I can't say enough praise for Sarah and the staff at Our House Memory care. Moving my dad into a facility was a hard decision to make, but Our House has definitely made that decision much easier. Their personal care and attentiveness to not only my dad but the other residents as well, has truly put my mind at ease. What a beautiful place. The atmosphere in many memory care facilities I have visited can be so chaotic and stressful to the residence but not here. The staff and Director are amazing people. They are very gentle, caring, fun and friendly. Thank you for making this a wonderful place for families to take loved ones to. I wish I could give more stars because you honestly deserve it!

Very clean, and the staff is super friendly and nice....they actually care for the residents, and the amount of time and effort they put in just to see them smile, is absolutely priceless!!!! I highly recommend Our house!! Also communication is high priority, along with organization.

The staff make you feel at home when you come in the facility. My mother had a close relationship with many of the staff. It became her home. My fmother passed away recently and the Director of the location was right there with her when she passed. There is a real connection that can happen within this location. The entire staff helped and cared about my mother.

Without hesitation I can say Our House director Amanda Johnson and her exceptional team of caretakers have gone above and beyond to make our father's new home loving, caring, joyful, respectful, active and specific to his individual needs. Amanda has been incredibly helpful and a willing soundboard as we made several requests to help navigate Dad's highest level of cognitive well-being. Dad has adjusted to his new environment with ease and can say with peace of of mind he is sincerely happy, letting me know on several occasions "The people here are exceptional! They are all so kind. I'm a very lucky guy!"

Of course like so many others moving a family member into a care facility is always difficult but this was especially emotional for me. Once I connected with Our House after working with A Place For Mom, Hannah immediately made me feel safe and comforted. I toured the facility had my questions answered and was able to move forward with the placement. Hannah and her staff were always helpful, cooperative, and quick to respond. Thank you all for your dedication to a very difficult profession the world needs people like you.

I have followed this Senior Housing for some time now. The staff there are remarkable with all the activities and events for everyone to partake in. The smiles that come through all the residents faces is proof that they are truely cared for. It takes special people to work with all these residents and from what I see, these caretakers CARE .

Someone recommended Our House to us as we were looking for a place for our mom. We couldn't be happier with the facility. The staff is caring and kind and do whatever they could to make mom feel at home. There meals are all homemade and buy from local stores. They take time to visit with the residents and really make them feel at home. I highly recommend this facility.

Mom has made Our House - Memory Care home for almost 3 years now. I speak for my sisters and I, when I say that we couldn't have chosen a better place for mom to live. When I walk into Our House Memory Care, I feel like it is 'home' not a facility like some places...which was important to my sisters and me. Meals are prepared at each building for the residents...breakfast, lunch and dinner with dessert and also snacks during the day. Prior to Covid, when I would visit, I would find mom sitting at the table with other ladies having coffee after breakfast. The staff is very good when caring for the needs of the people living there, and rooms are kept neat and clean. Activities are planned as well...i.e., bingo, coloring Easter eggs, planting plants in individual pots to name a few. I would recommend Our House Memory Care should anyone need to find a place for a loved one to live. Thank you to Hannah and staff for the good care that mom receives and the good food!

Our House management was extremely welcoming and easy to work with when we moved both of my parents there in November. Staff has wonderful communication with family members, are friendly, and take very good care of their residents. We appreciate how they keep residents engaged in activities, provide wholesome meals, and care about everyone's well-being.

Our House Memory Care does a very nice job caring for individuals with various forms of dementia. The staff is very friendly and compassionate and the management team is helpful and very involved. As a community-based Social Worker, I regularly work with this facility and have been impressed with the care they provide to the patients that I work with.

When my mother needed more care than my husband and I could provide we started looking at assisted living facilities. Our House Senior Living jumped to the top of the list before I’d even been there. I made a lot of phone calls to get information from different assisted living homes. Every time I called Our House a real person answered the phone. The director was very friendly, listened to my concerns, and answered my questions. Whereas some places touted the social aspect and all the fun the residents have, Our House seemed focused on quality of care. Shortly after my mother moved into Our House her sister moved in also. Although my mother’s time at Our House was brief my aunt has been there almost 3 years. She enjoys living there. She has made new friends and she loves the food. Whenever someone asks her about it, she replies, This is a good place. They’re real nice here. And the food is real good. Although I haven’t been able to visit during the pandemic, the director has done an excellent job of keeping families updated on what’s happening at Our House. My sister and I have been allowed to take my aunt to appointments, out for car rides, to get carry out food and eat outside all the time wearing face masks and social distancing. The director and staff really seem to care about the residents and want to provide excellent care.

This is Candy Thalacker writing this review. My mom is a resident at Our House in the memory care center. She moved into Our House right before the pandemic began and she knew no one there, which is especially hard on a person with dementia. Our House went on lock down the beginning of March and as of today, visitors are still not allowed in. However, the girls there have done so much in making my mom's stay there enjoyable. They have been so creative in finding things for her to do to occupy her days while no visitors or entertainers are allowed. And I want to give a big shout-out to one of the girls there. Keturah is so respectful and kind to my mom (and to me) and sooo patient, which has to be very hard some days when you're working with memory care residents. Keturah even gave me her personal cell number so that I could FaceTime with my mom. (We tried Zoom but my mom had a hard time hearing us.) I totally agree with the policy of no visitors at this time, so it has been wonderful to be able to see my mom and talk with her by FaceTime. Keturah also sends me random videos and pictures of my mom. I love getting them--it always makes my day! She is a wonderful asset to Our House! I think when you are choosing a memory care center for a parent, you try to find a place where they will be physically safe and also content. While my mom is very confused most days, I think Our House has done a wonderful job treating her with kindness and respect and I believe my mom is happy there! She calls the girls that work there her friends!!

Our House is genuinely like a home. All of the residents are always taken care of and happy, and I haven’t seen a place more involved with activities and getting residents to live their best life than at Our House. Staff is always attentive and if there are ever any issues they are solved in a timely manner and always respectfully. I’ve seen a lot of facilities and this is by far the one that makes a person feel like they are at home.

Initially, I mixed up the appointment date for a tour and showed up two days early. I'm so glad that happened. I had done plenty of research on the local CBRFs prior to doing any tours. I could not have found a better place for my mom! It is so very apparent that the staff truly cares about their residents. I happened to be there at lunch time and one of my concerns was the quality of the food based on past experiences Mom had. I ended up dining there (great food!) and was able to watch the staff interact with the residents. They chatted with every resident, and if a resident needed assistance with being fed it didn't matter how long the process took. At Mom's prior place it was rushed and that had been one of her frustrations. She was there less than a week and the change in her was dramatic! She was talking, smiling, socializing with other residents, and getting herself around in her wheel chair. These are things that did not happen at her former residence. It's been almost a year and Mom loves being there and I love her being there.
