We had family and friends visiting with him almost every day while at Cornerstone and never saw or heard of anything negative in terms of the care he received. While it is always a difficult decision to put a loved one in a nursing home my family feels that Cornerstone was the right choice particularly with his memory issues and other physical challenges at the end of his life.

My husband’s short stay at this facility ( respite) was a positive experience. He felt comfortable as he was well cared for. The staff are attentive to his and other residents needs. I personally feel welcome whenever I visit my husband and staff are available to answer questions about his care. Also would like to thank Mordy Frankel and Ashley Hartman for their help in the admission process, and for being available whenever I have questions before and during my husband’s stay at Cornerstone.

My mother was here for over 2 years. The facility is a little older than a previous facility we had her in, however they have been making upgrades. More importantly, the staff was much better suited to dealing with memory loss and the behavioral components that accompany it. It was comforting to know she was in capable, compassionate hands.
