Caters to clients that dealing with dementia/ Alzheimer's. Caring staff , like the fact that there are activities. Calendar posted monthly . Has a family day / where friends and family can be with their parents / siblings etc. Usually a theme get together . Staff is knowledgeable about their clients . If staff notices problems or concerns , they notify me . ( about my parent ). I can sit with my dad at meals ( if he wants ); garden area . Food geared towards their clients . Different places within the facility to spend time with dad.

My mother-in-law has Alzheimer’s and had a brain aneurysm last year. She is very limited in her abilities. She is lovingly cared for at BROOKDALE by the extremely committed staff. We are grateful she has a safe, secure, and comfortable facility that feels like a home away from home.

My Dad has been at Brookdale for 2 yrs. Their staff is so caring and compassionate with all their residents. They have activities everyday and they try to get all the residents involved. If you are looking for a Memory Care place for your loved one I would highly recommend this faculty.

My mom has been at Brookdale Oklahoma City Southwest for two years now. My brother and I selected it because of its homey atmosphere; not too big and not too little. I have been very pleased with the administration and caregivers! They all genuinely seem to care for the residents.The first year was a learning experience for me just dealing with a loved one with dementia and they also had to learn what stimulated my moms memory. She loves music and dancing! There is hymn singing every Thursday at 1:00 and a faithful gentleman, Kurt, comes in and leads the music. If mom is hurting from all the weather changes, the music always lifts her spirits! When they have parties, family gathering, or just someone playing or singing impromptu, my mom probably will start to dance. I discovered from her living at Brookdale that my mom was and still is quite a dancer (jitterbug, etc.) I love seeing this side of her!I would definitely recommend Brookdale Oklahoma City Southwest to others. I moved my mom there 6 months ago and she seems to be doing well with the adjustment. She smiles at the staff and is eating better than at the other place. I think the staff is very attentive to her and the other residents. If I ever have a question come up, I just talk to the staff and it gets addressed promptly. The staff really cares about the residents well being. The staff is always working on activities for the residents and they really seem to enjoy themselves. The support group for caregivers is also helpful. All in all, I am very happy that I made the move for mama and wish I had done it sooner. Thank you staff for helping me realize I made the right choice.

I am currently an employee working for a therapy company that visits this building. The residents are always so happy and participating in fun activities. They do a wonderful job protecting and caring for all the residents of the facility and treat them just like family. I love visiting this building.

We recently moved Mom from a nursing home to Brookdale OKC Southwest. What a difference a month makes! Mom has adapted well and seems very content in her new surroundings. The staff is very solicitous, the facility is lovely and Mom seems much more engaged than she ever was in the nursing home. Very, very pleased and so glad we found Brookdale!

This place is amazing. Seriously unlike any other assisted living, nursing home, or memory care facility I have ever visited. In the few short months my grandmother has lived there her mood, physical strength, outlook on life, ability to speak, memory, family recognition, appetite, EVERYTHING has improved. I have worked in this community for 2 years and I absolutely love it! The team that we have is incredible and we truly love our residents. The staff at Brookdale South is just like family. They always have the best interest of the patient at heart. The facility is clean, cheerful. The family nights they host they host are great and give the residents special time to interact with others. I looked at a lot of places before deciding on this facility and would say it is the best. My friend used to be home alone with no interaction except from his neighbor and me. Lonely and now he is here , clean happy and enjoying people and eating three meals a day and actually smiling a lot which he never did before. The staff is amazing. Highly recommend this facility.

They are so awesome here. They treat their residents and their families like family. They do great activities. The staff is always smiling. The food is awesome too and they get plenty of it. I am so grateful we found this place for our mom.

My father-in-law George was a resident for over a year at this facility. When George arrived from the nursing home, he was in bad shape. With the love and support from the Clare Bridge family, he flourished, got better physically and really thrived there. He was treated with love and respect. He enjoyed gardening with Becky, enjoyed their outings, made friends with everybody and was a big help to them all with the residents. George passed away in December, but we will always be so thankful for the wonderful care that he received when he lived at Clare Bridge. He loved everybody there and was very happy. Thank you all for taking such good care of the man we all loved so dearly.
