Excellent care, occasional mishaps at meal time. Can't imagine a better place for my wife's care. Have already recommended it to others for their family members.
July 2026
I wish they keep track of what the residents need like, diapers, toilet paper, hand soap. Most of the time I have to ask for diapers when I checked the cabinet that it’s out of diapers. Sometimes I see the toilet paper almost to the last drop,

Everyone at Harvester treat Mom like she is a member of their family. She is so happy living there. Carole and her team are fantastic. I am so happy we moved her from a Memory Care home that was not treating her well to Harvester Place. Best decision we ever made for Mom. We love Harvester Place!

The kindness and support we received from our initial meeting, to moving my father in, and beyond has been extraordinary. I cannot speak highly enough of every person I’ve met and interacted with at Harvester. You’ve created an incredible community, and I am so grateful for the care and warmth everyone is providing to my father.

Traci was wonderful! She carefully listen to our concerns about our family member and made suggestions as to how to move forward in our care choice. The staff that we met were attentive to us and the residents. I gafe great confidence that Harvester Pkace would provide the high level of care for our family member.

My name is Delana Rhodes. My husband, Robert was a resident of Harvester Place in Burr Ridge for two and a half years. After his stroke, he developed dementia and he needed more care than I could give him. Our family doctor said to go to Harvester Place and check it out. I placed him the same day. While this is a beautiful, clean place, as you know the staff is what makes any place run at 100%. The Administration of Carole Considine and nursing administration of Joan Mulryan were always there for my many questions. The nurses on the unit as well as CNA's all get an A+. I could see the confusion and pain on families who were touring, and if possible, I would tell them if you cannot keep your family home, this is the next best thing. I am and will remain an Anthem advocate if anyone asks my opinion. I feel truly blessed to have had my sweet husband at Harvester for his remaining years of his life. The peace of knowing he was safe and loved was worth the world to me.

I found working with Carole to be a real education. She is very knowledgeable about every aspect of the care at Harvester. Also, while we were on our tour, I was amazed at how many residents she knew personally and how many staff she was close to.

Harvester Place has many great staff members! One of them is Andy and he deserves this shout-out. He is kind, considerate, and puts the residents’ needs above all else. From the first time we met him, it was clear. He helped my family member get settled in the room, installed the TV, and did not leave until everything was to our satisfaction. I have seen him throughout the building moving from task to task with purpose and a smile on his face. During a transition yesterday, he went above and beyond to dismantle and remove a bed, so a new bed could be delivered for my family member! Thank you, Andy! You are a gift to Harvester Place and a GEM beyond comparison.

My brother get very good care at Harvester Place. It is a difficult place to keep up with the residence but I know they try their best. Nothing is perfect but I give them 5 stars for there effort.
February 2026
Finding Harvester Place for my mom has been a blessing. The staff truly engage with the residents ...chatting, helping, listening, participating in activities with them. Socializing and activity for the residents is why we chose Harvester. Each resident is treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their memory and/or health situation.

I dropped by Harvester by mistake as I was looking for a place for my husband who does not have memory loss. I still received a warm welcome by the front desk and a candid conversation with their Executive Director, Carole. She patiently shared her experience and insights in senior caregiving, even though she knew from the start that I was not their target client. She provided me with the most helpful information that I needed. It was obvious she truly cares about caregiving. She appeared peaceful, considerate, and caring. I am glad that I dropped by Harvester by mistake!

The main reasons for my review are Traci and Carole. Traci reached out via email and phone almost instantly and followed up with me the day after my tour. Carole was wonderful to speak with. She genuinely cares. She wanted to know about my mom and saw her as a person. Not every place I visited did that. She also knows all of the residents and sincerely cares about them. I felt so supported there. The rooms are very comfortable. The courtyard is very nice as well. The halls are wide and bright. I love that it is one level so the residents can go outside, which is a priority for my mom. The staff I talked to was welcoming. I would feel comfortable bringing my mom here. We decided to go with another community at this time, but if our plans end up changing, Harvester Place will be the next place we call.

Harvester Place cared for my grandma for several years and it was such a blessing. The staff is the heart of this place, and I truly mean every single staff member. They love the residents, treat them with such dignity and professionalism, and go above and beyond in all aspects of care. I cannot say enough good about this facility, yes the building/facilities are great but the staff is what makes it so exceptional. A very warm, friendly, welcoming, and family-like environment.
November 2025
Amazing experience! We moved my father here 2/13/25 needing more care for his dementia and received so much more than expected! Not only was he well cared for but so was his family; They offer support groups for family as well. When my father passed a couple of months ago, saying goodbye to Carole and her staff was harder than I thought it would be. We had become a family of support for not only my father but for all the residents here. This small memory care facility welcomes its resident like family and the experience & care received is unlike any other facility. 5 stars isn’t enough for this team of caregivers.
November 2025
My family member has been a resident for 10 years. He is very happy living there and has formed bonds with the staff. I can’t praise them enough for taking such good care of him and keeping me advised at all times. Highly Recommend this facility to anyone seeking help.
October 2025
We moved my father to Harvester after he was diagnosed with early-onset dementia. The staff is absolutely wonderful, the facility is beautiful, and I know he is well cared for. He’s always been a picky eater, but the kitchen is amazing and he loves the food. I can’t recommend it enough!

I want to recommend Heather for her kindness and thoughtfulness to my husband Heinz Kern. She definitely goes out of her way to help him

From introduction to Harvester Place to the time of my wife’s passing I could not have asked for a more caring, more qualified, more responsive team than I experienced at Harvester. Attention to residents safety and well-being was staff’s foremost concern while interacting with patience and warmth. Nursing staff were always responsive to my concerns and questions, never dismissive of my thoughts or worries. The facilities were always clean and fresh. Selecting a memory care home for my wife was one of my most critical decisions, and without reservation I can recommend Harvester Place.

Harvester Place Memory Care in Burr Ridge has been a wonderful home for my mom, and I truly feel she is in good hands here. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, which makes all the difference in creating a safe and comforting environment for residents. While no place is ever perfect, I believe Harvester is the best place for my mom to be, and I have peace of mind knowing she is supported, engaged, and cared for with compassion. A very special shout out to Carol, Joan, Venus, and the entire nursing staff, whose dedication and kindness go above and beyond every day. Their patience, professionalism, and heartfelt approach make such a positive impact not only on the residents but on families as well. Thank you all for the love and care you continue to give”our family is truly grateful.

Our mother was transferred here and what a significant and wonderful difference. A great facility, many more activities and great nurses and staff with a lot of positive morale who are rightfully proud of their work (Sumana and Tim to name a couple that come to mind, but there are also others.).

I recently visited my aunt, and the joy on her face was unforgettable. Her smile was like no other. She was entertained by the music, and I was impressed by the employees. Jaylene stood out to me as she greeted me and made the moment with my aunt special. Every time I visit, I see how much love and dedication the team at Harvester Place puts into their work. It means the world to me and my family to know my aunt is surrounded by such compassion. I am deeply grateful for everyone at Harvester Place. I like how there is a courtyard for the residence to sit outside. Carole and her team is great!
August 2025
I've had my mom in senior care for 15 years, when I moved her to Harvester Place her life changed. She is now engaged in day to day life and has a new zest for life. Its all because of the care she receives from the staff. Carole has assembled a team that is second to none. They keep the residents busy all the time with games, dancing. music. I wished I would have made this move years ago. Scott D.

We are incredibly grateful to Harvester Place for the exceptional care and compassion they provided to my father (Eugene) during his time there. From the moment he arrived, it was clear that this is a place where residents are treated with dignity, respect, and genuine kindness. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Carole, Alex, Andy, Venus, Selena, Quiana, and the entire staff for going above and beyond in every aspect of my father's care. Their warmth and dedication were remarkable. They ensured my father's needs were met, brought smiles to his days, and comforted our family. The entire team worked to create a nurturing and positive environment that significantly improved the last five months of my father’s life. Harvester Place demonstrated remarkable attention to detail, tailored care plans, and consistent communication with our family, providing peace of mind and assurance that he was receiving the best possible care. They truly set the standard for excellence in memory care, and I wholeheartedly recommend them

My mom was at Harvester Burr Ridge for about 5 months until she just recently passed. I had looked at 8 places for my mom and this was the last on the list. I talked to Janet for an hour, met with Carol and toured the facility after which I knew it was the right place for my mom. It had "good vibes" and I knew they could meet the demands of her dementia. The staff, including the support staff like counselors, nurses, aides and support staff, went above and beyond to not only care for my mom but to make her feel loved and included. When I visited I never felt I was intruding, but warmly welcomed. People participate in fun activities, music and conversation with warmth and compassion. When I needed them the most, they were there with kindness and empathy. I will actually miss visiting this place! I would highly recommend Harvester at Burr Ridge for your loved one.

Multiple Staff Reviews : Quiana is always a bright star when I’m visiting my mother. I appreciate her knowing my name and greeting me as such. She ensures that my mom and I are well taken care of. Thank you Quiana. Thank you to Sabrina for helping my mom and I today. Sabrina came in a pinch and I am most appreciative of her kindness. Thank you to Trina, LaShonda and the rest of the social work team for always being genuine and authentic in their efforts to support my mother! Thank you to Meg for being such a get greeter and a wealth of knowledge. Thank you to Janet for the gentle support as we were making the decision to place my mom at Harvester. Thank you to all of the front desk staff for greeting us warmly upon our arrival. Thank you to the rest of the staff for being such great caregivers to my mom and making her born day the best ever!
December 2024
We love this place! My husband moved in April 2024, with the friendly, upbeat Janet Donovan as our move in coordinator. Having had a tour with her on Jan 3rd, - she was instrumental in helping us choose Harvester Place. She continues to be a friendly face when we visit. Andy has been amazing and so accommodating with hanging up pictures/a quilt rack, posters, a clock - all to make Dave’s room much like his music room at home, we are grateful! Front desk staff are (Ann, Terry, Meg, Steph) are so warm and welcoming each time we enter - thanks to all! Dee, activity director extraordinaire, thank you for all of the field trips and daily activities to keep the residents involved and entertained! The nursing staff, ( especially Jennifer), And of course all of the CNA’s are so kind and caring and patient with their very important hands on care of our beloved Dave. Deep appreciation to all! Moses- much thanks! Finally- to Caroline and Joan , your attention to detail and individual focus on each resident is outstanding! I know I have left out many names - but shout out to the east side staff for your TLC!

Ivy has been a vital caretaker for both of our parents for the last 2years. She always goes above and beyond to help and be so very kind and patient. All the staff are very friendly and amazing with all the residents. Harvester Place is clean and plenty of enriching activities and entertainment. It’s always a hard decision to place loved ones in someone else’s care, but we know after every visit he has better care, support and enrichment than we can provide. We so appreciate everyone there.
December 2024
Meg, at the reception desk was so very caring and helpful! Thank you. Ann Gaston
December 2024
My partner, Rich Freeman, was dealing with a glioblastoma brain tumor. His short-term memory was challenged. This community led by Carole Considine gave him friendship and care beyond my expectations. It was a light and friendly home for his last two weeks. I can never thank them enough for their care and love. Ann Gaston
December 2024
This is Delana Rhodes i would like to say thank you to Grace, Joan Carole and Megan for being so kind and helpful during the move in process for my husband Robert.
November 2024
We moved my mom into Harvester Place four months ago from another memory care facility and it is head and shoulders above where she came from. Janet and Carol made the move in and transition seamless. They are both constantly out in the wings with the residents interacting with them regularly! Stephanie is always a friendly face we see with the residents as well. Joan, Linda, Gil, Danyanique, Andy, and the rest of the staff are so kind to my mom and the other residents.
October 2024
Carole and Joan are phenomenal Could not have made it through my mom’s fight without them. Highly recommend if you have a love one suffering from dementia, no 2 better people to care and love them. ——
October 2024
What a wonderful place when you need it the most, Carol & Joan couldn’t be better,
October 2024
A Very caring staff. An active group that works well together. A blessing for Pat to live here!
June 2024
My mother lived at Harvester Place for 4 1/2 years, from October 2019 until her death in late May, 2024. If you have a loved one who needs assisted living, I recommend Harvester Place 100%. The director, Carol Considine, is very hands-on and I always felt better knowing that I could call her at any time about any issue at all. It wasn't that way in Mom's first nursing home, not at all. The director did not visit each resident every day, as Carole does, or know all of their names by heart. Carole's team respects her and works right along with her to provide above-and-beyond care on a daily basis.
April 2024
Compassionate caring community. Small in size but family oriented. Cared for our mother to the end.
February 2024
I toured many facilities looking at a place for my father . From the moment walked in the front door it felt like it was the right place. After talking with Janet, taking a tour and meeting Carole, I knew this was 100% perfect for my Dad. The facility is wonderful and the staff is amazing. My father was there for only 4 1/2 months, but everyone on the staff knew him and liked him. My dad really liked everyone on the staff at one point telling me they got a good crew here. I am so glad I found this place for my father to spend the last month of his life. I would highly recommend it to anybody looking for care for their loved one.
February 2024
If I could give more than five stars I would. Ultimately, our family member was placed elsewhere as memory care was not needed, but our experience with Harvester Place was top-notch. If our meeting with Harvester’s management team of Carole, Janet, and Joan is any indication of the quality, professionalism and caring associated with staying at Harvester Place, your loved one will be well cared for. Those three went a long way to restoring our confidence in the healthcare system.or at least in selected professionals within the system. Their meeting with us was such a positive, beneficial, and uplifting experience that it altered the course of where we were heading. Our sister had been in and out of the hospital for the past eight months and was becoming increasingly unable to care for herself. The hospital was unable to address her issues and seemed to be more interested in pushing her out the door than in helping her. The revolving door of social workers assigned to our sister’s case were all more interested in protecting the hospital than helping their patient. This situation caused us to spend several months researching living options, their appropriate costs, the difference in each type of living arrangement, the appropriate level of service our sister needed, the potential fit our sister might have in their communities, the medical resources each community offered, etc. All of this work was done on our own during a very hectic and depressing time with little or no help from the hospital. It seemed as if no one was willing or able to help our sister or us. We were extremely frustrated and confused. Eventually our research led us to Harvester Place, and we scheduled a tour of their facility on 2-8-24. When we arrived on 2-8-24 for our tour, we first had a meeting with Carole, Janet, and Joan (who had driven to the hospital to investigate our sister’s condition and to see firsthand what was happening). These women were the most caring, concerned, and passionate people we had met on our healthcare residence journey. They listened to our story, compared it to the assessment that Joan had performed and concluded that, although our sister could live at Harvester Place, there were potentially better fits for her out there that might more effectively meet her needs. So, while Janet gave us a tour of the facility (which was bright, beautiful, and well equipped and staffed) Carole and Joan took the time to scour their network of resources to see what might be available to help us. In addition, they continued their search overnight to see if they could help us come up with a better plan for our sister’s care, even if it meant sending her elsewhere.
February 2024
I would like to publicly express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to Carole Considine, Executive Director, and Janet Donovan, Director of Community Relations, at Harvester Place. Both Carole and Janet have been very helpful, supportive and compassionate in overviewing the community with my family and assessing my mother’s memory care needs for living here. Their communications with me have been cordial, insightful and timely. The facility is modern, clean, comfortable and very nice, with an exclusive focus and dedication to memory care. Everything and everyone at Harvester Place convey a high quality of care and value for the money. I rate Harvester Place in Burr Ridge at the top of my extensive list of assisted living facilities for memory care for the elderly.

December 2023
We would like to express our gratitude to the amazing staff at Harvester Place. On our very first day we could feel the love and warmth generated by the staff. -Their staff is the biggest reason why we love it here- Anyone who has gone through the process of finding a home knows how difficult a decision it is to relocate a loved one. In our case, my Dad was from another state and spoke a different language. Harvester Place made the transition wonderful. With the kindness and care we have received, it is so comforting to know our Dad is in such good hands. A big shout to Joan, Sumana, Rosabella, Julie, Andy, Chris and all of his amazing team! Carole and Janet and your lovely office staff who greets us with a smile every time we enter the building! Sorry if we missed anyone. You are saints on earth! Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!

I am very pleased with the care and service provided by Harvester Place and ALC hospice. They love Mom and she loves them. Aides are warm and affectionate to the residents, the food is excellent, and atmosphere and decor are tasteful and pleasing. Holidays are festive for all, and lots of fun daily activities are planned to meet all resident needs. I should add that I was in a dire straits situation when Mom was admitted, and they went above and beyond to be helpful.
March 2023
I brought my aunt to Harvester place and the care was excellent. She was treated with respect and her care was exemplary. Carole the administrator was always available to answer any question or address any concern. Joan and her nurses and aides were so kind to her. Jessica and her front desk team always greeted us with a warm and friendly smile. I would highly recommend Harvester Place to anyone that is looking for long term care for a loved one.
March 2023
I have been visiting a loved one at Harvester for the past 7 months and her overall improvement has been remarkable. The dedication and total commitment of management staff is matched every day by the unyielding care and compassion of the nurses and caregivers. I will mention a few(Jocelyn,Ivey ,Tanisha )but honestly the entire roster at Harvester is a credit to the organization and an inspiration to residents and visitors alike.Under difficult circumstances, the staff at Harvester shines brightly each and every day Thank you
February 2023
Harvester Place does over and above for my loved one. The caregivers, management, dining, life engagement, just everyone is so nice. The place is super clean and the food I hear is delicious.
November 2022
I absolutely love this facility it take wonderful care of all of it’s residents and ensure the safety of all.
October 2022
Without question, I would recommend this community to anyone who is unable to care for a loved one with dementia. Carole and Joan work tirelessly to insure that the residents receive stellar care around the clock. In fact the entire team including housekeeping, life engagement and dietary, go over and above to provide a high quality of life to all who reside at Harvester Place
October 2022
My grandmother is very happy there. The people are all amazingly nice and she is extremely well taken care of.
August 2022
I recently placed my mom in the care of Harvester Place in Burr Ridge, IL. From the moment that I walked into this facility and spent a few moments with Carole & Theresa (now retired), I knew in my heart that this was the perfect place for my mom. My mom suffers from advanced stage dementia. I can’t thank the nursing staff enough for the compassionate care that they all give my mom. I visited several facilities before I chose Harvester Place, but the professional, caring staff at Harvester Place is the absolutely best and certainly won me over! My mom is very happy there , she loves her nurses and they love her and that makes me feel comforted and happy!
July 2022
I have had a family member living at Harvester place for the last year. I have nothing but praises to say. Staff is kind & caring, for the resident & for the family of the resident. The care received is excellent. The director goes ABOVE & BEYOND!! I can recommend Harvester Place.
October 2021
Our Aunt spent her last three years at Harvester Place (HP) where she was happy, engaging, unafraid, and thankful. On one of her visits to my home, my heart was elated when she announced, "I'm ready to go home now." She had always lived with family, so for her to refer to HP as home was more than we could ask for. At HP we saw our Aunt do things she would never do before, such as sing, dance, and talk about herself and her family (her nieces and nephews). She was a quiet person until she had something to say and all the staff gave her the respect and understanding she required. When the decision to move our Aunt to a specialized community was determined necessary, the best advice we were given was to give her the best we could while she could still enjoy herself, as her condition would inevitably show its debilitating progress. Seeing our Aunt enjoying life over her last three years, is a most treasured gift. We know she was able to experience a good life at HP because of all the wonderful staff in place who exemplify the strength and character of the Harvester Place Mission. The dedication to serve their residents equally serves their residents' loved ones. I am proud of my Aunt's relationship with so many at HP and I am proud of my and the rest of the family's relationship as well. I cannot think of a better place for our Aunt to have called home!
October 2021
I feel confident that my mom is in a safe and loving environment.
October 2021
My father came to Harvester Place from another facility. At this facility, he was "sent out" to the hospital 4 times over an 8-month period. It was obvious that this facility wasn't prepared to handle my father's case, even though it claimed to be a memory care unit. I never felt like he was getting the personal attention he needed, as the patient-to-caregiver ratio was rather high. All that changed when he went to Harvester. The management and staff took the time to learn all they could about my father and incorporated that information into his care plan. Carole, the director, knows every resident personally and treats them with respect and dignity. And this filters down to the rest of the staff. They keep me up to date frequently and always respond in a timely manner to phone calls and emails. They have activities every day to keep the residents engaged. My father's journey is coming to an end and I am so grateful he is at Harvester and is receiving the best care possible.
August 2021
The staff at Harvester Place has been so very kind and patient with their clients. They truly go above and beyond to make sure they are safe and well cared for. It gives the family peace of mind to place their loved ones is such a pleasant atmosphere.
August 2021
I have great respect for the care and compassion the folks at Harvester Place provide their residents, staff, and visitors. Great community with a convenient location!
July 2021
My mom arrived at Harvester Place for what was intended to be a rehab for a month or two and then a prompt return to her previous facility. However, after observing the quality of care, activities and personnel we decided to make Harvester Place her new home. Carole, the executive director and her staff did everything they could to make my mom and us feel good about Harvester Place. Jocelyn the nurse was supportive in general health suggestions while Reyna assisted in suggesting clothes and shoes for more comfort for my mom. Danyanique was so pleasant in her exchanges and transport of my mom that my mom commented on her sweet demeanor. Also Theresa in sales was kind and thorough in her discussions with us regarding the business aspect. There were too many other kind staff members that I unfortunately can't mention by name here that just gave us peace of mind that this is a first rate facility. My sincere thanks to Carole and her whole crew for their high level of care and compassion ! Jim H

Carol, Joan and her team run a buttoned up community. They are a hands-on duo working with all team members and residents. I see them constantly working on educating their staff, supporting and motivating them in holistic ways. They have worked amazing hard to communicate with families during the pandemic and have found creative ways for zoom calls, window visits, drive by parades, and various other activities. If my father had not passed away, this was my community of choice for him. #HarvesterPlace

My Mom has been at Harvester Place about 18 months, it was hard to finally make the decision. I researched many places before deciding on Harvester which I chose for its commitment to memory care, size of the community and attentive caring staff. Every small bump in the road, they handle immediately and in a satisfactory manner. In COVID world, they reach out and are good communicators with the families. My Mom is now thriving since she has been there which is the best recommendation I can make!

I was very impressed with Harvester Place Memory Care Home the first time I visited. Although, I was unsure whether I, myself was ready to commit to my wife, Patti becoming a resident. That all changed after speaking with executive director, Carole and clinical director, Joan and also director of HR, Theresa. They spoke of how the entire community was an extended family. Patti was a member of the Harvester Place family for just over 2 years 2018-2020. The entire time I witnessed just how much the staff provides the mix of professional care with the family love for their residents. This gives you the spouse, as in my case all the comfort one truly needs and appreciates. Knowing your loved one is being provided with the best care possible is what you will receive from Harvester Place Community in Burr Ridge, Illinois.

We recently were put in a position where we had to place a friend of ours into a memory care facility. After a few virtual tours at local facilities we decided on Harvester Place. From the moment we signed the agreement the staff went out of their way to help and care for our friend. Carole and Theresa were exceptional to work with as were all of the care givers.

I am so impressed with the staff and facilities at Harvester Place. From day one, they treated us like family. Making the decision to move a loved one into a memory care facility can be scary, but Harvester made the process and decision easy. After my Mother-in-law passed away, Harvester really took the time to talk to my Father-in-law and us to make sure that we were doing okay. We are glad that Mom was treated with dignity, respect and care (even though she was quite feisty towards the end) in the final months of her life.

My parents really love this place. They haven't even noticed that it's memory care. The facility is clean, comfortable and small enough to feel homey. And the quality of care that they are receiving is evident. They're well-groomed and they actually participate in and enjoy the activities. They like the staff--and the other residents. The transformation at Harvester Place has been amazing. We could not be happier with the choice to move our parents here.
